Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

PS I think they are reading these threads as the allude to the fact that Mr Creepy is being ‘attacked’

How do those two live with such cognitive dissonance? Is it purely down to NLP, gaslighting and brainwashing? And why does Mr Homeschool target women for his unregulated therapies? Is it because he knows that they’re more likely to get sucked into MLMs than men and are a fresh source of blood for the pair of them to feed off?

JaniceBattersby · 14/05/2020 00:16

I watched Homeschool’s live.

On a human level I feel very sorry for her. She doesn’t seem like a particularly nasty person and going bankrupt, especially with kids to consider, must have been really difficult. It does seem like Forever totally shafted those who were very reliant on the income.

On the other hand, she’s claiming to be transparent and yet spent literally years trying to recruit people to a scheme that she knew full well was no longer profitable for most, a scheme that had sent her bankrupt. She must surely be aware that MLMs are all the same. If someone else can change your profit margins so swiftly and devastatingly that they kill your business then how can you possibly claim to be an independent ‘business owner’? It’s disingenuous.

I don’t believe that she’s naive and that she doesn’t see all this. She may have, at one point been blind to it all, but she’s seen it all now for what it is and yet she still tries to recruit women into it. That’s unforgivable.

BSintolerant · 14/05/2020 00:29

Homeschool’s damage limitation video is fascinating. The content itself is utterly unconvincing. What is really interesting is Mr Creepy’s body language. He’s leaking discomfort and dishonesty from every pore. Homeschool appears to be totally dominated and brainwashed by him. They’re perfect for each other!

Teddy1970 · 14/05/2020 01:27

Homeschool doesn't live that far from me, probably about 15 miles or so but that house they're renting costs over £2000 a month, that's a fair bit of dosh, it does have a swimming pool I believe..

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 07:44

BS I've listened to the live and she mentions early on about being in abusive relationships.

She's in one now.

He is sitting next to her 'supporting' her but really manipulating her. She is allowing this and is actually dependent on his validating comments that are supporting her as she reads her 'script' (that he probably devised, sanctioned and directed).

We know just how devious, dangerous and manipulative he is due to @YouokHun 's disturbing experience as a female who took the survey to find out whether they were suffering self-esteem issues. Despite scoring very high on the questionnaire, he is relentlessly trying to persuade her she needs his programme.

Very worrying, actually. All women who take part in this questionnaire are being pressurised too, WTF!

*@YouokHun, how did you feel every time you received an email from him attempting to reel you in an dominate you? How would it feel to be under the spell of such a person in your own home; being guided and controlled. She is not only a victim of FL but him. She is twice fuckd.

Why is he sitting next to her virtually holding her hand? This is her MLM business that she is talking about.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 07:49

@Teddy1970 I guess that normal people buy or rent a home that they can afford but MLM people have to project 'success' at any cost so it makes sense to rent a grand home with pool and to lease the impressive cars to go with the successful lifestyle. All on the proviso that in future, they will attract a downline to fund this lifestyle. A pyramiddy-shaped scheme, in other words.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:00

She is talking about the time that at a week's notice FL changed the goalposts on Case Credits; taking their value from 2 to just over 1 for each sign-up, and explaining just how damaging this was financially for everyone.

She also mentions that certain people within FL will not be happy that she is broadcasting this information to her followers.

How interesting that she has mentioned that this decision was reversed this January though, so people signing up after that won't be affected...until they take it away again at a week's notice, that is.

Independent Business Owners? Really, are you sure? Doesn't read like that to me. VDRSR - Vulnerable Dependent Recruitment/Sales Reps, more like.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:06

Quote from live: "What ended up happening was that people went back to work".

But still lied and deceived publicly, projecting the 'we don't have J.O.B's (Just Over Broke) we are successful Independent Business Owners who, work-from-home in pockets of our time' fantasy in order to recruit, recruit, recruit and make money of their downline victims.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:24

She is talking about how she is being attacked on her profile for lying to people about her real financial position, but she did lie to people for years! She did! She projected financial success to attract recruits to make money off of! When she was in dire financial straits. *That is lying, deceiving, conniving behaviour.

She states that she did not hide the bankruptcy, but she did! She only came clean when she had no choice, then states that she would've told everyone at the right time. The right time would have been when it happened, love.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/05/2020 08:32

Don't the terms of the bankruptcy state that she has to inform anyone she enters into business with? Did she inform each of the numerous people she is bragging about recruiting to her new pyramid scheme when she was signing them up? Obviously not. That would have been the right time, both legally and morally.

