Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

How can we put out a PSA that very tired, triple shift pulling NHS staff want the safety of PPE and not candles, hand creams, perfumes, energy bars or pills?

Even those of us hitting the desk jobs working two or three jobs within the NHS (our own, covering for sick and then job roles in special covid flow hubs) just want to make sure our front line colleagues are safe at work and get home to their families.

And gin. We all just look forward to a nice Gin.

They are happy that there is a clap for keyworkers/carers that's enough appreciation. We certainly don't want MLM products that pull us onto a hun radar.

Whiterangey · 12/05/2020 15:25

What about essential oils that will prevent you catching Covid in the first place?

Surely you at least want that?

fromdownwest · 12/05/2020 15:54

Wow, just listened to some of Castle’s podcasts.

She is so insincere and un relatable, no idea how she climbed so high. Basically, to save you all time. Make a dream board, ignore everyone, pity her and her lack of confidence, oh, and pay for a coach.

Bingo, bango... 34 podcasts summarised.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 12/05/2020 16:01

Not strictly MLM-related, but it tickled me, especially in light of the loony tunes garbage put out by the likes of Sleaze & Messiah.

From a frontline US health worker on FB:

"A lot of people have been asking me what it's like being on the COVID wards in the hospital, so I figured I'd share what a typical day looks like for me:

6am - Wake up. Roll off of my pile of money that Big Pharma gave me. Softly weep as it doesn’t put a dent in my medical school loans

6:30am - Make breakfast, using only foods from the diet that gives me everlasting life by avoiding all fats, sugars, carbs, and proteins. For details buy my book and check out my shop.

7am - Get to work, load up my syringes with coronavirus before rounds.

8am - See my patients for the day. Administer the medications that the government tells me to. Covertly rub essential oils on the ones I want to get better.

9:30am - Call Bill Gates to check how 5G tower construction is going, hoping for more coronavirus soon. He tells me they’re delayed due to repairs on the towers used to spread the Black Plague. Curse the fact that this is the most efficient way to spread infectious diseases.

10am - One patient tells me he knows “the truth” about coronavirus. I give him a Tdap booster. He becomes autistic in front of my eyes. He’ll never conspire against me again.

11am - Tend to the secret hospital garden of St. John’s wort and ginkgo leaves that we save for rich patients and donors.

12:30pm - Pick up my briefcase of money from payroll, my gift from Pfizer for the incomprehensible profits we make off of the free influenza vaccine given every year.

1pm - Conference call with Dr. Fauci and the lab in Wuhan responsible for manufacturing viruses. Tell them my idea about how an apocalypse-style zombie virus would be a cool one to try for the next batch.

2pm - A patient starts asking me about getting rid of toxins. I ask her if she has a liver and kidneys. She tells me she knows “the truth” about Big Anatomy and that the only way to detoxify herself is to eat nothing but lemon wedges and mayonnaise for weeks. I give her a Tdap booster.

2:45pm - Help the FBI, CIA, and CDC silence the masses. Lament the fact that I can only infringe on one or two of their rights. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.

4pm - One of my rich patients begins to crash. Laugh as I realize I’ve mismatched her spirit animal and zodiac moon sign. I switch out the Purple Amethyst above her bed for a Tiger’s Eye geode. She stabilizes. I throw some ginkgo leaves on her for good measure

6pm - Go onto YouTube and see coronavirus conspiracy videos everywhere. Curse my all powerful government for how inept they are at keeping people from spreading “the truth”

6:10pm - Go onto Amazon and see that a book about “the truth” is the #1 seller this week. Question the power of my all powerful government. Make a reminder to myself to get more Tdap boosters from the Surgeon General next time we talk.

7pm - Time to go home. Before I leave, sacrifice a goat to Dr. Fauci and say three Hippocratic Oaths.

9pm - Take a contented sigh as I snuggle under the covers made of the tinfoil hats of my enemies, realizing that my 4 years of medical school and 3 years of residency training have been put to good use today."

“Covertly rub essential oils into the ones I want to get better” Grin

Vhun123 · 12/05/2020 18:37

Does anyone know how much you can get away with on Twitter? I'm a newbie on there. If I share names and photos am I likely to get kicked off? Facebook can be a bit naff for that kind of thing so thought I'd ask before I start going in on the huns!

leasedaudi · 12/05/2020 18:55

Lol at PHD's life where she says she can only travel business because economy is awful, and that she needs high end bags not topshop bags, and luxury hotels not budget ones. And that if you only want a top shop bag that's ok but you gotta OWN YOUR LOVE FOR CHEAP THINGS

Sforsh49 · 12/05/2020 19:28

WTH has Yawn done to that perfectly good shelving unit?

And PhD waffling on with her Word Buffet (it's far more than word salad) with Soul Alchemy, Gene Keys and Soul Readings. It really is drivel!

CodenameVillanelle · 12/05/2020 20:29

Nurse posted begging for NHS donations on her story 10 minutes ago!

Spongebobette · 12/05/2020 20:35

Begging for money. Using the NHS as a vehicle. Awful

Perthsmurf · 12/05/2020 22:15

Yawn’s post earlier today about her starting with Forever is actually, I think, really conniving in its reference to the start up fee of £200.

