That should cover most of what was discussed in the last thread! I'm just realising I've forgotten transcription sites so I'll add those on now.

As always, referral links are always more than welcome Smile

I've just noticed on crisp that my earnings on my dashboard have dropped :( I am missing one full day, has this happened to anyone else? Also what is the best way to get paid that avoids the most fees?

MrsWombat · 01/02/2020 10:52

@Careeradviceplease Sorry you are feeling low. I think you are doing the right thing. If it doesn't earn you UK minimum wage then don't bother with it. Hopefully some great Appen projects will kick in soon.

Careeradviceplease · 01/02/2020 11:00

Thanks everyone, what a lovely supportive thread this is! I had high hopes of making £10 an hour plus in one of the talked about things on here but no matter how quick I am I can’t make it pay! I m going to give some of the click worker UHRS stuff a go today see if that’s likely to work out as some of it looks like it could be about £10 an hour, has anyone done any of this and is it a good earner??

@Februarycat I was very slow to begin with but every week I just kept getting faster. I started at 30 messages an hour.

Februarycat · 01/02/2020 11:16

@GachaBread Yes I am only doing 30-40 messages an hour, hoping I can speed up to 50 messages an hour this month.

GachaBread · 01/02/2020 11:20

@Februarycat I switch off all distractions and I use a computer mouse on my laptop instead of the cursor pad which helps me go faster too.

You will speed up, I never thought I could, it just naturally happens.

MoreMoneyPlease · 01/02/2020 11:26

@themoneyshed I'm getting more confident with MB and am plodding on with all the sign up offers (just doing the Bet365 free bet which is my biggest lay to date Shock) This has all been on football. Do you have an easy to follow guide on horse racing so I can do some bets before Cheltenham?

themoneyshed · 01/02/2020 11:35

@MoreMoneyPlease

This covers the best way to do horse refund offers
blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/match-catcher-review/

In a nutshell

I would look at doing the bet365 offer today if you want an easy go at them

Bet365 - Back any single winner at 4/1 or more on any race televised live on ITV Racing and you can have a risk free bet to the same stake (up to £50*) on the next race broadcast live on ITV Racing.

So back any horse that has odds of 5.0 or more (remember odds may drift before the race happens but as long as its at 5.0 or above at the off you are fine)

So yeah, back and lay that horse with MINIMIMUL qualifying loss and hope it comes in. If it does you get a free bet to use on the next race

Since you are just starting out I would just do £5 bets on this instead of the full £50 as you can build up to that ;)

Bemystarlord · 01/02/2020 11:38

Last months totals for me were
Appen $98
Crisp £100
Utest £380
Prolific £8
Respondent £30
Neevo £55

Pleased with this month, hoping for similar for Feb too.

Whatsmyname2019 · 01/02/2020 11:41

Hi , can anyone explain uTest to me please. I’ve been signed up a while and get loads of invites but I’ve done both in the academy yet. Do I have to complete that first?

ZetaPuppis · 01/02/2020 11:42

My overall was £60 this month.
I was hoping for better but I spent a lot of time being ill.
Here’s to a healthier and more lucrative Feb.

Catatemyhomework · 01/02/2020 11:47

@Otterses, thanks for the new thread. I've converted everything from $ to £, so my totals for January are:

Neevo: £111.11
UTest: £26.60
isoftsotone: £28.68
Intellizoom: £1.52
Matched Betting: £169.09
Freetrade: £22.40
Total: £359.40

I'm reasonably happy with this, although not as good as December. Hoping for a fabulous February!

StudentHelp · 01/02/2020 11:52

In January I managed:
Pollpass: £3
Intellizoom: £5.30 Also waiting for another £4.50
Neevo: £35
Prolific: £11 paid but waiting for another £15

£73.80 total which isn’t toooo bad when I’ve had exams etc

Also £10 in Freetrade!

TheMamaYo · 01/02/2020 12:03

Good morning! Was there talk of a spreadsheet that someone made available to us to keep track of what we do individually?

anxiouswaiting · 01/02/2020 12:04

@gachabread how your cloudworkers total is great. How many hours did you need to work for that roughly? Is there always work available during the day? The issue I find with things like Cri** is traffic is so low during the day but I really need something for while little one naps and when he is at nursery if I am working odd shifts. Also is it shift/rota work or login when you want? I have a bad sleeper so can't commit to any nights as if he is alseep I need to be too

GachaBread · 01/02/2020 12:16

@anxiouswaiting I work 4 hours a day 2 hours morning and 2 hours at night and do 300/400 msgs a day. Traffic is plentiful. You do have to book 12 hours a week but can also log on at other times whenever it suits you: Hope that helps.

justtheonethen · 01/02/2020 12:39

@Careeradviceplease I'm trying the click UH stuff. I'm rubbish at it though and keep getting chucked out for not being accurate enough 🙈

Lougle · 01/02/2020 12:46

Cloudworkers - I've searched and found 'chat board moderation' - is that really what it is, because I thought I'd read on another thread that it's sex chat work,? I'm happy to moderate but not talk dirty Grin

GachaBread · 01/02/2020 13:07

@Lougle yes it is adult chat with the majority of it talking dirty by messages only.

toastytea · 01/02/2020 13:11

@MrsWombat I think I'm on the same project as you on appen. Annoyingly missed 5 days for no reason other than forgetting!! How do you know that you've got 4 months left?! Do they tell you?

Lougle · 01/02/2020 13:31

Ah, ok, that's what I thought. Thanks, @GachaBread. It was the 'moderator' bit that made me think it could be something different.

Wolfff · 01/02/2020 14:17

Quite a slow month for me. Earned about £230 from my normal Appen project, did a little on Crisp, prolific and have just got access to UHRS on Clickworker.

I was ill on and off for two weeks and had a visitor from overseas I had to entertain. I have another major project in my day job this month so unlikely to pick much up again until the end of Feb. I'm mindful that my Appen job will end in a few months so trying to do my hour a day!
