@spacepoppers I can reserve on BME at 8pm for it to say I can do it by 3pm the next day. I think for you it would be about 9 or 10pm. Check at 10pm press reserve and it will tell you the time you have available without booking the job.

@spacepoppers yes Roamler is for the more hardened mystery shopper. BeMyEye is the training that will get you their for Roamler. Trust me on this.

You can book a job the night before - I have done this :) When you click on it, it tells you the time you need to commit to do it by and at that point you can back out as well. So you have nothing to lose by checking this.

I am still annoyed at my last BME failing because the staff members were in the aisle and I couldn't escape them in the time I had to complete the job!

@GachaBread ohhhh okay, that all makes perfect sense. I answered a ridiculously long survey on FA about bananas (!) and then there were a couple of jobs which I couldn't get to in time, then they disappeared. Will keep an eye out at the weekends. Thanks for all the invaluable advice as always! :)

I'm doing an academy test for uTest. I'm testing a retail site and cannot find any bugs anywhere! Everyone else has found 100 bugs between them. Switching browsers in desperation in case I can find a bug on an inferior one.

@BertieBotts yessss, that's so annoying. I had a member of staff ask me straight up in Curry's if I worked for Soda Stream hahaha! The last failure I had was an 'approver' telling me I had NOT photographed all the FSDU's, I mean, how can you possibly know that...you weren't there lol. I had to go back just to prove a point, but it's annoying.

@MrsWombat that's tough. You can't see what isn't there.

@spacepoppers sometimes back in the early days some of my jobs have been rejected for the most stupidest of reasons so to get round that take enough pictures to cover the whole store even if you feel they are not needed. The pictures in most cases mean more then the answers you input so your job will always get approved.

Approvers need the proof with your pictures

Or you could contest the job through support and someone else will look at it and decide but that can take ages but if it goes in your favour you will get the money and and any xp lost given back.

Approvers do sometimes get it wrong too so if you think something is off appeal it.

To be fair @GachaBread I should really have put in the comments that there were less FSDU's than expected, I took ++++ pics to prove absence on my second visit, so lesson learnt. The support get a really hard time on the FB page etc, but I've always found them helpful, if a little slow maybe

@spacepoppers the thing is they take ages to respond, sometimes they have dealt with my queries instantly and sometimes they have taken weeks. They will get to you but it can be frustrating to wait.

Just roll with it hun , you seem up to speed with how they operate and by the end of the year I want you on level 15 or above. I'm always here to help you and any others coz you are like a little family here to me.

@seizethecuttlefish welcome to the club If you need any help with UTest, just shout. A few of us are about 5 weeks ahead of you, so we know practically nothing a little bit.

@Lougle, am I right in thinking that if a test case requires Charles Proxy and your android phone is higher than 7 you have to decline it? I declined one the other day as I think it said that it couldn't be done in versions of 7 or higher. Thankfully the most recent one I did was a Logcat and that was ok. I think there are workarounds with Charles Proxy but I don't know enough to do it yet.

@BertieBotts, I have the same problem. I haven't done that Academy test. I think there is a way of doing it but I haven't worked it out yet. I declined a project as I thought I wouldn't be able to do it.

Has anyone applied for Rattle on Appen? I need a bit more info - it sounds identical to what I've just been accepted to do for LB so want to know before I apply for this one?

Thanks @rhij86, I've just seen them. I'm out today but going to see if I can do them on the go. I have Rattle on my dashboard now. Don't know whether to apply for it though as I am getting fed up with spending hours and hours sitting qualifications and never being asked to do any work.

@catatemyhomework I know what you mean RE appen. I've read a bit more on the 'qualify' page and it does seem like it might be the same as my LB one... in which case I can't see that it would be short of work. But who knows with Appen! shrug

They dropped then vanished! Hopefully just a bug and they'll be back, unless every single one has been snapped up! @GachaBread
