child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I've tried the online chat woth barclays and it says 'if you're getting in touch because you've not recieved a child benefit payment- these payments are due to be paid between Monday 3rd June and Tuesday 4th june. Please check your account after this time' so we could all be paid tomorrow.

I bank with Nationwide and haven’t got mine either. Embarrassingly, one of my direct debits has now failed as I was slightly short (because of the missing child benefit payment) 🤦🏻‍♀️ how fun! 😭🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi ya I'm the same it is due in today the 3rd June, mine always goes in at 12am the night before, but as now I have just checked my bank account, I bank with ulster bank nothing has went in... I getting worried as I rely on the money for my kids.

This is ridiculous! I haven’t been paid either (Lloyds) really hopefung for that money today to get some food shopping in. Please let me know the outcome as I know a lot of people will be phoning in

Hi has anyone else not received Child benefit payment today? I have been paid since my kids were born on a Saturday on a weekly bases, however Saturday just gone I did not receive any payment and was waiting for today just incase but I still have not been paid. Is it the CB department we must contact at this point ?

So call your bank and explain that it is due to the obviously widespread CB issue and ask for a temporary overdraft (increase) to cover it.

Many banks say something like 'if you put the money in by 3 pm on the same day, the payment will be made at the end of the day' and you'll not be charged. If you are charged, ask for it to be refunded.

I read last week they were upgrading their system, and payments will go in on Monday or Tuesday.🤷‍♀️

Hi Iam with Monzo too and for the first time in 4 years I haven’t seen my child benefit pending this past Friday. Its Monday morning and I still haven’t got payment my child benefit

I've had exactly the same problem with Barclays! I messaged them just before coming on here. I wonder what the problem is.

Mine hasn’t gone in this morning either and I bank with Santander.

Child Benefit has gone in for me today. First Direct.
