MLM Bot Watch 60: It takes a village to sink an island.

Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

So Uber's business has grown by over 50% between April and May.

Amazing how a lack of cheque/embarrassingly small cheque can make you pull your finger out 🤣

acatcalledjohn · 02/06/2020 09:17

Alright, Yawn, this is for you.

5hr * 52wks = 260hrs/year
260hrs / 12 months = 21.67 hours per month.

£210 / 21.67 = £9.69/hr

Raking it in, hun.

And that's assuming that those hours will yield that profit every month as people get more and more tired of being harassed to buy yet more overpriced crap.

Whiterangey · 02/06/2020 09:45

I've just increased the amount I make in mlm by 76667%

I've earned nothing so a 76667% increase of nothing is what accountants refer to as fuck all.

MLM maths, a gcse subject nobody ever managed to pass.

Whiterangey · 02/06/2020 09:47

Has anyone seen the amount of racist bots getting called out for their racism in America?

They have been being sacked from their own businesses for it.

Spongebobette · 02/06/2020 10:02

No, where have you seen that?

lostinlego · 02/06/2020 10:03

If nurses growth of 776% means an increase in profit of that amount, and thanks to her latest promotion is now earning £500 a month surely then 3 months ago she earned about 75p a month!

RogueApostrophe · 02/06/2020 10:07

These figures with the so-called profit don't take into account any of the rolling expenses such as the monthly subscription fees to pay for the aloe goop online shop page, back office stuff, training, travel, the minimum CCs of shite you have to order for yourself, the yucky tablecloth you've got to buy for tabletop sales, the leaflets you have to pay for, the business cards.... the list goes on and on!

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 02/06/2020 10:12

And is that £210 actual profit, or have they forgotten to take off expenses such as cost of freebies / samples / postage (both receiving goods from FL and posting on to customers and things like tax and NI contributions? (Although £210 a month if no other income is probably under the tax threshold), not to mention all the positive thinking webinars and mindset CDs they have to buy!

CompleteBarstool · 02/06/2020 10:13

I think I've sussed out the increase in profit/growth/earnings or whatever the bots want to call it ...... it's because lockdown has meant NO success days, NO weekly attendance at team meetings in seedy hotels etc !

Bots therefore instantly save shitloads as they don't have to pay out for travel, hotels, coffees etc to attend!

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 02/06/2020 10:13

We think alike RogueApostrope!

When I had a limited company I used to pay my accountant £120 a month. That’s a lot of gloop you cover those costs!

BSintolerant · 02/06/2020 10:18

@Spongebobette it’s on the MLM police Facebook page. Certain reps have made racist comments. It’s disgusting. One rep who was sacked (from her own business) was with Farmasi.

There’s also a Younique bot who is using that poor man’s murder to sell waterproof mascara.

Hi everyone. Long time lurker. I'm not botting anymore after escaping, but I am still in a few of the flp groups so still see some of the behind the scenes.

I know you're going to be disappointed but Uber really did get a level 3 cheque and hid it from public posts. And it was a decent one again. Not as much as bloodsucker but still over $400k

Spongebobette · 02/06/2020 11:40

Good to get inside info, thank you.

BSintolerant · 02/06/2020 11:56

@ToBotOrNotToBot welcome to the threads! How interesting ... I wonder why Uber kept it quiet?

What made you decide to escape?

BangingOn · 02/06/2020 11:56

That’s really interesting ToBot, why would she hide it? I can’t believe for a second that it was down to humility.

JasperRising · 02/06/2020 12:00

I hate the whole faux, 'look at me I'm a successful business woman with 10 plus years experience but still can't do maths' posts (several culprits for these). Just, no. If you're really a successful independent business woman than in 10 years you either learn the maths needed to track income/expenditure/profit and calculate percentage increases or, if you really can't, you employ an account to keep you updated.

I would be far more impressed by someone who admits maths wasn't their strong point but they worked hard to improve it/get help because you need to understand your figures in business than someone who buys into the giggly stereotype of how maths is just sooo hard. Why are we so proud of not being able to do maths in this country??? (And possibly other countries, I only have a UK centric view on this!)

fromdownwest · 02/06/2020 12:18

I do think that they have had a shot in the arm with lockdown and their NHS scam.

I think that it will provide a short term boost to their massively failing businesses. It is very easy to show % increases when the prefixing number is so small.

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 02/06/2020 12:18

Why would FL agree to let her hide it? Surely it’s still good marketing for them? Could the private cheque have been photoshopped?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 02/06/2020 12:48

It's very strange indeed. FL need the poster girls and boys to reel the new recruits in. Bearing in mind how much the other UK posterchildren (bar Bloodsucker) have lost in bonus cheques over the years I can only assume that Uber has got an absolute fraction of what she had in previous years and it was deemed necessary to keep it quiet to avoid dissent in the ranks.
There were no physical big cheques provided because it was all done online, so a level 3 amount of £400K can easily be made up with no evidence provided.

BSintolerant · 02/06/2020 15:31

It’d be interesting to see a screenshot of any evidence of the cheque behind the scenes @ToBotOrNotToBot

She appears to spending money like no ones business. She is on her latest health spurt, spending thousands on a pelaton and gym equipment. It will all be gathering dust in a month, as that woman is unable to stick at anything for any duration of time.
