Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

Has anyone here used Swagbucks?

CocoPrivileges · 09/05/2021 13:14

Just had a look @AnotherOne4! A 1.5 hour bonus if you manage to do 25 hours Shock that's quite motivating! Though I doubt I'll manage more than 20 hours...

Catatemyhomework · 09/05/2021 13:17

I haven't done any Suth*and yet this weekend. Was out yesterday and today I did second LB exam. Plus like others on here I find it a little dull. Will try and do a couple of hours tonight and 4 hours everyday Monday to Friday next week. Once I have to do 20 hours for LB I'll be really stressed. Never thought I'd have too much work to do! 🤔

AnotherOne4 · 09/05/2021 13:19

@CocoPrivileges haha it's tempting isn't it?
I'll only manage it if I put in a massive effort today. I've done two hours so far, and already bored.
Maybe we can all motivate each other....

AnotherOne4 · 09/05/2021 13:21

It's a good problem to have @allCatatemyhomework Back in April we were all moaning about the lack of work lol

Catatemyhomework · 09/05/2021 13:36

@AnotherOne4, indeed. Famine or feast!

NekoShiro · 09/05/2021 13:53

I use swagbucks, mostly to play the mahjong game for a couple of points and a survey here or there but they always pay out everything just takes a while, I had one issue of a cash back offer not tracking right and they fixed it, you've just gotta read the small print cus you have to wait so many weeks and then only have a short window to query it.

StreetLightsHoney · 09/05/2021 13:56

@NekoShiro Ahh okay thank you Smile It seems a little complicated as their FAQ seems to say they don’t pay cash yet also says that they do pay cash via PayPal Confused

And I’m not sure how much each swagbuck is worth, so if you have 100 SB how that translates into pounds.

MrsWombat · 09/05/2021 15:19

I was hoping to do a couple of hours of Suth* this afternoon but it seems to be empty. Envy

CocoPrivileges · 09/05/2021 15:59

Some jobs on Suth* now but very stop and start - frustrating Angry

Catatemyhomework · 09/05/2021 16:17

I managed 1 hour on Suth* today. Will try and get one more in tonight but will carry on next week. Hope it doesn't finish!

ZetaPuppis · 09/05/2021 16:43

@lynsey91 did you find out? I’d be interested too. Have done zero this month so far.

NekoShiro · 09/05/2021 17:04

There's a reward of £10 PayPal for 1400SB, I'm unsure if PayPal cash means it restricted funds once it hits your PayPal account but tbh a lot of places will accept PayPal as payment online worst case. 100sb is roughly 70p I think.

swiftt · 09/05/2021 18:12

@Grownupkid about a week from applying to being able to get started!

StreetLightsHoney · 09/05/2021 18:41

Thank you @NekoShiro Smile

Would anyone be able to let me know what this Suth is that everyone is talking about please? Grin I have read the entirety of this thread and the April one but am still unsure.

homesickinscotland · 09/05/2021 18:50

@lynsey91

How do you get on to bespoke shifts on potato?

I assume you have to be invited but wonder what their criteria is. Yesterday they were crying out for people to do some bespoke shifts.

I have been doing it a year now and only 1 small mistake so keep hoping I might get to do some

yeah I was wondering about this too - seems a lot of content is moving over there and that's why it's so slow for the rest of us! I'm really struggling to make much per hour on it right now.
AnotherOne4 · 09/05/2021 18:52

@StreetLightsHoney

Thank you *@NekoShiro* Smile

It's a project/job on Appen. For a few of us it's our first long term project, and we're quite excited about it Smile
StreetLightsHoney · 09/05/2021 19:33

Thank you @AnotherOne4 Smile I have signed up to Appen but of course am only on level 1 at the moment.

AnotherOne4 · 09/05/2021 19:41

Are you on Appen Connect? (because you mentioned 'level 1' it sounds like you are on the wrong site)
Norked · 09/05/2021 19:46

How do you see what level you are on, on Appen? I've read you have to upload a CV too but can't see anything about that on there? Have to say the website is really awful and confusing Confused

Gatekeeper · 09/05/2021 19:53

Anyone on AdRc on app? Not sure if I am on the right project as it looks like the description of the S**d one but I wasn't picked for that. Bit confused

ruralwanderer · 09/05/2021 19:56

@lynsey91 and @homesickinscotland, if either of you find out how to access Bespoke shifts, please do share! I'm another one that would be very interested.

superpinkgirl · 09/05/2021 20:09

@Gatekeeper, I have been accepted for AdRc but have yet to receive SRT access, it's been about a week now. I didn't get the option to apply for Sd. Have you actually started work on AdRc yet?

Gem176 · 09/05/2021 20:27

Bookmarking for later.

Bumzoo · 09/05/2021 21:02

You get invited on to bespoke shifts by one of the top managers. They don't recruit often. It pays £10 per hour.

Moaning on slack won't get you shifts so don't try that Grin
