Yes we’ve just had it. Went straight into our bank account. It says on the councils website if you don’t pay with direct debit it will take longer.

Although I've just received a quicdo cashback for setting up broadband of £140 that I'd forgotten about so that will help towards the bills.

Nope as we are wrongly in Band E. all our neighbours are in D and I’ve spent the best part of a decade appealing without success. They owe us thousands.

Yes got mine. Our council put a post on their facebook page a few days ago telling us they were starting to pay it to people who used direct debit , and sending letters out to those who don't.

I suspect we are the same council @riotlady , they put an update on their website on 29th of April?

I don't know why they're giving out money just now. It's pretty obvious that people will spend it before the really big bills start to come in in the autumn.

Those of you that received double the amount. Have they recovered the overpayment yet? My bank account looks healthier than it should 🤣
