Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

Haven't had time to read all the posts, but I've just had a FB friend request from a bot that appears to be peddling some weightloss company called XXY. I blame you lot! I've been ferreting around and that must be why I've got the request, I don't have any connection to this woman at all 😂

hunzuncovered · 17/05/2020 23:44

XXY is the star downline of the lady in the YouTube video posted earlier. The male member of XXY is someone I'm connected to and dragged a member of my family into juice plus

hunzuncovered · 17/05/2020 23:47

The last thing anyone needs in a life coach is someone who has a history of being a narcissistic bully.

I take it her pyramid scheme and fake tarot reading isn't bringing in the big bucks.

MrsSnitchnose · 18/05/2020 01:15

@hunzuncovered Ah, I see now. I was very tempted to accept and hear her pitch, before posting the link to my fitness app I've lost 4 stone with
not a handful of crappy pills or shakes in sight

Norma27 · 18/05/2020 05:42

Sacked already has testimonials on her stories saying how great her life coaching us!
How amazing, before she has even started.
Can't believe how much fake shit these people put up. Obviously on her stories so there is no trace of it.

SSDGM · 18/05/2020 19:13

Broke deleted his post about his ex and social services. He’s looking more bloated by the day. Hopefully his benefits will come through soon and he can spend £100 on his snake CBD oil.

YouokHun · 18/05/2020 20:12

I’m now getting daily spam into messenger from Mr Homeschool. It’s now ramped up so I’m receiving garbled personalised videos of him mixing up concepts. I must be his only prospect. He’s sending me choices via buttons to press, to proceed and improve my life or stay in the dark by unsubscribing. It’s obviously intending to grind me down, the assumption being that I’m unhappy enough and unsure enough to be malleable.

Norma27 · 18/05/2020 20:17

What an absolute arseholes Mr Homeschool is.

Spongebobette · 18/05/2020 20:34

I’m getting that too. There’s an option to ‘stop‘, which he had to include due to FB rules.
After loads of messages about low self esteem he’s moved on to weight loss

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 18/05/2020 21:32

Homeschool live - what was it her creepy man said to her about cheques when she was allegedly coming clean? He said something about are you going to say about the cheques? She then looked down and said no. I wonder if they were going to spill something about these massive cheques??

YouokHun · 18/05/2020 21:58

@Spongebobette ah yes, I hadn’t thought about FB rules. I’m tempted to present with some red flags for a serious psychological problem and see what he does; if the hard sell gets more intense as he senses vulnerability or if he backs away or makes suggestions that are safer but won’t fill his wallet. I can hazard a guess...

@CaroleFuckingBaskin yes, I remember that, “the cheques”... I wonder what that was about. The yoga mat cheques she used to get? Or where Modere is having to send her pay chequeS to avoid the wrath of the Insolvency Agency?

BSintolerant · 18/05/2020 22:53

Were they talking about checks or cheques?

Did someone mention that Homeschool got the sack just before she was due to get a bonus cheque from Forever Living? Could that have been the issue? If you’ve told the Insolvency Service you’re unemployed and then you’re blabbing on your FB page about not getting a bonus cheque you’d look like a billy bullshitter wouldn’t you?

HailHydra · 18/05/2020 22:54

My local scentsy hun has done a cry to camera about how people on our estate aren't giving to her NHS campaign.

She's had the nerve to post this on our estate FB page.

Still tumbleweed

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 18/05/2020 23:00

Yes could have been 'checks'
Interesting either way because she was ruffled and clearly didn't want to discuss it further

BSintolerant · 18/05/2020 23:18

@YouokHun what sort of alleged therapist uses emojis to that extent - is he a bot in disguise? Wait, maybe emoji diarrhoea can be sexually transmitted.

Is Weird Willy a qualified psychologist or psychotherapist? If he isn’t, where’s his disclaimer?

BSintolerant · 18/05/2020 23:54

There’s another intriguing part of that video a minute or so after she said she didn’t want to talk about the cheques. Homeschool was talking about the terrible anxiety, stress and the fact she was having nightmares because she’d got into a mess with money. Weird Willy said “You thought you were going to be taken away in jail ...”

Did she not realise that debtors’ prisons no longer exist in the UK? Alternatively her husband had a severe bout of foot-in-mouth and nearly revealed something Homeschool would rather keep quiet. Is there more to this than meets the eye?

TwinsetAndPearlss · 18/05/2020 23:56

Yes I thought the going to jail comment was odd. You don't go to prison for debt, fraud on the other hand ....

BSintolerant · 19/05/2020 00:11

I noticed someone left a comment in support saying that she and her husband filed for bankruptcy ten years ago and it gave them a clean slate. She is also a Forever Living bot.

Note this post in the 'lockdown silver linings' thread on AIBU. Hmm

Perthsmurf · 19/05/2020 08:15

Watching Homeschool’s video again, I think they’re referring to cheques. Mr H talks about her being “in a pattern” in a financial context, when she’s talking about not making ends meet.

I think she is uncomfortable because she knows she signed people up for years using a very old cheque as part of the snare.

She plays the victim but she knows she lied to people, knowing they would lose money, just to try and save her own financial situation. If she admits that the cheques dropped after 2015/6 then she is admitting that she signed people up under false pretences.

An awful couple, I cannot believe people still sign up with either of them.

I’m glad that people had the courage to alert HRMS to her new “employment” status.

Perthsmurf · 19/05/2020 08:18

My local FL bot has had her best 2 months of business ever thanks to her overpriced, underwhelming NHS packs.

I thought she had given it up, but now she seems to be in deeper than ever. She’s a bit like nurse- not bright enough to lie convincingly so hasn’t managed to sign anyone up yet, but happy to lie anyway just in case someone falls for it.

Jigsawpuzzle · 19/05/2020 08:57

With the current crises I’m sure many of us have witnessed a lot of innovation/creativity in our communities. The bots however do more repeats than Dad’s Army. The usual pimping of pets/children/other family members/house decor/plates of food/glass of wine/old cheques/product placement (AKA spring cleaning garage).
It is also concerning that those bots requiring DBS/safeguarding training are not pulled up, looking at you Nurse/not a teacher Gembot.

BSintolerant · 19/05/2020 09:06

@Perthsmurf I think you’re right about the cheques. They all try to con people using pictures of very old cheques. Scamming cunts aren’t they?