“We were tens of thousands in debt, what was £200 more?”

The mask slips slightly with that line. We have a small glimpse of the pressure tactics to new recruits. Yes, you’re in debt- but it’s a £200 investment hun, you’ll soon make it back!

She knows that those days have gone, but she still sells the lie to make a bit of cash. Pathetic and immoral.

Another Forever bot I follow has just been congratulated by her upline for her best month ever in March, which just happened to be the same month as her NHS donations appeal.

To give an idea, last I saw she got about £100 in donations, and has been in the business for years. That’s her best month yet.

BSintolerant · 13/05/2020 01:31

The mask slips slightly with that line. We have a small glimpse of the pressure tactics to new recruits. Yes, you’re in debt- but it’s a £200 investment hun, you’ll soon make it back!

Most people never make it back do they? They waste £200 on a box of overpriced, unnecessary products for their own use - they’re not meant to sell them - that’s actively discouraged. No, instead they’re encouraged to use the stuff themselves so they’re familiar with the products. They’ll be urged to replace everything they normally use (putting all their usual products in a bin bag) with the overpriced stuff in that box. They’ll also be expected to lend products - used or otherwise - to prospective victims for a few days (how very unhygienic). They’re not meant to sell any of the products - they’re brainwashed into making themselves their own best customers.

They will wonder how they made it to the ripe old age of 36 without taking aloe juice, bee pollen and other mysterious pellets.

Only days after they’ve coughed up £200 for all those overpriced, unnecessary products, they will be heavily pressurised into wasting another £100 or so on a C9, again for their own use. In fact, every few months they’ll be hounded into doing another C9. Then there’s the expense of travel to second rate grotty motels for the weekly brainwashing so-called business meeting. Expenses for attending their Success Days mount up. Covid’s put paid to all that.

Rinse and repeat ad nauseum - and then they’ll get you to inflict the cycle on someone else. That’s when they tell their victims a partial truth: they can only be rich if they build a team. And that’s how pyramids start.Grin

YouokHun · 13/05/2020 04:19

It seems Homeschool has gone coy on me. Yesterday she was happy to help me but not willing to say whether she sold product and not willing to name it, but today she’s blocked my DMs. Mmmm...

CompleteBarstool · 13/05/2020 08:14

I've heard Yawn's story several times and each time it varies slightly or she elaborates parts of it.

I don't recall the "tens of thousands in debt" bit before or the bit about being bailed out by her mum. I can't see how they would have had such a large debt when both had worked full time, they hadn't had any family holidays abroad etc. I smell bullshit.... again

BSintolerant · 13/05/2020 08:31

@YouokHun Homeschool might think you’re gathering information to pass on to her trustee in bankruptcy. That said there’s enough on her FB page so she’s dropped herself in it already. There’s a fantastic reply to one of her FB posts calling her out on fibbing about her success when she’s clearly bankrupt. Grin

CodenameVillanelle · 13/05/2020 08:36

Yawn and her husband both had decent J.O.B.s. I know that doesn't immunise against bad luck and debt but a two income middle class family is hardly a down on their luck story.

CodenameVillanelle · 13/05/2020 08:36

This YouTuber has done two long exposé videos about lularoe which is very interesting.

YouokHun · 13/05/2020 10:15

Well done whoever put that comment on Homeschool’s FB! I wonder how long it will sit there. I was very much the innocent sign up, not asking direct questions so I think she’s got wind that somethings up from elsewhere. Perhaps there were a few people like me popping up.

She must realise that lots of people are aware of her situation and she may have frenimies from FLP that have dobbed her in or said something to her.. Maybe the Insolvency agency has made contact? Maybe she is blissfully unaware, well, not “blissfully”, there’s nothing blissful about frantic shilling under the shadow of bankruptcy while your dungareed gaslighter encourages your eventual collapse.

Spongebobette · 13/05/2020 10:18

I see your 'dungareed gaslighter'

and raise it to 'dungareed, beard stroking, saluting gaslighter'

YouokHun · 13/05/2020 10:19

The comment has gone! Very efficient!

SSDGM · 13/05/2020 10:22

Can’t find the comment! Has it gone now? I think she’s getting a bit jumpy. She’s made enemies on both sides of mlm.

YouokHun · 13/05/2020 10:24

@Spongebobette Grin

I see your ‘dungarees, beard stroking, saluting gaslighter’

and raise it to ‘dungareed, beard stroking, saluting, brylcreemed, ex-receptionist gaslighter’

Spongebobette · 13/05/2020 10:25

Well it was up for 14 hours so hopefully some of her downline read it

@YouokHun

I see your ‘dungareed, beard stroking, saluting, brylcreemed, ex-receptionist gaslighter’

and raise it to ‘dungareed, beard stroking, saluting, brylcreemed, ex-receptionist unqualified wannabe therapist gaslighter’

YouokHun · 13/05/2020 10:37

@spongebobette you’ve got it covered with that description so I think you win. I would like to just slip the word ‘wanker’ in there somewhere, between therapist and gaslighter I think.
