@unicornpoopoop

Thanks for your reply! You're right, I don't hear much about Lionbridge but when I search elsewhere on the Internet, it looks like it's hard to pass the initial test but then the work is more consistent.
So if I applied to it and then just didn't choose projects similar to my Appen ones, it would be okay?

TheSilentStars · 03/12/2020 08:42

@ZetaPuppis

Congrats to all passing Crisp. I’m going to try to do more this month. Last month was a bit rubbish. I just ended up with more in my actual job so didn’t have the time.
I might get a wrist slap from Crisp because I only did about 600 in the whole month. I'm going to try and do loads more this month as I want to stay!
ZetaPuppis · 03/12/2020 09:03

@TheSilentStars did you let them know?

TheSilentStars · 03/12/2020 09:08

No. I just didn't get round to it. Will I be booted? I'm clicking like a mad thing now to make up.

seizethecuttlefish · 03/12/2020 09:11

@TheSilentStars drop them an email and let them know. I think the new rules are that they can remove you for not meeting the requirements but I have no idea if they do.

Hello everyone,

Hope you're all doing ok. Last month I really didn't do well with potato, the children had a terrible time with sleep and so did I! So far this month they have been better so I have been able to get up earlier and do an hour or two before they are up. I'm hoping this continues as I am liking the new routine. This morning the eldest gremlin got up very early, I managed to keep her quiet for a bit with Peppa Pig so still got in an hours crisping! Hallelujah.

Still on my long term App project, so that is a nice steady income. I've been catching quite a few Prolific studies too. Feeling more positive this month. Would really like to earn over £100 on potato. So far I'm on track for that as I've managed around £10 per day so far according to the dashboard. Keep fingers crossed for a good month and much more sleep!!

TheLolaMontez · 03/12/2020 09:28

Oh and also sold an item on my Etsy store for £35 yesterday 🎉 that was nice to wake up to 😁

TheSilentStars · 03/12/2020 09:38

Excellent Lola!
Thanks @seizethecuttlefish, I'll do that today.

seizethecuttlefish · 03/12/2020 10:08

@TheLolaMontez brilliant.

@Ilovefood1 yeah I've not been able to find a definite answer but on lionbridge I am a search engine evaluator and there's a chance you could end up working for the same client through appen so anything that sounds similar job description wise, I just don't apply for just in case. I don't want to get booted off both.

When I applied it asked if I worked for any other similar companies and I said no because I hadn't been accepted at that point.

The exam was a bit long winded but now I've passed I can do up to 20 hours a week with lionbridge. I managed a lot more hours during lockdown when the kids were off school but now I've got to fit my normal job and school runs in to the day, there's not always tasks available when I'm available which is a shame. But I've been with them about 6 months now and still usually manage at least 10 hours a week.

I know appen is very popular on here and it seems lionbridge isn't so maybe I'm missing something but for me it's worked out well and I enjoy the work too

conversesneakers · 03/12/2020 11:28

.

whysotriggered · 03/12/2020 11:49

@seizethecuttlefish I also recently did the M exam on App and haven't heard back yet but I am assuming it's because of the final q which I suspect has to be reviewed. I hope I am right as yes it was quite interesting,

I am going to attempt to do the C test soon too but after reading the training, I don't think it is something I will spend too much time working on as I think it could really depress me!

Boobahs · 03/12/2020 15:18

I've not been here for months but was doing the SME rating work for Lionbridge, but I've been kicked off this morning Confused I fell asleep last night half way through rating, and only managed to do 4 days instead of 5 last week so I think they've finished me although my year wasn't up until Feb Blush

Has anyone else been "put on the reserve list" but then been reinstated within their 12 months?

whysotriggered · 03/12/2020 16:04

I have heard quite a few people on a different forum saying they have been put on reserve. I don't think it was because you did 4 out of 5 days, it just seems to be something they are doing. As yet no one has mentioned they have been reinstated.

Catatemyhomework · 03/12/2020 17:49

Anyone doing the calls on Neevo?
Been logged on an hour now this evening and there's 0 agents so think I'll try again tomorrow.

lannister · 03/12/2020 18:28

Any crispers booking shifts that have been posted for all this evening?

MrsWombat · 03/12/2020 18:36

@lannister No, because I need to around for the kid's bedtime and homework and can't commit to a full hour.

Buster27 · 03/12/2020 19:27

@lannister I booked a couple Smile

0htooooodles · 03/12/2020 19:35

@Boobahs I have! I was taken off October and kept on the wait list. They reinstated me this month, although my year is up in Jan.

lannister · 03/12/2020 19:40

I've booked one, hopefully it will be a nice little earner :)

Fizbo · 03/12/2020 19:45

Hi did we still get the surges if we do a shift?

Boobahs · 03/12/2020 20:09

Ah, thank you. I was so worried that I've ballsed it up, although I'm gutted that I've lost that money now. I need to find something else as soon as possible!

Oh, that's good news for you! Just on time for Christmas! I was so worried that I'd mucked it up, gutted about losing the money though, it was an easy £10 a day, although they did reduce the daily fee. I need to find something else soon!

Snowballs1 · 03/12/2020 20:16

I was wondering that as well. Also how do we get paid for the spreadsheets that were given out before? Does it get added to the days total in the dashboard, I think that has been done on mine.

On last month's thread there was some discussion about signing in problems due to not receiving the code, this happens to me frequently (so I won't be applying for any shifts) I don't have a smartphone so can't use the app method, but could get an old one to use. Main problem is I don't seem to have saved the recovery codes that you need to change the device that you use to login, if I asked them to reset my account I don't think that would allow me to change the phone number? I don't want to ask them as I will have to admit I don't have the recovery codes!

Snowballs1 · 03/12/2020 20:20

I was replying to Fizbo by the way, about potato. I currently use my landline number to log in, so will need to change the phone number/device to be able to log in with the app notication instead.
