Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

@Perthsmurf

On that very subject The Talented Ladies Club have called out the use of NHS care packs by MLM participants.

www.talentedladiesclub.com/articles/dont-donate-to-charities-through-mlms-why-their-good-deeds-arent-as-innocent-as-they-seem/

This needs to be shared everywhere!!

Spongebobette · 19/05/2020 09:38

Great piece.

Perthsmurf · 19/05/2020 10:00

@BSintolerant spot on! I recall Homeschool having an old cheque in the background of her lives right up until she was sacked by FL. There was no reason to do that unless it was to try and entice more people to sign up.

Really not a victim.

BSintolerant · 19/05/2020 10:22

Is there a link to the silver linings thread? I can’t find it.

jonnybiscuits · 19/05/2020 10:25

Silver linings since lockdown http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/3913332-Silver-linings-since-lockdown

jonnybiscuits · 19/05/2020 10:26

Already some great work on that thread

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 19/05/2020 10:27

Would be great to get the inside info on these cheques. Dollars of course so any fool without much of a brain will think its ££ .I wonder if that's the amount for show then various stuff is taken off and they actually get alot less

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 19/05/2020 10:33

Be interesting to see what aloethere sells exactly🤭. Perhaps she will 'jump on' and give us a run through of her amaaaaze biz. 500 x 0 = 0

jonnybiscuits · 19/05/2020 10:43

@CaroleFuckingBaskin 1 lip balm v 5 lip balms. 500% innit?

AntiBotics · 19/05/2020 11:12

Talented Ladies Club article is referring to Nurse. The story screenshot was on her personal page yesterday.
I don’t know who else had the same screenshot if it was her up line or downline. Forgot to check yesterday!

funkylittleboatrace · 19/05/2020 11:31

Broke a found a barber to cut his hair what a cunt.

jonnybiscuits · 19/05/2020 11:31

Yep that's nurse. Also that article calls out nurses downline for her scammy NHS fundraiser. Just looked at her timeline. Her friends are madly lapping it all up. They've donated £200 and are saying how wonderful she is and how proud they are. She's also sold a shit ton of raffle tickets for a hand cream. Nurse is beside herself

Awful

Spongebobette · 19/05/2020 11:53

The one with initials DD seems to be running raffles on her FB page

jonnybiscuits · 19/05/2020 12:10

That's the one @Spongebobette

Bluewavescrashing · 19/05/2020 12:18

Aside from the predatory and mercenary nature of Nurse's pamper hamper, it surely is pretty unhygienic to dump a basket of handcream on a table in the ICU staffroom for nurses to share. Cross contamination!?

leasedaudi · 19/05/2020 12:19

Who here has had a bad experience with MLM? If you go to the media requests topic, there's a daily mail request for input from those who have had bad experiences

YouokHun · 19/05/2020 12:37

@leasedaudi struggling to find the media requests. I think I can point them towards some people. Can someone guide me (I’m probably looking straight at it Blush

leasedaudi · 19/05/2020 12:44

If you go to the Topic / Browse function, it's under Classified

YouokHun · 19/05/2020 12:44

Found it! Thanks for the heads up @leasedaudi

YouokHun · 19/05/2020 13:08

I see the DSA UK on FB is highlighting one of the “great successes“ of FLP, who has a very definite downward shift in her profits according to CH.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/05/2020 13:54

So Broke, who is asplenetic and therefore severely immunocompromised, is inviting into whatever abode he now resides in a person who is reckless enough to flout social distancing measures with multiple people to get up close & personal?

Darwinism in action...

Jigsawpuzzle · 19/05/2020 14:11

Without trawling through too many photos DSA bot $121k+ in 2015 and $18K+ in 2018.
The party lite one not much engagement.
Any word on the street re Uber’s mystery cheque?

9dartfinish2nd · 19/05/2020 14:18

DSA bot is the same bot who featured in the Sunday Express piece a few weeks back.
Her Chairman's bonus cheque has plummeted in line with the rest of them.

YouokHun · 19/05/2020 14:34

That’s the one @9dartfinish2nd, I knew we’d discussed her recently. I wonder if anyone at the DSA ever does what we do and has a sneaky look to see whether these people really can be wheeled out as successes. All they need to do is look at CH. Lucky timing and a ruthless ability to trick people into signing up, no business acumen required.
