For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

The only benefit of programming bots to engage in repetitive behaviour is to keep them busy so they’re less likely to stop and think about what they’re doing and whether it’s working. It’s easy to keep brainwashed folk occupied when you know how.

Exactly. All this 'working the business' that bots talk of, ie spamming buy and sell groups, cold messaging contacts, setting up (illegal) raffles, posting aspirational memes, advertising (begging) for donations for pamper packs, leafleting neighbours, holding online presentations etc is meaningless distraction to stop the bots questioning where the money in their uplines' pockets comes from. And it's so tedious that its very tiresome and difficult to do consistently (as Castle et al say in their pointless podcasts. Which are also a distraction activity imposed on them by their up line or paid coaches). Not successful in mlm? You weren't consistent enough! You didn't post pics of yourself using the products every day for 5 years! You didn't cold call 6 people a day! You didn't talk to 4 people when out shopping to share the opportunity with them! It's your fault, you know!

I was just coming here to post that I think Yawn wil put the house on the market soon. She is unlikely to get what they paid for it due to the 'improvements' she's made.

Official stance will be moving somewhere less rural so the kids can meet their friends and get to college/school easier.

She is concentrating at the moment on cheap touches that she thinks makes the house look better to increase its value and saleability.

A house like that is not my cup of tea, neither is the rural location those interested in the house will want original features,like the fireplace restored to unpainted, those stairs unwallpared, and the house with 90% less 'live, laugh, love'.

It's hers she can do what she wants, but her taste is very unique and unlikely to appeal to those who atte drawn to a house of that age.

Tricky to sell anything right now, especially with “Changing Rooms” style improvements, so I don’t think any directors loans will get paid back any time soon. There’s been much talk among small Ltd company owners (I am one) that HMRC is going to get much more timely and definite about all things taxation now that we are heading for a recession. I wouldn’t want to be in her position at all.
