£150 council tax rebate - have you had it yet?

My view is it all goes into the family pot of money. It's a bit like child benefit. All into the pot...I don't allocate specific amounts to the kids. I spend way more than child benefit on my DC over the course of a month. I view the energy payment the same. Energy will cost us a lot more than £150 this year so all into the family budget.

Ours has gone into the childcare fund. We're on a fixed energy contract until December so we've had no price hike yet.

Our council aren't doing a payment, it's going towards council tax so we've had a reduction spread over the year instead.

I've just checked my account and it looks like I've been sent two payments for some reason. Both £150 on different dates with Leeds city council in the reference. Not sure what happened there and whether I'll get a request to pay one of them back.

My council website says they hope to make them end of April/start of May. My mum's council says May for those paying by DD but it could be up until September 22.

Ours is supposedly anytime from May. Apparently it’s because they need to check everyone’s direct debit details match the name on their council tax account

I'm using mine for other bills. I do t need help with my energy. And don't want that loan. Unfortunately can't opt out of that one.

Haven't had ours yet, but on the council website it said it would be paid into bank accounts within 3 weeks of us paying April's council tax.
