I'm a newbie, and I can't thank you all enough for this thread! I started a week or so ago on qmee, prolific, and appen and have made £100 across them (although prolific has now been empty for me since). I'm now also doing transcription for rev and 2 others (not sure if I'm allowed to name them or not?) but only started on Wednesday so fingers crossed I do well. Honestly, all your info and suggestions has really got me out of a hole, I'm so grateful!

On another note - I think I'm ready to send off my Ap invoice, it looks like everything has gone on there.

@Wooolffff, I have been invited to take the Yn exam. I've not had time to read the guidelines yet but I notice it is 174 pages! 🤔. I hear it is hard but I will try as I know my other Appen project will probably be over by the end of July 😢 I also now do LB but it is hard and I am slow and I think in May I only managed £100. I have no idea when I will find the time to study for the Yn exam though. I am going to try and do SD this weekend and Monday and Tuesday and hopefully free up Thursday and Friday to study. Can't remember when my exam date is. Must check. k.

Had my feedback from the first 2 Rev tasks; a 4 and a 5 on both of them dammit!! I can see the mistakes now of course but have a horrid sinking feeling that I am going to be useless at something that I actually sort of do already professionally (I work in an academic dept) and enjoy :( :( Boohoo!! I will keep going very carefully and keep trying though. So blooming nerve-wracking as well. Tips from successful revvers very happily received. I have made the princely sum of $10 this week. :( Gawd. Let's hope this is more of a long game lol...

@AnotherOne4, no me neither! Did it with LB and it was hardcore! God knows when I'll fit it in. Got to try though! 😉

@Frenchdoors1, give it a go. You've got nowt to lose and even if we don't pass it, the way I look at it is that it's practice for the next one which might be even better. Give it a whirl. You know you want to really! 😘

@Baby89, when you submit your invoice and it is approved, they will add the amounts of the items purchased.

Aw, thank you! I just had an email to say I was falling short of standards (of course!) so I am just hoping to somehow retrieve those grades to a more acceptable 5/5!! It feels...impossible but it just can't be lol!

@flloyd a 4 is fine to get when you have a cushion of grades that are a 5. But if you don’t have many grades, a 4 can knock your metrics down to warning category. I’d try and take several short, easy jobs that may be lower pay but if you at least know you can smash them out and get 5s then it gives you some cushion for any lower grades.

Happy July everyone! I only managed 2 weeks of work in June as my little girl arrived on the 16th and haven’t had time to do anything since then. I think I earned about $500 on Rev and $800 on Appen though. Don’t think July will be particularly productive for me either!

Oh, did anyone get an invite for another Malta project? Cwood?

Hello everyone, I've been kicked off my 1 hour a day App job as they have sufficient data apparently. So I'm back to look for other options to replace that money! Have ignored everything else for ages due to lack of time but need to get back into it & see what other projects there are. :)

Grrr I never get invited to these projects. I would love another M**ta project.
