@SleepyMama2021 Here is the link for Crisp, seems like I put the wrong link on the 1st page of this thread.

Bunnyfuller · 07/07/2021 21:18

No problem,

It’s the Crisp link mainly, it takes me to a corporate website, like @SleepyMama2021

SleepyMama2021 · 07/07/2021 21:20

@Frenchdoors1 Thanks! Will get signed up!

Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:21

@SleepyMama2021 Can you contact Prolific to see what happened with your ID?

Ask CW if they can reinstate your account Smile

Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:23

@Bunnyfuller I've just posted the correct link for Crisp, it's just above your last post.

OP posts:
SleepyMama2021 · 07/07/2021 21:23

Yes I've contacted both. We will see what happens! I've signed up for everything and hoping for the best haha
I don't have loads of free time but hoping to be able to make a little on the side at least....

Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:26

@SleepyMama2021 Hope you get some positive news!

AnotherOne4 · 07/07/2021 21:31

@SleepyMama2021 love your approach - sign up for everything and hope for the best Grin That's more or less what I did. You have to have a go and everything and see what you like.

I also don't have much spare time, as I work ft. Might take you awhile to find the stuff you like, and what works around your schedule, but stick with it. Defo worth it when you find the good stuff Smile

Bunnyfuller · 07/07/2021 21:32

Signed up to Crisp, thanks

Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:33

@Bunnyfuller Have you done the test?

OP posts:
SleepyMama2021 · 07/07/2021 21:38

Just finished the Crisp test - got 19 so looks like I'm on the waiting list :)

StopCryingYourHeartOut · 07/07/2021 21:40

I've recently started back up doing prolific.

Started on it again last Thursday and have two bumper afternoons on the Thurs and Fri, making £30 on each afternoon.

Since then it's been not a lot.

I'm just wondering how some people get to the studies so fast. As I was just literally sat on my laptop refreshing the page, honestly every second for a period of about 5 mins, and a study flashed up, that was already full when I clicked on it immediately.
How are these people beating me to it when I was literally sat there staring at the screen refreshing every second?

I have the prolific browser add-on but it's useless. 90% of the time it doesn't alert to the studies at all. Or it alerts like a solid 5 minutes later than when the study actually appeared.

Well done. I joined in January, and not heard a peep out of them yet. So don't hold your breath lol
Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:42

@SleepyMama2021 Brilliant well done! There could be a wait though, it's often mentioned on here , but some hear quicker before others so don't get despondent.
Depends when and which areas I think when they call for people.

@AnotherOne4 We almost posted a similar response but I was faffing about trying to get my wording right without sounding gloomy lol.

Whereas you put it in a nutshell lol.

AnotherOne4 · 07/07/2021 21:46

@Frenchdoors1 I'm surprised my replies make any sense at all. I'm too busy watching footie!

@StopCryingYourHeartOut to be honest, I think Prolific is just about luck. Newbies seem to get beginners luck, and have alot of surveys the first day or two. Then they dry up.
I think surveys are matched to your profile criteria. But so many people sign up, surveys do go quick. I'm always signed in, but I can go days without any, espcially at wkds.

I could have written your post lol.

When I haven't got much to do I'll keep checking and they are absolutely flying out the window, I've no idea how they get snapped up so quickly.

I often wonder if it's to do with Internet speed, not that it's slow but someone could get one by a millisecond before you...

@AnotherOne4 Haha, I'm NOT watching football that's why I'm trying to help out on here tonight lol. (I find it too tense anyway lol)
Trying being the operative word as I still messed up, wrong links and failed bolds...

OP posts:
Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 21:54

And yes at what @AnotherOne4 just posted...they depend on your criteria as to which ones you'll get.

OP posts:
AnotherOne4 · 07/07/2021 21:55

Yeah, but you're correcting your boo boos, so it's all good Smile

Footie just went into extra time. It's nearly bedtime....and I have to stay up and watch now.

AnotherOne4 · 07/07/2021 21:55

^^That was for you @Frenchdoors1 lol. (Now I'm at it!)

Frenchdoors1 · 07/07/2021 22:00

@AnotherOne4 Haha

Boo boos Grin

Ooh hope it doesn't turn into penalties...I hate those too

Anyone else been accepted on Ek' project on app?

Frenchdoors1 · 08/07/2021 09:18

@TheLolaMontez I only applied for that a few days ago myself but I haven't heard anything else though.

I’m not on Appn but I’m on the Amr equivalent on LB and yesterday, I bought 11 out of the 15 products I had.
2 were skips as the page didn’t load and 2 were over the price limit.
I got a tooth whitening kit, a pet cremation urn 😔, a personalised blanket, a dress and a top from Chinese sites , a garden trellis, a men's trainers from a British site so I bought in DH's size, a USB for an android phone, a small luggage, a cheap looking pyjama set and a lint roller. I normally don’t return things but I might return the tooth whitening kit as it’s £60 and they have a decent return policy
