child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I’m the same, I’m with Barclays, normally get it Saturday and haven’t received it today. I’m going to try and ring them at 8 to see if I can get through xx

Get over myself?? I move it so it doesn't get taken by an unexpected bill, which I knew something was due out today but child benefit is for my kids I.e nappies, milk ect, it's not like I'm saving it for myself, so yeah I'm gonna worry when I'm running low on nappies ect for my physically disabled son and i have severe anxiety myself. not that I should have to explain myself. Thought this was meant to be about supporting each other and the first time I ever comment something I get told to "get over myself". Just wow.

Me too,I am waiting to phone my bank up then will phone hmrc to see what has happened,we all rely on the child benefit coning in

Morning all, dunno about you but I'm not just worried but also exhausted for not being able to sleep with worry. God help the minions in the phone dealing with all of us this morning. All I would say is that HMRC covered themselves by saying it can arrive any time during the 24 hours

My child benefit was supposed to be paid today 3rd June but hasn't gone in. Has anyone else had an issue?

Yes I think alot of us r in the same boat. I have checked the hmrc website and definitely due it on the 3rd

I usually get mine on Monday had my youngest payment this morning but not my eldests payment of 25.60 first time since claiming very strange

I think it would be helpful if HMRC put a statement on their website to give a bit more clarity.

mine hasn’t gone in this morning. I bank with Monzo and usually can get on a Friday at 4pm. My payment wasn’t showing in my bank to be paid over the weekend.

Obviously there is an error somewhere and people that don't need the money immediately would probably be best not clogging the phone lines to leave them free for those that need it to buy food. I see someone upthread is wittering about moving it to savings.

Well putting it in savings like that isn't how people normally run their account, apologies if I misunderstood.

But you'd be better off getting your CB paid into a separate account to your bills account if that's what you want to do because, if there is an 'unexpected bill' then chances are that it will get taken anyway, as all the credits and bills happen at the same time so you're unlikely to get in to extract the money before it goes out by DD.

But as money is taken by DD is covered by the DD guarantee, if it is taken when it shouldn't be, you're entitled to an immediate refund.

Still nothing for me, never heard of it hitting on a Tuesday before but I'll be checking with HMRC then if it hasn't hit. I thought I was going mad when I checked my bank account this weekend as I move money to keep my Bills money separate from my spending money, but nope just didn't hit my account when it usually does. Luckily my Bills aren't due out straight away so I have time to wait.

Yep I feel the same way. Although mines not even showing as pending for tomorrow so I’m unsure as to if this means it also won’t go in tomorrow.

Yes they can cope with everyone kicking off, they'll be polite then if you kick off too much hang up on you

I’m nationwide and haven’t recieved mine either but HMRC app says 3rd June for last payment!
