Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Is the S**land podcast in the fb workplace group thingy? I could use some more training. I tried clicking on the "FB Training" link in the srt but... it takes to something I don't have a login for. Ugh.

I just did the quiz and got 5/11 and it said I passed

(I knew I got some wrong as the answer options baffled me to start with, as they aren't the same as the real job, and I was rushing/not paying attention. Not trying to make it sound like I did better then the results reflect haha )

But if I can 'pass' with only 5/11 that makes me think there is a fair bit of room for error.

The pass mark was 1%. It was more of a training exercise, I think.

I have just passed too @AnotherOne4. I could have wrote your post too, that's what I was like in the beginning and afterwards.
Not sure i can do the project now though as you all had trouble at the beginning setting it up, and what is fb, if it is Facebook then I'm not on FB.
Doing the invoice for the hours seems a bit difficult 😕

Might be worth getting a facebook account @Frenchdoors1. I've had one for years, but I never post/comment/or do anything on it.

How's everyone doing on S'l*d today? I've done just over four hours, I determined to get to 6. It'll ease the pressure for the rest of the week then.

Thank you for the info re the S*d quiz, it helped me understand a bit more (I think!), done 5 hours today but had enough now. Hope to do the same tomorrow - is the minimum we have to do 20 hours?

Potato getting busy people

I've done 4.5 hours on s***ld today and have had enough for tonight! I don't think I'll get paid all the hours I've done based on my user metrics which are about two hours behind. I wonder how they reconcile that against the invoices?

I've done 2.5 hours today and was hoping to get to 4. Life got in the way in a BIG way, but hopefully tomorrow...
I admit, I signed up thinking this was a min 15hr/week commitment, not 20/hr week which could be really difficult, but I'll see what I can do. It would be GREAT to have the income, so that should motivate me when I struggle to get it done!

If it's Sd you mean @Frenchdoors1 you don't need a Facebook account.

Good luck to everyone doing it this week...I'm aiming for 20 hours - the fear of not being paid for some technicality does hang over me a bit, but I'm just going for it and hoping for the best. The podcast suggests the categorisation is pretty subjective.

I did zero Sth yesterday as I was focusing on smashing through some Rev to hit $400 for the week. Think I’m going to aim for 4 hours a day Monday to Friday for Sth. I find it way too boring to do any more! It’s nice to see the invoice total racking up though.

@swiftt do you by any chance remember how long it took to get approved by Rev?

How do you get on to bespoke shifts on potato?

I assume you have to be invited but wonder what their criteria is. Yesterday they were crying out for people to do some bespoke shifts.

Lol @swiftt, I find it boring too. I do ten minutes and if feels like an hour. Don't know how people are managing to do 6+ hours a day!
Work is pretty slow on there today.

I did two hours of S**d yesterday and the same today to take the pressure off during the week! It is bloody boring but I force myself to read some of the entries just so I'm not skipping through them too quickly. I've had some quite interesting ones about demons and ghost ships! No problems with work flow so far today.

Work flow on S'd was stop/go a little first thing this morning, but seems ok now.
Did you read the announcements tab, stating you can do more hours and get the bonus.
