Online surveys? Try Qmee, Yougov, curiouscat, valuedopinions

Crepesandconans · 29/07/2023 11:39

My favourite is Eureka surveys for fast payouts and low cashout requirements. You can cashout every £4 and get £1.20 each time you withdraw.Hey! Use my code U3P92Q on Eureka Surveys and unlock a short 80p survey just for signing up! https://eurekasurveys.page.link/cBaiwo9fP5YYGZGb6

Surveys ,
boring to do and some of them will wait until the end of the survey to DQ you, which can be frustrating. but I've had £50 in the last month from Attapoll. I only do the short ones, while ads are on etc

AttaPoll - Paid Surveys

I'll use your code if that's okay

Crepesandconans · 31/07/2023 18:30

Thanks very much! I got a code from another MNetter not long back and it is definitely my favourite survey site so far.

Don't know if you're into crafts, but I opened an Etsy shop this year and I'm making about £50-70 per month by selling greetings cards. Planning on expanding my range of products as it's going quite well.

rhij86 · 31/07/2023 21:52

@MillenialAvocado how much time per month would you say you put in to that?

Crepesandconans · 01/08/2023 09:22

How much does it cost to set up an Etsy shop@MillenialAvocado? My friend is very good at jewellery making and this would interest her x

MillenialAvocado · 01/08/2023 16:24

It's completely free to set up an Etsy shop. The downside is they do take a lot of fees from your transactions. It is a very easy and convenient platform to use though.

It's hard to say how much time I spend on it per month. It did take me some time to set it up initially, and work our designs for my cards etc. Now I've done that it's just about completing orders, which doesn't take me long as greetings cards are pretty simple to do. Maybe 15-20 minutes per order (10 minutes to print and package and then 5 minutes to the post office and back).

Crepesandconans · 01/08/2023 16:52

Thanks@MillenialAvocado that's very helpful.I suppose the downside of the high fees is offset by the fact that it is a very accessible platform that has a high volume of potential customers Definitely something to look into, thankyou.

Where i work mon-fri, pretty much everyone has a second, sometimes even third job.I know a lot of people who do Uber/deliveroo as they can pick and choose when they work and also a lot of people do surveys, work a saturday job or do amazon delivering.I think with the cost of living being as it is,people will all be taking on extra work just to pay the rent/mortgage and to hopefully have a bit of extra cash for themselves.

Crepesandconans · 01/08/2023 17:31

I have applied to Deliveroo to be a driver but I am not sure how long the screening process takes.I have also applied to Just Eat as I have heard they are quite good to work for and you get shifts and are pretty much guaranteed to get enough work with them.

Crepesandconans · 02/08/2023 19:57

Eat secret shopper sites have people signed up to? I looked into doing this before Covid but would be very interested in doing now.

Crepesandconans · 02/08/2023 19:58

*What secret shopper sites

Tripolitripodder · 02/08/2023 20:01

How much do u earn weekly from surveys@Crepesandconans ?

GarlicGrace · 02/08/2023 20:05

Have any pensioners found surveys to pay them? All the ones I've tried boot me off as soon as I confess to being old & poor.

Crepesandconans · 02/08/2023 20:07

I probably earn around £30 a week just from survey sites.I do qmee, streetbees and Eureka surveys.I probably spend around half an hour a day doing surveys when I am just watching TV or relaxing and just do them as a habit now really.

Crepesandconans · 02/08/2023 20:13

I think certain sites are looking for quite a narrow demographic @GarlicGrace.I signed up to streetbees last year and barely qualified for a story each day or so.When we got a kitten and filled the box of owning a pet and telling stories about that,I was suddenly getting 3 or 4 stories a day.I do find certain survey sites seem to want certain people to answer their surveys and it takes a while to find one where there are sufficient surveys for it to be worth your while.

Tripolitripodder · 02/08/2023 20:17

OK,thanks@Alargeoneplease89 @tracylamont13 @reesewithoutaspoon and @Crepesandconans will have a look at sites 😀

Tripolitripodder · 02/08/2023 20:33

Used some of your codes, thankyou will see what I can do

I,m older and yes I noticed that too. You could always make up a whole persona of a 30-something parent , invent the job the salary etc and use it for the surveys. Most of them are just asking for opinions on brands or products so don't feel to bad. You arent affecting anything of real importance

GarlicGrace · 02/08/2023 21:11

Ahh, @reesewithoutaspoon (nice username!) Judicious lying.
If you can make this much pin money on surveys, I'm up for it 😂

reesewithoutaspoon · 02/08/2023 21:25

Also watch out for the surveys that offer more money than the others. Like £2:50 for 10 minutes when everyone else offers 25p. I have found through experience that these are the surveys that take you 20 minutes to finish then when you click the finish button they say "Sorry you have been disqualified " and you don't get credited for it. They just take your time and data. So honestly don't feel bad about telling a few porkies
