That should cover most of what was discussed in the last thread! I'm just realising I've forgotten transcription sites so I'll add those on now.

As always, referral links are always more than welcome Smile

@MoreMoneyPlease
Thank you. I’m reconsidering whether I even want to be a vet after the way I was treated as a client. Was a really horrible ordeal and a vet student friend that came with me for a support thinks I should file a report but I don’t feel able to right now.
My two girls won’t eat or come out to see me after losing him so it’s even harder watching and keeping an eye on them.

But anyway, that’s not the point of this thread.

fajita · 13/02/2020 13:34

Thanks @Lougle

StudentHelp · 13/02/2020 13:35

@Lougle thank you Flowers

There are some £2 and £5 stories on Streetbees relating to ordering groceries or a takeaway if anyone is interested in those.

MoreMoneyPlease · 13/02/2020 13:37

Well, I failed the Rev captioning test and have just got thrown off my first foray into UHRS for low accuracy Blush Not much else going on so will have to work my way through a few more MB welcome offers when I get home.

I'm sure this has been asked, but do UHRS tasks take a while to show up on Clickworker?

MoreMoneyPlease · 13/02/2020 13:39

@StudentHelp that's horrible, I'm sorry you went through that. But you definitely need to continue your training because you'll have the empathy and understanding to know exactly what people are going through when losing their beloved pets and will treat them with kindness. I'd bring my cats to you!

StudentHelp · 13/02/2020 13:44

@MoreMoneyPlease
Thank you. I just feel so disheartened.
We’re taught that owners know their animals best etc and he was taken from me, there was no discussion about the procedure, I signed the form afterwards not before(!!), I hadn’t even agreed to it and he went in with a wheeze. I had no time to say bye and he pushed me out the room before he’d taken his last breath, there was no empathy or compassion and he really suffered in his last moments which made it so much worse.

He was 6.5 and they deteriorate quickly but I feel like the rug was pulled from under me. He wasn’t gassed before the injection which I think is a requirement? (We haven’t studied that yet).

Sorry for detailing the thread Sad

otterses · 13/02/2020 13:59

@StudentHelp

I'm so sorry Sad that's absolutely horrendous.

Hi @StudentHelp - I'm really sorry to hear about your little piggy Sad

I don't know if I can be of any help but I'm an RVN - been in practice for 11 years if you'd like to discuss it you can always pm me.

justtheonethen · 13/02/2020 14:02

@StudentHelp I'm so sorry, it's hard enough to lose a pet without being treated that way Sad

TheMamaYo · 13/02/2020 14:04

@girlicorne, I'd be so happy if you could use my link to sign up for Profit Accumulator here. :-)

www.profitaccumulator.co.uk/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=9079

I'm sorry, I don't quite know how to insert link whilst making it look all pretty in here. :-) Matched Betting has been awesome for me the last few weeks, after a very long January and 2 birthdays to pay for. Wish I discovered it years ago!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 13/02/2020 14:06

Newbie here. Have a full time day job but need to earn a few more £££. i've signed up to crisp but not managing to pass yet I keep getting 18 out of 20!!

I'm also registered with appen and waiting to hear from them. I was just wondering anyone who uses cloud workers is it possible to do a second job with them as the commitment does seem quite a lot?

I'm a skilled proof reader but no formal quals. Anyone have any experience of freelance in this area?

TheMamaYo · 13/02/2020 14:08

@studenthelp, so sad to hear. It is heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet.

GachaBread · 13/02/2020 14:09

@StudentHelp from one pet lover to another.... I feel your pain. So sorry to hear ❤️❤️❤️❤️

TheMamaYo · 13/02/2020 14:09

@MrsArchchancellorRidcully, are you signed up on Upwork? I am in the short fiction business and get most of my people from there.

nothingchangesonnewyearsday · 13/02/2020 14:30

Anyone think we will get paid today?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 13/02/2020 14:48

Just got a special offer for Football Index if anyone is interested. Use my link and you get £30. You need to deposit £10 but it's easy to withdraw again. I find it quite fun!

StudentHelp · 13/02/2020 15:30

Thank you to everyone that has mentioned me, I managed to drag myself into uni for a practical despite getting no sleep last night

Catatemyhomework · 13/02/2020 15:51

So sorry to hear about your guinea pig @StudentHelp. It is always very distressing to lose a beloved pet, particulary in horrible circumstances. Flowers You must keep on studying to be a vet though, because we need kind and caring practitioners. I have a lovely cat and I always warm to the vets who warm to her. Not many do as she hates going to the vets, but she is lovely!
@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock, I have used your footbal index link BTW. I have deposited my £10. Do you know when it shows up in your account?
A very unproductive day for me. Achieved absolutely nothing on the earning front. February will be worse than January for me I think. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

3dogsnorth · 13/02/2020 15:55

@StudentHelp sorry to hear about your pet. It's always heartbreaking saying goodbye. Hugs xx

3dogsnorth · 13/02/2020 15:58

@girlicorne. How easy is Team Casino. I've done matched betting and found it fairly straightforward. No idea about casino though. I'd only do the 7 day trial. Can I ask if it's risk free and do you have to lay out money initially to play and do you need an exchange. Sorry, so many questions

AriellaBella · 13/02/2020 16:00

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock what is Football Index?

Has anyone still got any work on UHRS?

@MoreMoneyPlease yes the UHRS do take a while to show up on Clickworker.

girlicorne · 13/02/2020 16:22

@TheMamaYo thank you I will use your link!
@3dogsnorth it is fairly easy you do have to lay out money but you do make it back with profit, there are no risk and low risk offers on there to start you off then higher risk as you build your bank roll and feel more confident. It’s pretty straightforward lots of guides and he walks you through the offers like on Team Profit but unlike matched betting it is not risk free. If you start with say £100 be prepared to lose it as it is based on expected value so some offers you may put in £10 if your own and lose it some you may put in £10 of your own money and make more than the expected value but over time your profits should generally follow the ev but there will be ups and downs. There’s a free trial for £1 so it might be worth you having an explore and seeing if it’s for you? People on the team profit Facebook page are making cracking money on there!!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 13/02/2020 16:35

Football index is a bit like Freetrade crossed with fantasy football. You buy and sell shares in footballers and if they perform well you get dividends and the share price goes up and down etc.

Sorry, don't know how long it takes to get the reward.

TheFishingTrip2019 · 13/02/2020 16:40

Hi All,

I am now signed up to the UHRS tasks on clickworker, is there any pattern to when the jobs go on there? such as a certain time of day etc?

Whilst I am here i'll do another shameless plug for my trading 212 referral link, since I've opened the account in January I've made £202 just from free shares, you do have to wait 28 days to withdraw but I am more than happy with that!

Here is my link:

Create a Trading212Invest account using this link www.trading212.com/invite/FMEpnR3Z and we both get a free share!

Wolfff · 13/02/2020 17:06

@studenthelp

So sorry to hear about your piggy and your horrible experience. My daughter is also a vet student. Please don't let this put you off but let it make you more determined to treat clients with care and compassion x
