child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

Yes because that's how they make sure it doesn't get spent on the bills so they can buy nappies

After reading all these posts . It’s now Monday I’m meant to get my child benefits today and it’s not gone in :/

I bank with natwest and I'm supposed to be paid CB today 3rd, my bank no longer gives payments over the weekend as used to receive on Saturday, yet I did not receive mine either. Just checking with my bank, but the automated message states that they do not stop incoming payments.. so it most definitely could be fault from CB side, if everyone is experiencing this issue all the same, I guess the phone lines will be incredibly hard to get through to today.

Make sure you contact bank first prior to contacting child benefit, UC won't deal with this as cb hmrc is seperate benefit payment from UC altogether.

What does this mean though as I received mine last time on Friday 3rd May (last time early due to the Bank Holiday) which means its due today.

I'd argue phoning them will be pointless too after the first hour of the day they'll know somethings gone wrong

I just read this and it looks like it states payments should be back to normal this month despite all of the bank holidays in may.

It doesn’t mean anything, dates aren’t changing at all. The bank holiday just meant there were changes to those payments but this payment stays exactly the same as previous.

I should have received it today (June 3rd) it's not there. I rely on this money to get our prepaid gas and electric every Monday. I'm panicking now!

I'm due my child benefit today the 3rd of June benefit forecast says I been paid but money not reached my bank account and I'm with TSB

Cb don’t open till 8am so how could you have contacted ?

Well I'm phoning today as mine was due today so I want it just like everyone else who was due today needs to demand it

There's probably a system error, panicking will not solve anything.

I bank with Nat west …nothing either and im totally overdrawn in the bank because of this - i hope it goes in today
