So... Anyone up for an earn £10 a day 2020 thread?

HAPPY NEW YEAR Crown Grin

For anyone who wasn't with us last year, we all set about trying to earn £10 a day on top of our usual income. No MLM schemes or anything dodgy. There were some fantastic amounts achieved, mat leaves extended, babies conceived, and redundancies survived. I know the thread got a bit confusing to follow for new starters, but please don't be intimidated! You don't need any special skills or anything to do any of this, it's all really accessible and I promise we'll all try to be clear about what sites/terms are so no one gets too lost Smile

I haven't had time to put a full list together, and to be honest I want to pop off and go make the most of the content on Crisp Thinking (social media moderation site averaging around £10 per hour) but I was planning on popping up a list a bit later today.

@justtheonethen Thank you!

I've not been accepted yet but I'm having second thoughts now, sounds like it may be a bit stressful to me-personally.
I didn't realise they were that strict, although I do understand that it's probably like most things - if you keep making mistakes then you're out!

justtheonethen · 07/01/2020 17:02

@Frenchdoors1 honestly don't worry, it's not as hard as it sounds and they are very forgiving of minor mistakes.

Boobahs · 07/01/2020 17:05

Thanks @Wolfff, I ended up emailing myself the link off my phone and worked it out Smile

Frenchdoors1 · 07/01/2020 17:15

@justtheonethen
Thank you!

If anyone isn't using Streetbees yet, I recommend getting it. It's the most user friendly of all the survey apps I've tried (Qmee, Swagbucks et al) and actually pays out really quickly. I only signed up a few days ago and yesterday they paid £3 into my Paypal from just one survey.

I just started using Streetbees! Use my referral code 777948 :) onelink.to/streetbees

whereareyousleep · 07/01/2020 18:42

@Patapouf have you tried logging into the AMR for the fletcher minor it won't accept my PIN number just wonder if it's a general fault or a fault with mine?

TheCanterburyWhales · 07/01/2020 18:44

Can someone sign up to Gener8 with my link pleeeeeease. Need one more signerupper to cash out.

I wonder if we should have a separate referrals thread like the Christmas Bargain threads do, the links seem to keep getting lost in our busy earning money posts!

Appen isn't loading for me today, so looks like it will be one of my 2 allowed days off for this week. Can't say I'm sorry, it's bloody boring stuff. Grin

Patapouf · 07/01/2020 18:54

@whereareyousleep I haven't tried yet, do you know how long we have to complete it?

MynameisJune · 07/01/2020 18:58

I did not know about the 1 in 4000 thing on Crisp. Pretty sure I’ve got more than that wrong and I’m no where near 4000 yet. Do you get feedback from them?

justtheonethen · 07/01/2020 19:05

@MynameisJune it's in the wiki. They will message you if they see you have done one wrong. They do quality checks randomly too,

Whatsmyname2019 · 07/01/2020 19:20

Blimey don’t those Neevo tasks go quickly. I’ve been doing the Australian-English pronunciation since about 5 and it’s finished already. Was enjoying it too

Reclaiminglife · 07/01/2020 19:22

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock thanks for the mrq link. Here’s mine mrq.com/invited/Daisydog2502

I can’t see the free bingo! :(

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 07/01/2020 19:44

If you go to the bingo tab there is a 'free' option.

whereareyousleep · 07/01/2020 20:18

@patapoof I messaged them to say I couldn't log in and they have replied saying that the project has already ended and that's why I can't log in so it looks like it's already finished. Which is rather strange as they only emailed me today saying I had qualified Confused

MynameisJune · 07/01/2020 20:25

Just had a look, it’s actually 4 in 4000. They want 99.9% accuracy.

TheCanterburyWhales · 07/01/2020 20:33

whereareyou- that happened to me with one called Arrow Butler. Got the link to the project, clicked through, it showed "no more work, project is finished". It's still showing in my "work this" column and it was maybe two months ago.

HarrietThePi · 07/01/2020 20:42

Sorry I have asked so many questions but have another one about switching current accounts for the cash offers.

Say I switched to HSBC and got £100 for doing so, and then my current bank did a similar offer, would I be able to take it, or generally is it only for first time customers? And if it's not just for first time customers, is there anything stopping you from basically taking up every offer you can by switching all the time? (I guess you can't take the same offer several times by returning as a new customer repeatedly).

HarrietThePi · 07/01/2020 20:48

I attempted to do the Australian neevo project at about 1pm today. Hadn't seen it before as the invite had been sent to my spam folder. Anyway, I passed the qualifying test but then got the no task available message. Despite not managing to do the task this time it feels good to see signs of potential work and earnings! Especially now the spam mail issue should be fixed. Thanks everyone on this thread and themoneyshed!

Loopyteddy · 07/01/2020 20:55

Wondering if someone can help, I have qualified for a project on Appen and it has a link that says 'work this' so I thought I was good to go. Then it just says about getting an email with the task instructions but I've been waiting for 5 days and still no email.... worries by time I get it the task will be gone. Is this what usually happens or have I missed something?

DontCallMeDarling · 07/01/2020 21:06

@Loopyteddy unfortunately this is not uncommon. send a support ticket.

penguin2020x · 07/01/2020 21:07

if you apply for an appen project anyone know how long it usually takes before you hear anything back? its been in my active processes for days but says theres nothing for me to do at the minute- wondering if I did something wrong ha!

whereareyousleep · 07/01/2020 21:10

@loopyteddy I'm having the same issue with that too. Not having a good day qualified for 2 tasks one had already finished and the other says wait for an email which I have never received.

Loopyteddy · 07/01/2020 21:16

@whereareyousleep I'm glad it's not just me. I kept reading it thinking I must be doing something wrong! I was eager to get started as I qualified for something

TheCanterburyWhales · 07/01/2020 21:24

Have you clicked through on the "work this" button?
One of my Appens sent me an access code, the other just said I'd be added to the tool after I'd read the instructions on the link they sent

Penguin- no telling unfortunately. I have just started (Dec) after applying for everything that I can. I started applying on the very first of Otterses threads last year. I currently as of today am working 2 projects and have 39 more "in progress".

Rainingdogsandcats · 07/01/2020 21:37

Have just tried to join Appen but says I must attach my resume, or business profile. I have neither. How do I proceed?
