Thanks for sorting the new thread out!
Just to add to what @curdanewhey said in the very last post of the last thread about Prolific currently having quite a few studiesBeautiful outside. Clickworker also have quite a few good ones I’ve just done a 15 Euro one and it only took 10 minutes.

Kaylsar · 22/04/2020 09:01

Just thought I should do an update on April earnings so far.
Prolific: £30.68
Clickworker: €15
Appen: $14 one hour
Freelancer: £454.20 and I have two more tasks totalling £221.68 due tomorrow. So total £675.88
212trading: up £34.10 as of today but obviously with trading who knows what can happen when it comes to withdrawing. I initially only deposited £2 (the minimum is £1) and got a free share as I used someone’s referral link here and then got another two free shares when others have used mine ( they get a free share too) Do you want to get a free stock share worth up to ‎£ 100?

Create a Trading212Invest account using this link www.trading212.com/invite/FfWEvGTO and we both get a free share! You have to deposit a minimum of £1 to get a free share.
20COGS: £114 up but most likely I won’t cash out until May
This is my referral link: 20cogs.co.uk/validate/refer_a_friend/welcome/2436585?keyword=referred&subid1=20CUK-1360-2436585-44115108&campaign=600

Happy with progress so far Smile

rhij86 · 22/04/2020 09:09

Wow @kaylsar those freelancer figures are amazing! Would you reccomend freelancer or is it difficult to get started on?

I'm sitting at around the £500 mark, so unless I really pull my finger out on appen in this last week I won't get anywhere near my £1K target for the month. Think I need to lower my expectations for May.

OP posts:
Kaylsar · 22/04/2020 09:19

@rhij86
I definitely recommend because I’ve only got back to the site after maternity and I was taking in on average three times more monthly in 2017 with some months reaching £3/£4k. It depends on what you’re good at really. I’ve done all sorts on there including writing, proofreading, UK Voice overs and the good thing is because you directly connect with the employers, they usually come back. 99% of those that hire me are not from the UK. I have three projects at the moment, Singapore, Thailand and UK. When I wrote the last post I included Thailand and UK but not the Singapore one because she just messaged me now! So in total I’ll be getting £340 for maximum 8 hours work. Also these projects are research writing by the way. Definitely recommend Freelancer but it takes a while to getting used to it.

MoreMoneyPlease · 22/04/2020 09:22

Thanks for the new thread @rhij86

I'm not doing great this month, Neevo seemed to have 'lost' a big batch of tasks I did, I keep getting screened out of Intellizoom tasks, on waiting list for Spudulike and there's never much for me on Prolific. Thank heavens for T'ee! I think I need to get a new income stream so will have a good look at Freelancer and maybe give Fiverr a proper go.

Adelais · 22/04/2020 09:32

How are the other potato newbies getting on? I’ve signed in a few times but not sure I’m doing it right!

rhij86 · 22/04/2020 09:53

@Kaylsar thanks for the info - I might give it a look if/when my current Appen project dries up. At the moment I'm not hitting the requested 20hours a week on that so seems daft to look at something else too.

@MoreMoneyPlease sorry to hear you're having a sucky month :( hopefully May is better for you!

OP posts:
dirtyfries · 22/04/2020 10:11

Any advice on 20COGS?
I'm stuck on cog 11, can't find any offers that don't involve spending out/committing to subscriptions.

Starting to think I'll never reach the 20 and I've wasted a load of time

MoreMoneyPlease · 22/04/2020 10:18

Thanks @rhij86 hopefully things will pick up.

@Kaylsar Is the work you do on Freelancer related to your work background? Would someone with no track record be able to get jobs quickly?

MrsPretzels · 22/04/2020 10:36

@kaylsar impressive figures!! I may have a look at freelancer.

@dirtyfries I did 20cogs a few months back. When there was nothing of interest on a particular cog, I left it a few days and just kept checking back. They change/add other options every so often.

curdsandwhey · 22/04/2020 10:48

@dirtyfries Leave it a few days and some new offers will eventually appear.

GachaBread · 22/04/2020 10:56

😀

rhij86 · 22/04/2020 11:01

@GachaBread nice to see you - how are you doing? I was thinking about you the other day

OP posts:
GachaBread · 22/04/2020 11:23

@rhij86 not bad at all. Don't know how but I found the balls to kick my partner out, he left without much of a fight. This corona had me thinking why the hell should I be leaving, with 5 kids, uprooting them, changing schools etc so for me corona has been a blessing as I found my inner strength and done what I should have done years ago. I feel happy, safe and content and everything that I had saved up to leave his sorry ass is now getting me through this corona episode nicely. Kids are happier, a bit bored as most are but can't really do anything about that.
Cloudworkers is ticking me over too and due to my other money spinners drying up and having time on my hands I have started to learn Spanish. My dream is too move over their when I am old and grey. The future for once looks bright babes. Mad how life takes all twists and turns.
Hope you and all others are good too
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

MoreMoneyPlease · 22/04/2020 11:25

Well done @GachaBread You always sound like a strong person and I'm really pleased for you. Good luck with the Spanish!

rhij86 · 22/04/2020 11:30

@GachaBread I'm going to blame the pregnancy hormones but reading your post has made me cry with happiness for you!! As I said I was thinking about you the other day and have actually spent a few nights worrying as you'd been very quiet (the things you think about when the toddler refuses to sleep at 3am ha!) but didn't want to reach out incase it backfired for you.

I'm so bloody happy for you!! Wine Flowers

OP posts:
MrsPretzels · 22/04/2020 11:36

Oh @GachaBread I'm so pleased things are finally looking up for you Flowers

Kaylsar · 22/04/2020 11:40

@GachaBread that’s lovely to hear, sending you lots of strength Flowers

GachaBread · 22/04/2020 11:44

@MoreMoneyPlease @MrsPretzels @Kaylsar ❤️ @rhij86 cried so many tears myself but happy tears so I am with you on that. I wake up everyday and think is this even real? Their is still so much to sort out, as in finances and trying to remove his name off the tenancy but the locks are changed and he is never setting back in here again. 15 years of my life wasted on him but I got their in the end ladies.
Thanks for all the love and support.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 22/04/2020 11:53

@GachaBread that's brilliant, well done. I'm so happy for you x

GachaBread · 22/04/2020 12:03

Thanks Spock now got to tackle the quitting the cigs again. Started up again after stopping for a few months. Getting through the first week fills me with dread.

rhij86 · 22/04/2020 12:07

@GachaBread one hurdle at a time! You'll get there

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 22/04/2020 12:38

@GachaBread oh that made me cry too (also blaming pregnancy hormones). You fucking rock, you superstar StarThanks.

527040minutes · 22/04/2020 13:36

Well done @GachaBread! Massive step, you should be very proud!

@Kaylsar would you mind me messaging you about freelancer please? I'm struggling to get going/get my head around it and wary of clogging up the thread with a million questions!
