Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

Anyone got an email regarding B**e? Its asking users to do another unpaid qualifying/test session

0htooooodles · 04/05/2021 22:20

@Gatekeeper Yep, I got it. Cheek really! Envy

Buster27 · 04/05/2021 22:28

@Gatekeeper yep Hmm I won't be bothering.

peabrainer · 04/05/2021 22:39

Sorry another beginner's question for Am**... realising how much easier it would have been to do the reimbursements as I went alongConfused. Where it asks me to upload data for the reimbursement- is it asking for a screenshot of my emailed receipt? And do I have to convert it to a PDF? Thank you in advance! I'm re-reading the guidelines and can't find what this is.

whysotriggered · 04/05/2021 23:12

@Gatekeeper I think it is really odd. I would understand an availability survey but another qualifying test and no guarantee of work? I will sleep on it but might be better to spend that time working slowly on Crisp, lol

whysotriggered · 04/05/2021 23:17

@peabrainer, a screenshot of the receipt is fine. If you press the cloud image, it should lead you to your files to select the correct one. Once you do this, press upload which will produce a URL that you copy and paste onto 3. Very convoluted.

peabrainer · 04/05/2021 23:20

Ok I'm being really thick re Am**: so I can take a screenshot of the confirmation email but this doesn't show all the info so I have to take 2 photos to get all the info but then the reimbursement form seems to say I can only upload one photo. Arghhhh. Any tips please

peabrainer · 04/05/2021 23:26

Thank you so much - but my screenshots of the receipt are 2 files to fit in all the info- how do you manage that?

Catatemyhomework · 04/05/2021 23:27

@MollysMum09, the LB exam is horrendous. I failed it first time and just passed it this week. It has taken me hours and hours to read and do the exam. The good thing is that you can have the guidelines in front of you the whole time. I double checked every answer with guidelines. Seems like it's not over yet as they have now sent me another exam in which I have to achieve 100%. Good luck with it. My motivation is at that many on here say that it is really good to get onto, a steady and reliable, long-term source of income. That's exactly what I need!

Catatemyhomework · 04/05/2021 23:28

I too got link for B**e exam. Not sure I can be arsed. I might but it's a cheek. We only just sat an exam in it Hmm

ZetaPuppis · 04/05/2021 23:33

That lb exam is a lot of work. I failed the first time as I didn’t really prepare myself and didn’t realise how long it would take. Don’t be like me and start it the night before the deadline Hmm
I failed, so they gave me another chance. I worked steadily, double checked everything and the whole thing crashed when I only had 3 more questions to submit.
That was depressing.
I had to do the whole thing all over again.

Dancingdolphins · 05/05/2021 01:43

@peabrainer click print then save to pdf For your receipts.

Gatekeeper · 05/05/2021 06:16

Just woken to an email from App sent in the middle of the night saying B**e now closed so have missed my chance anyway. Pah!

ruralwanderer · 05/05/2021 06:58

Just woken up to emails about Bane and wondering if they just don't want UK raters on the project anymore, given they issued and closed the quiz overnight?!

Genius!!! Thank you sooo much

Rad2016 · 05/05/2021 07:55

Seriously B*ne? Wth

whysotriggered · 05/05/2021 07:59

Just got email to say Bane quiz is closed now!!!

@peabrainer yep only one file can be uploaded. I've never had an issue with just sending the screenshot of confirmation

MollysMum09 · 05/05/2021 09:03

@Catatemyhomework @ZetaPuppis ideally more than 7 days between receiving everything and completing the exam (which itself can take 6 hours!!) would be ideal. I can't just drop everything else and do this solidly for days on end. I skimmed through the guidelines yesterday, I'll do some more today, I can put some time in at the weekend but to get it all done I reckon I need to be starting the exam by Sunday...

Congratulations on passing though, I can see it is no easy task. Regular and long term work would be perfect though, so I really need to try.

Catatemyhomework · 05/05/2021 09:19

MollysMum09, I read through the guidelines once initially and made notes. I then rushed the exam across 2 days and failed. Made it to 20 out of 40. Then, when I re-sat it, I did a load of sample questions. Decided it was time to start the exam or I would run out of time. Spent all weekend on it pretty much and ended up doing 41 questions so assumed I'd probably passed . Then got confirmatory email and lots of onboarding information which I haven't had a chance to read yet. I agree it's a lot to take in with not much time, but if you don't get it first time, by the second time more of it is consolidated in your head if that's any consolation!

Good place to start is the beginning of the thread Grin without trying to be sarcastic haha, that’s a good place to start. I’ve been doing this about six months now and it’s only just really staring to pay off. Have patience and the jobs do come to you. Apply for everything and see what you like:are good at. Prolific and QMee are good strays, so is Appen.
AnotherOne4 · 05/05/2021 11:56

Norked · 05/05/2021 12:06

@AnotherOne4 Yes I was a bit premature posting sorry about that! I went back to the previous thread and jotted down some sites. I've signed up for utest and crispthinking - on the waiting list. Will also sign up to ones you suggested thank you!

AnotherOne4 · 05/05/2021 12:09
