MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

@Twentytwentyhindsight

Well the penny (more likely launderette token) appears to have dropped for Broke re. futurestrade.io, now that the website and official FB page have disappeared in a puff of smoke.

After his demented robust defence of the 'CEO' in his now deleted live the other day, he has now set up a group for victims of the scam.

As well as calling on ActionFraud, the FCA, FBI, DEA, UN, ASDA and IKEA to bring the guilty party to justice, he has gone all flaming torches and pitchforks, vowing rough justice.

Hilariously, given all the crap he spouted about them when he was defending the scam, he is touting a Behind MLM article I fed them as the fruit of his own research...

He genuinely appears to personally responsible for over £60k of losses (his recruits' and their subsequent recruits'), so I'm not surprised he's a bit agitated.

If it wasn't for the real hardship all these losses will cause, it's almost comical watching them get their heads around the fact that what they were warned was a scam was, in fact, a scam, while other vultures circle, offering 'better' scams (and the are plenty asking for 'more info please').

They appear to be incapable of learning.

If Broke is responsible for losses in the region of £60k I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes. He might find himself at the bottom of the Mersey wearing heavy shoes at this rate. Will he come under the radar of the authorities or will he be seen as a victim rather than a perpetrator of the scam? When it comes to criminal investigations of these scams how far up, or down the pyramid does someone have to be to find themselves in serious trouble with the law?

Wouldn't venture a guess as to how far down the food chain any determination of perpetrator/victim is made in any investigation, if any does occur.
If it's a pure Ponzi, anyone who got more money out than they put in is technically a perpetrator, as that surplus would have come from the pockets of those who end up with less than they put in.
In Broke's personal case, most of his 'earnings' would have been on commission for his recruiting, rather than any fictive 'ROI'. Whether he made any money will depend on whether commission earnings were paid directly, or into his 'investment pot', and whether he was at some point able to withdraw any real money over and above his investment. If he did, that is money he has not just fooled people into losing, it is money he has directly taken out of their pockets...
I'm not sure the whole thing is totally over, there is a small chance some people might get some of their money back if it has not fully disappeared into a black hole...
I'm finding the rubbernecking quite informative though...

Yawn's maths is confusing me. She has 20 people who buy 2 bottles of aloe gloop. She says she makes £400 quid a month from these.

Am I missing something?? £10 profit per juice. Are you having a giraffe???

Spongebobette · 28/01/2022 20:11

Say you had those customers and made that profit but then tried to recruit them to be in your downline - they wouldn’t be your customers any more but presumably you’d make more money from them that way
It’s a bonkers ‘business’

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 28/01/2022 20:27

Not to mention boasting on social media about the £10 cut per carton that you're making Confused.

If every business I shopped with boasted about the money they were making on top of the original production costs I'd be a bit pissed off

eg. if my plumber was boasting on Facebook about the mark up he'd added onto the taps he'd sold me I wouldn't be using him again!

"I made an extra £50 by flogging these taps to Turnip for £90 when they were only £40 to begin with"

Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting · 28/01/2022 20:47

Ha. My colleague on mat leave who has 'partnered with' (sold her soul to) FL has been at work this week for the odd half day. She said she was seeing stars and felt really dizzy first thing. I innocently asked if she'd eaten. Oh yes I've had my shake she replied, would you like to order some?

Would I fuck.

Spongebobette · 30/01/2022 09:22

I think Bruv has quite a nasty streak

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 30/01/2022 09:45

Why @Spongebobette?

Spongebobette · 30/01/2022 09:53

A few things. His ‘pranks’ over the years are quite mean
He did a nasty post about a woman’s feet on the tube - she was clearly poor - very sneery
And today on Insta a mean filter on someone - just for a laugh of course but there’s a mean edge

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 30/01/2022 17:34

He's a dick isn't he

Twentytwentyhindsight · 30/01/2022 19:20

He's easily the most vacuous and least talented of the clan (although Castle's 'talents' are as a scammer).

Anything he has achieved has been by hanging onto Castle's coat-tails as she arranged the readymade downline FLP gave her to show that meteoric rise in the pyramid scheme was possible.

He would be destitute if he actually relied on his 'biznis' as he claims to. We all know he has a J.O.B. with FLP corporate to keep the façade going.

All he does, apart from bask in Castle's (rather tawdry) reflected glory, is pull idiotic 'pranks' a ten-year old would have grown out of finding funny and sneering at anyone he considers beneath him.

I also remember him describing a carriage of commuters as idiots because some were not wearing their face coverings properly while he was breaking every CoVid rule in the book travelling between London and Wales and meeting members of multiple households indoors.

He really is completely devoid of a reason to exist.

Tupperwarelid · 30/01/2022 19:32

It’s obvious his parents are funding his lifestyle. No way he could vs afford his apartment by flogging a few C9s and manning the Reception Desk at the FL London branch.

VolcanicEruption · 30/01/2022 19:43

I know many parents like to help children but I hope the seniors of the Castle clan don’t have caring needs in the future. Castle barely looks after her own offspring so she won’t cope with that.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 30/01/2022 20:04

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 30/01/2022 20:06

The top Irish bot who has also started dabbling in crypto has left FL completely. That will be a huge blow to Uber as I'm guessing she's populating her new team with her FL downline.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 30/01/2022 20:43

Wow! She was an Eagle Manager and obviously one of Uber's main money earners.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 30/01/2022 20:48

@dickiedavisthunderthighs was that Wonderwoman bot? If her CB cheque was anything to go by, being an Eagle Manager and Ireland's top bot was not all that...

Ladiva1971 · 30/01/2022 20:54

I forgot about WW Bot I know her first name but any clue to her last?

BotOff · 30/01/2022 21:51

Oh dear that was the Irish bot that Uber stacked under for the cheque last year. She must of struggled even more who to use to stack for the upcoming one! I know last time she was really having to the scrape the barrel and used someone else that had been in years with very little success, and who she would not of given even a single glance at in the glory days! However, I don’t doubt a hefty cheque will of been fiddled again this time with FLP knowing. The pyramid has to keep having those top dogs flashing the big cheque to lure more victims in. Ok she didn’t parade it last year (I believe murky reasons why) but I know of bots that saw it on a private Zoom she held.

Maybe not as it says they're "starting to make lots of money" not losing it 😆

spanfan · 31/01/2022 10:15

Castle did some training. She shared an jnsta story from a girl who was watching with her 1m old in a sling, and proud. That is SO sad.

Spongebobette · 31/01/2022 13:15

Oh that’s so depressing

fromdownwest · 31/01/2022 13:45

Harsh brutal truths from the amazing leader, consistency is key she declares. You have to turn up all the time...

Ironic for a woman who can not complete a week of her own 'challenges' and has had more resets than a 19 year old PC.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 31/01/2022 16:00

A quick look at Yawn's newest recruit shows she's an anti-vaxxer. Maybe she believes swigging over-priced aloe is the answer?

Old posts also show she was pro-Trump and pro-Farage.
