It was her new tt post where she's saying the cars, wealth etc didn't make her happy. Time freedom is making her happy. She worded it along the lines "I've had the ranges, the money, the blah blah but this is my version of wealth, ie dog walking midday. The wealth has gone. The flp heydays are done. It's reality time now. I bet her next venture will be setting up a recruitment agency or similar

@Sunsea21 you must live fairly close to my neck of the woods if you’re talking about her house in/near a town beginning with C. Are the people you know who were stung by Homeschool now out of MLM altogether? Homeschool did have a brief go in some high performance car Ponzi after a period of being out of MLM didn’t she? I assume that was short lived. I wonder how she looks back on her FLP days?

I had some interesting screen shots of her manipulation of downlines to line her own pockets. A combination of not caring about what she did to others and lucky timing gave her some cash which she and Weird Willy burned through quickly. Now they’ve both (separately) spent time on the insolvency registry. They are a great example of where lack of talent can get you if it’s coupled with greed and ruthlessness. The current FLP bots should study the Homeschools closely as their story has got all the red flags: belief that FLP would always be on the up, financial overstretching, bullying as panic set in, marital breakdown as the pressure grew, a desperate foray into another MLM but unable to reproduce the cash, desperate need to she the accoutrements of “success” leading to further financial overstretch, sidestep into coaching, diminishing audience, downsizing, Ponzi scheming, universal credit, vegetable delivery, obscurity and regret.

At least Homeschool appears to be getting on with her life and may well be happier now, but Weird Willy is still lost in some kind of twilight zone where everyone else is a narcissist. What a pair of tossers.

@MrsDilligaf I'm so sorry. I think of all the people worried about mortgage increases with no comparable increases in salaries plus the massive increases in gas and electric and basic food shopping. How do people on fixed incomes manage? Thank heavens we paid off mortgage, got rid of 2nd car, kids grown up and moved away. We've got our costs right down now although vet visit earlier has raised some serious concerns re elderly cat . Some big costs coming down the line in the new year.

The likes of Yawn et al will be searching for such vulnerable people to exploit but MLM is far better known today than in FL's heyday of 2016. People are far more savvy and less likely to fall for these scams.

Nice? My arse! Here’s what Gavin de Becker said about people who are “nice” in The Gift of Fear:

Like rapport-building, charm and the deceptive smile, unsolicited niceness often has a discoverable motive.”

If you haven’t read The Gift of Fear I would recommend that you do so. It could save you an awful lot of trouble. He also says similar things about people who are charming.

My favourite quote of his is “No is a complete sentence.” Bots seem to think it’s a “not right now” or a starting point to a negotiation.

Here’s de Becker’s quote about charm:

Wise words! If more people read de Becker’s books and watched his YouTube interviews and lectures fewer people would fall prey to MLMs, manipulative folk and those who are downright dangerous.

@Spongebobette exactly. She's been treading water for years that one and its all going to shit. These scams can only last so long before it all implodes. Whatever will yawn do once its all gone!

Castle wants us to believe that her Masterclass is nearly sold out but judging by the engagement on her “biz” posts recently I expect she has a handful at best. The planner post from 5 December has finally gained 10 likes. The effort required to like a post is minimal and if her followers can’t be bothered to do that they certainly aren’t going to waste time viewing content and paying for it.

Another thing that irritates me - I am sure, if she is selling something online she needs to make that clear, especially as she is asking for someone’s data first. No indication of the cost of the Masterclass upfront.

I also wonder if Castle is going to get her youngest son the much needed help he needs. As a SEN mum l could see that little boy is clearly autistic. I hope she has the guile to actually do something rather than ignore

She had team training last night as usual, makes reference to talking to a new lady about the business yesterday, is meeting a guy to talk about the business today, has posted eleventy billion social media posts about the business ....

When I have time off I have nothing to do with work ...no contact, no emails, no phone calls, no meetings ..... AND I STILL GET PAID!!

My last day of work this year is this Thursday - I’m using up some annual leave before the end of the year
I won’t be back at work till 8 January which is three and a half weeks
and yes I’ll be paid the whole time!

We get given 12 paid days off over Christmas/New Year (that doesn't come out of our annual leave entitlement).

@fitgirl26 he’s such a joke isn’t he?! As Sleaze is currently based in a former bank in the Tameside area I’ve reported his Ponzi to Trading Standards relevant to that area. I’m hoping others have too. It probably won’t do any good and it also amazes me that anyone could possibly take him seriously and actually trust him with their life savings but they do. Trading Standards seems to be the only option.

As expected NNN has taken the time the kid is sick to not do anything. Her current 'job' is to do a couple minutes social media while applying make up and do her 'course' and she didn't even manage that.
Mid next week though everything stops which is a relief as everything has been sooo crazy! Oh and happy hump day!

The more l watch Castle and 2jags the more I'm struggling to see how on earth they were competent police officers. How the he'll either of them made it to detective is beyond comprehension. I'm pretty sure Castle wasn't a detective although she claimed to work on a drugs squad, but 2jags was and she was a Sergeant too so had sat two professional exams - the NIE which is for Detectives and the NPFF for Sgts. Whether she was any good at them, or indeed substantive (acting as a Sgt rather than boarded or still a Trainee Investigator rather than Pip2 qualified) at either, is another matter.
