how on earth did it only take 10 minutes????? I just got timed out. 20 questions each with ten websites to check so over 200 websites

@Gatekeeper I'd say it took me around 20 minutes. I opened all the websites (as you have to) but tbh didn't look at them all and if I did it was generally just a quick look. I also had a couple if inappropriate ones so they obviously only took a couple of seconds.
I'm not that fussed if I get the work as have a few other things just now anyway so wasn't worth me investing more time/effort than that.

Same here, I opened the websites but didn't look at them. I think Max was 15 mins for me maybe not up to. I probably wouldn't get through but that's how i've been doing the project all this time. Oh well we just have to wait and see

I haven't attempted Bane test yet either. I will leave it till tomorrow I think as tired today. Hope I pass but if not it wasn't meant to be.

When did the Ap dashboard change? I love that it's alphabetical but I find it hard to see projects clearly. Did B test. I think you might be right, just a way to get free work. Og is giving me grief, saying I haven't worked last week, when I worked every day. No reply to support email. No replay to the email about being taken off the other project due to quality (that I'd never worked on).

TeemAI seem to be recruiting again. I know the work is sporadic but I've had a few good wee projects with them.

The LB project I got accepted for has had no work this week so I've managed an hours work in 3 weeks as there's no tasks available.

Had an easy month as I had hospital stuff but back at it next month...how are we even at the end of Jan?

Anyone else have the appen page glitch?

@seizethecuttlefish Yes I like that's it's alphabetical too, and that you can filter to find projects. Missing the blue work this/green qualify buttons though!

I've had a quieter month than intended but feel like I've gotten motivated again over the last few days so hoping for a productive February! Need to get some potato peeling done this weekend first though.

@buster27 , the page where I have my projects is shaking if that's the right word - I can't press on it? Anyone doing the New**h project on appen, how it like. I also had another projects but since page shaking I can't see what it is.

Not sure I'll carry on with it though if they keep all 20 on one page like that as it made me very tense concentrating on not closing the project page when closing the links (do this all the time when I'm working on the project!).

Yes, same here with the inappropriate ones.

It was quite tense and you had to keep your eye on the time.
I too hope they aren't like this for future work.

Well I've just done Bane test. Was quite stressful. Timed out once and then did again and then couldn't remember what I'd selected first time! I had a couple I marked inappropriate. One was porn so was definitely but one was swingers. Not sure as I know it's a thing but there were a couple of porn sites listed so marked as inappropriate. Oh well if it's meant to be I'll pass and if not, so be it.

I don't like the 20 to a page, far too much. I struggled to keep to the time and there were a couple of inappropriate ones too, which was lucky. I thought it would never end.

Just received another of my Am purchases. It's so bad I've sent a complaint. Looks absolutely nothing like the image and for the cost you'd expect something semi decent but it's clearly a $1 Chinese knockoff.

@seizethecuttlefish that's my reservation about doing Am** it gives money to these rubbish sellers. They also never follow their published refund policy but there's no way to feed back on that and it would be quite useful info to the client. I had three really rubbish products this month.

@seizethecuttlefish @bookgirl1982 perhaps I've been lucky, I got something that I thought was nothing, like the image, it was a Chinese retailer and I got a full refund minus the delivery fee, no hassle and I don't have to send it back, all done through email.

I don't mind it. Had a couple of rubbish things but this was really bad. I'm due a refund so I need to chase that but I'd definitely do it again.

I received one of my purchases yesterday; no resemblance to the one I bought in any shape or form so went straight on the warpath. They capitulated immediately and gave me a full refund including postage which I was relieved about.

@seizethecuttlefish Me too, despite my initial concerns when I started this project. I do enjoy it and hope I get to do it for as long as possible. I noted someone on the chat mentioned they had done it for over a year!

Hello, can anyone advise me on this issue, my appen page is glitching i have attatched what is happening.

Argh I just completed the Crisp test and got 18 out of 20 and the pass is 19 to be added to the list.

Can I do it again or do I stand a good chance of still getting on the list. It says I won't be added unless I got 19 and now I don't know what to do! Don't want to do it again if it will make me look bad

It's weird as I received an email saying I'd been added to the list and at the end of the test is said I'd been added to the list.

Looks like the double piece rate may not happen in January after all. Just saw their rep in the chat say that she is going to "find out when the double rate is supposed to take effect". I'll be a bit miffed if we don't get it as they clearly stated in the guidelines that we would be getting double. We'll see what they say...

I have lost the announcements section and don't know when to submit my invoice. 🙈
