Exactly @Ooowhatshappeningnow. I’ve asked Nurse if she’s accredited by the BABCP and she claims she was last year (she wasn’t) but hasn’t bothered this year because she has only been taking a very few private clients and has been busy doing her NHS job (not building her empire).
She may have paid to be a member of the BABCP which anyone can do if they’re interested in CBT but this isn’t the same as being accredited on their register
which is a lengthy process and not something you purchase annually when you feel like it.
So either she doesn’t know what CBT accreditation is or much about CBT’s professional body despite offering herself up as a [previously] accredited CBT therapist [which is worrying] or she is lying about her credentials [which is also worrying]. She has never been on the accredited register, I know because I checked back in 2020/21 when she started talking about offering CBT.