BSintolerant · 14/05/2020 08:35

Well said @GoldenKelpie. Mr Creepy’s attempt to be conciliatory towards those of us who are anti-MLM was laughable when he asked what would be the sense in recruiting vulnerable women. It’s perfectly obvious to those of us here that recruiting anyone into an MLM, vulnerable or otherwise, is purely to get money out of them.

I’m not convinced that Homeschool was going to tell everyone about being bankrupt either, otherwise she’d have done it sooner! What a fibber! She says it’s public knowledge so it’s out there anyway. Yes, but she kept quiet about it so she could continue her pretence of looking like a successful businesswoman. Who in their right mind would trust a bankrupt to give them business advice, even though she thinks she’s now stronger than ever?

She could’ve done with some PR advice rather than being told what to do by Mr Creepy. Anyone with a bit of savvy would have allowed those comments on FB about her bankruptcy to remain, and would only have talked about it to those who asked questions. As Homeschool says, details of her bankruptcy are in the public domain.

Her video has seriously backfired on them both. As I’ve said above, their body language is the only thing that’s telling the true story.

How many successful business owners, who are bankrupt, go on Facebook with their husbands to explain why they lied about their financial fuck ups? It’s obvious Homeschool has told her what to say. One day she’ll realise what sort of relationship she’s in.

Duvetday8 · 14/05/2020 08:37

The one thing that stood out for me in the live was the very strange dynamic between the two. She gets visibly upset and he is sat there without a hint of emotion. He is in control of what she says and she looks to him for reassurance that she is saying the right thing. There whole dynamic is very scary and I do worry for her. Whatever her preying activities on women are she looks very vunerable in her relationship

Duvetday8 · 14/05/2020 08:38

And also why does he take no responsibility for the bankruptcy, I'm sure he was over spending as well but the video is all about the errors she made while he sits there completely detracted from the situation

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:38

Interesting that Homeschool's DS acknowledges that people who are shining a light on this insideous, exploitative industry are doing so with the best intentions but that somehow this "backfires on them". How, exactly?

She goes on to point out that he had been attacked "because you are my husband". No, it is because he is a devious, manipulative individual who is exploiting people (mainly women) with alledged low-self-esteem and even women with high self-esteem, as @YouokHun experienced further up this thread.

Quote: "If you play safe you are never going to achieve your dreams". Unfortunately, with MLM business model, you will never achieve your dreams, only those of your upline's, upline's, upline's upline.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:41

@Twentytwentyhindsight, yes indeed. That has been mentioned further up the thread too. She has behaved badly about this and has been found out.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:43

@BSintolerant, I do hope it backfires on them. I haven't read any of the comments (there are a lot) to see how many are positive. Although she would delete the negs, obvs.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:44

@Duvetday8, yes, it is worrying. She is a fly caught in a spider's snare I think.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:45

Yes indeed, @Duvetday8, he is detached, generally. Playing at emotion but there is nothing behind the eyes.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 08:50

Quote: "There is no shame in going bankrupt". I agree, and all the celebrities they mentioned didn't lie and deceive in order to sign up vulnerable women into their MLM, either. You did that.

You signed people up to a morally reprehensible MLM business model that they had no chance of making a living out of, ever.

Like you didn't.

You, even though you were in dire financial straights for many months, continued to project financial success and wealth in order to reel people in and make money off.

You, even when declared bankrupt, continued to lie and deceive everyone until called out repeatedly. Only then did you weave this sob-story narrative that you were always "going to tell everyone, just not yet".

BSintolerant · 14/05/2020 08:54

@GoldenKelpie the comments are mainly platitudes from her fans. They’re all blowing smoke up her arse!

Right towards the end Mr Creepy encouraged anyone who was struggling with money to get in touch with Homeschool. Surely a debt charity would be a more sensible option?

I’d like to know how many women Mr Creepy has encouraged to join Homeschool’s downline?

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 09:00

Ahem, you were hiding it, love.

Interesting at the end he talks about the anti-MLM women who are out to protect the women ("and there are some women who don't make money, spend money on 'the business' and lose money". They are encouraged to 'accumulate debt' by their upline but Homeschool is passionate abut this 'not happening' within the business.

We know this is a lie. Your previous behaviour has proved it.

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 09:04

@BSintolerant, indeed, did notice that. They are all desperate to exploit vulnerable women at this time, aren't they? B*stards!

GoldenKelpie · 14/05/2020 09:08

On a positive note, my lovely neighbour has stopped posting anything about her Body Shop at Home MLM. I wonder if she had received negative feedback after her "give me money donations so I can send Body Shop products to NHS (and up my CCs for this month)" post.

I do hope so. We have done fundraising with her for a particular charity that supports her sick child. Whilst I comment on her normal posts, I ignore all her posts about the business and ignore all requests to join her special group. Can't bring myself to say anything negative to her, though. Sigh.
