£150 council tax rebate - have you had it yet?

No , apparently it’s because the government haven’t given the councils the money yet, I think it’s very sensible the councils don’t give the money out until it comes through.

Clearly it's varying between authorities then.

Our local rag said governments have until September to pay it… I wouldn’t expect any council to do anything promptly

Some people in my council area have received it, I have not.

No, and when I checked our local council website it was as vague as it was at the beginning of the month. The general tone was 'we'll pay it when your first instalment has been paid'.. but that's nearly 2 weeks ago for me so clearly it's just not the case!

Not yet - but my LC are saying they aim to pay everyone on a direct debit plan by mid-May. So, tick tock...

No but for some reason I was expecting this to be paid on the date that my council tax is due, which isn't until the end of the month.

I got mine last night. My council were very clear on the payment dates - anyone paying by direct debit was given a week in which they would receive the payment, those not paying by direct debit have to fill in a claim form and they hope to process those by the end of May

Not had ours yet - is everyone going to credit their energy company with it or use it for something else ?

Yes got ours on 14th, 6 days after our DD went out, Wakefield council. I know the council where my parents live out a fb post on yesterday saying they were just testing the software and would announce payment dates soon.

Our local council said anytime from April. That's now been changed to anytime from May. Very vague
