@PigeonPigPie if you've moved you should be sorted!! And it sounds like you've got an expert in your DH! Don't rush, relax and enjoy it Smile I always feel like Robin Hood Grin and it's tax free!!!

If I gave you one tip it would be to stick to high profile events and try and blend in with regular punters and your accounts will last longer.

mogkat · 18/01/2022 19:13

Thank you for sharing this. I will be looking into this as I'd love to earn some extra pennies with some flexible projects I can do at home. Smile

CherryBlossom100 · 18/01/2022 19:29

I earned £7 on prolific today. Easily my best day since starting. Helps that my daughter is isolating so no work today.
But have had no luck with anything else. Any suggestions on other things to try? Branded surveys and swagbucks are a lot of effort for not much and I usually get booted from most surveys. TIA.

Nepenthe · 18/01/2022 22:01

I got signed up with Clickworker, which then demanded I set up with UHRS. So I've been doing some training / qualifying things, but I don't really get it, it says "You have 3 qualification attempts. There will be 10 HITs in the qualification test. The link below will begin training. You must complete 15 HITs before the training is completed." So, what's a HIT? Do I have to complete 10, or 15? I did absolutely loads of items on one of them, there was no count to say how many I'd completed, and I think it would have let me go on all night! Now it says I'm in the qualification phase. So after a couple of pretty tedious hours, I'm no wiser, and definitely no richer! And when I came out of UHRS, Clickworker said if I leave the task it won't be logged, but there was no other option!

Lovemusic33 · 19/01/2022 07:41

I managed to get quite few surveys with Branded surveys yesterday, made around £7 but I think it was a one off, not having as much luck this morning.

PigeonPigPie · 19/01/2022 08:44

Been accepted to a new project on Appen doing FB surveys! Can't access them yet but sitting tight for an email.

Selling a tablet I haven't used for about a year with CEX. Need to drop it off today to be assessed but all being well I should get £94!

Also if anyone is thinking of opening Monzo to use the 'pots' feature, I have a link where you can get £5 for opening the account and I will get £5 too Smile

YetAnotherRainyDay · 19/01/2022 11:54

@AnotherOne4

Has anyone had an auto generated invoice appear yet for Jan on Appen? None of my Jan FB surveys are showing yet Sad
No, nothing for me either. I assume they're very behind after the extended Xmas break they took.
firsttimemumca · 19/01/2022 16:22

@kpfragglesrock

Has anyone done any work for this company or heard of them? I mainly work for potato and app-- but I've signed up for/tried lots of other things over the last couple of years. £100 for a few recordings sounds too good to be true Hmm
hi all,

hoping to join this thread and get some advice please? i'm due with baby number 1 and only get smp so looking for some ways to boost income. i'm finding a little confusing as there are so many options!

can someone explain what potato is please? 🙈😂 there's a few words on the thread that are **'ed out so hard to work out what they are.

is it better to stick to one stream or sign up for a few? Which ones have people found the easiest to use?

Thanks xx

LemonJelly76 · 19/01/2022 19:23

@ruralwanderer

For those on Appen, look out for Cr** on your project list. Part 1 just took 5 minutes, part 2 tomorrow should be similar, and it pays over $14.
Hi I'm totally new to Appen and I did this project but u can't find out how to invoice for it, its not on the drop down menu in the invoice tab

I actually haven't a clue what I'm doing 😅 I've also done another project which involved uploading data from my Google Home device and I can't see how I'm meant to invoice for that one either.

I'd be really grateful for any help 🙏

LemonJelly76 · 19/01/2022 19:24

I, not 'u'. Blimmin cold fingers

AnotherOne4 · 19/01/2022 19:30

@YetAnotherRainyDay It's annoying they've not appeared yet. It's looking like that's all I have this month, so they better appear soon.

PigeonPigPie · 19/01/2022 19:34

@LemonJelly76 I'm new to Appen and also did Cr* and have no clue how to get paid! I think it says the invoice will appear automatically? But I don't actually know Blush

dizzydizzydizzy · 19/01/2022 19:37

This is good!

Whelmed · 19/01/2022 21:34

What is Potato please? I tried googling, just comes up with actual potatoes 🥔

Redcrayons · 19/01/2022 21:36

@LemonJelly76 ans @PigeonPigPie usually Appen projects auto invoice. On the menu there is a tab for invoices and it will appear there. They only upload invoices once a week.

Redcrayons · 19/01/2022 21:37

@Whelmed Crisp Thinking. It’s a bit of a thread joke to call it potatoes and say Weve been peeling spuds.

Whelmed · 19/01/2022 21:40

@Redcrayons thanks!

8dpwoah · 19/01/2022 23:22

No auto-invoice stuff on mine yet either, I only do the bigger FB survey now so will miss it if not there (kicked off one for sufficient data and the other the link never works!).

When I go into 'edit invoice' there is a list bottom left-ish that tells me which projects I'm on that will auto-upload and then the two self-reporting ones are in my drop-down box within the invoice. So if you're not sure if you need to do anything to generate payment from a particular project you can see which of those two places it appears.

PigeonPigPie · 20/01/2022 08:40

Thanks everyone! You're all so helpful to us newbies! Smile

I've had some luck with Branded Surveys and OhMyDosh, made about £25 yesterday and got two free Simply Cook boxes. Hoping the rest of my Vinted bits will sell, will start reducing prices tomorrow to get things shifting if nothing today. DH going to help walk me through my first matched bet on Saturday to make sure I don't make any mistakes!

WizardOfAus · 20/01/2022 09:51

Has anyone received their potato pay this month?

rhij86 · 20/01/2022 10:49

@WizardOfAus I had mine last Friday (but it was such a measly amount it was hardly worth it!)

rhij86 · 20/01/2022 10:52

@PigeonPigPie how much time do you need to spend on the two sites you mentioned there? do you find you get frozen out of a lot of surveys or is it not too bad?

PigeonPigPie · 20/01/2022 10:59

OMD I probably spent 2 hours max? It was mostly signing up for free trials so quite quick but you soon get through most of the no spend ones so I probably won't make much more.
BS I've found really good and haven't been frozen out of many. Attapoll I got frozen out constantly so gave up with that!

rhij86 · 20/01/2022 11:04

@PigeonPigPie thank you :)
