Just watched nurses insta from this morning. She's having another chill day, cleaning the house was far too much work for 1 day so a week off is clearly needed now, how did she ever work as a nurse?! Also whinging about the kid and lego when the set is for 3 years older than him. My DC is a year younger than hers for even the small lego sets she usually does them in the kitchen whilst I'm making tea or something so she can ask for help when she needs it, anything for age 7+ we sit and do together I'm stages so she enjoys it otherwise it's too frustrating for her. Expecting him to be able to build it all feels a bit unrealistic.

I’ve got a feeling Nurse was the passenger colleague from hell, you know the type, “where’s Nurse today? What?! She’s off sick again? That’s really dropped us in the shit”. She was community based so perhaps was able to go AWOL and then spent the last year and a bit on sick leave. That sick leave might have been perfectly legitimate but if she’d been any good at her job they’d have been keen to get her back in the role as MHNs are so needed. Nurse’s work ethic is clear to see now and I’m sure it’s not a new behaviour.
