So... Anyone up for an earn £10 a day 2020 thread?

HAPPY NEW YEAR Crown Grin

For anyone who wasn't with us last year, we all set about trying to earn £10 a day on top of our usual income. No MLM schemes or anything dodgy. There were some fantastic amounts achieved, mat leaves extended, babies conceived, and redundancies survived. I know the thread got a bit confusing to follow for new starters, but please don't be intimidated! You don't need any special skills or anything to do any of this, it's all really accessible and I promise we'll all try to be clear about what sites/terms are so no one gets too lost Smile

I haven't had time to put a full list together, and to be honest I want to pop off and go make the most of the content on Crisp Thinking (social media moderation site averaging around £10 per hour) but I was planning on popping up a list a bit later today.

I've signed up to Appen and saw an ad on money shed for Lionbridge too I'll see what comes up.

I could do with an extra £300 a month just to clear a few debts so I have my fingers crossed.

ememem84 · 03/01/2020 16:21

£36 cashback from coral. Had to deposit and bet £10. But won the money back (almost - £8 winnings).

EvilHerbivore · 03/01/2020 16:38

Does anyone know how long 20cogs takes to pay out usually?

hoopdaloo · 03/01/2020 16:40

I'm in. I've lurked for a while on last years threads but literally no idea how to get started. I've dabbled with online surveys before with little return. I'm very curious about matched betting but despite reading past threads, and other blogs etc I still do not get it!

Signed up for a few things today.

otterses · 03/01/2020 16:52

Finally sorted out Freetrade and got a share worth £20 if anyone is still interested in giving it a go. You need to deposit £1 to qualify Smile please feel free to share your referral link here if you do sign up.

freetrade.io/freeshare/?code=CNN9RFHTUN&sender=BmC1SSBN You should sign up to Freetrade! It’s an app for investing in the stock market with no fees. Plus, when you sign up, we both get a free mystery share!

Yes please to another referral link for freetrade. Otterses link is used up!

Catatemyhomework · 03/01/2020 17:45

Thanks @Otterses, I have used your referral link. When my top up goes through, I'll hopefully have a referral link I can post here for someone else. Out of interest @Otterses, have you bought any additional shares with them? I have topped up just £5 but thought that would be ok. Think it takes a while to clear.

MynameisJune · 03/01/2020 18:37

Interested in a free trade code as well if anyone else has one

xxxxtonixxxx · 03/01/2020 19:24

How do I join this? Sorry I'm new to mums net

usernamegoeshere · 03/01/2020 19:35

£27.50 matched betting today.

Registered with Appen but applied for a project and now I cant apply for more until that process is complete. But that's fine, no rush I guess!!

Put a couple of childrens bits on ebay, crazy world we live in where a primark party dress has about a zillion watchers/bids already but a beautiful joules coat has no interest at all.

Did some 20cogs, made it to cog 8 / £31, so will finish at the weekend, I assume you get paid once you reach cog20? One of the cogs was a readily trial, so i think that's my evening sorted!

Spartonian · 03/01/2020 19:41

@usernamegoeshere with 20 cogs, you need all cogs to be green before you can withdraw.

I'm going struggle with mine as I don't have spare money to use for sign ups.

TheCanterburyWhales · 03/01/2020 19:56

Just got onto Sitka (am not in UK) after (presumably) passing the test. (at any rate it disappeared from my in progress and I got access to the rating page)

So, the old adage about buses is true, you wait 12 months at the Appen bus stop and 2 come along in a week.

I shall try not to die of boredom looking at all these ads Grin and just be very very grateful that I hung around on there and didn't give up.

Sally- lots of us applied to Lionbridge as well as Appen last year- you can't work for both, but until you've been accepted onto one of the two, keep going!

butterflykiss00 · 03/01/2020 20:11

@otterses I'm in, started with you when you done it last year but changed user name !

Spartonian · 03/01/2020 20:35

Failed Crisp again.

Where is the best place to give me as much information on matched betting, I have never done online betting, so it needs to be very clear and idiot proof.

macaroniandpizza · 03/01/2020 21:18

Stuck at cog 15 on 20cogs 🤬 2 offers that i cant do as have accounts with said companies already and cant move on. Grrr! 77.50 (albeit not mine yet) down the swannie it seems

themoneyshed · 03/01/2020 21:49

@spartonian

There is a total beginner's guide to matched betting here which is utterly idiot-proof! ;)

NannyPear · 03/01/2020 22:26

Prolific surveys that need a desktop are starting to piss me off... My old thing takes 5 minutes to boot up. Makes the 60p reward less tempting.

seizethecuttlefish · 03/01/2020 23:02

Anyone doing the isoftstone voice recording project? I just got the instructions through and it looks really complicated. I'm getting flashbacks to Appen Fletcher! Confused

Catatemyhomework · 03/01/2020 23:05

I've done it seizethecuttlefish. It's ok once you get started. The hardest part for me was constructing the sentences.

themoneyshed · 03/01/2020 23:08

On the screener, I found Copy and Paste VERY useful lol

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/01/2020 23:12

Last month was my best yet

£40 ebay
£20 prolific
£30 clickworker
£34 ohmydosh
$10 respondent
£5 shoppix

Lets see what 2020 brings!

Boobahs · 03/01/2020 23:12

@NannyPear Same here!! I rarely go on my old laptop, it would be much easier if they were all designed for mobile phones!

themoneyshed · 03/01/2020 23:34

@nannypear

you may want to look at QuickThoughts which is an iphone / android friendly survey site!

10adayfor2020 · 03/01/2020 23:35

Hello! can I join you all please? I tried to read the last thread at the end of the year but it was so far gone I had no idea what was going on.

I have signed up for crisp and got 19/20, but from reading this thread i'm guessing it might be a long time before I hear anything.
I signed up for appen and got accepted and told to apply for projects. it is now on the we're reviewing, will email if discrepancies etc,. anyone know how long it takes for this to go?

I was already doing the chat messages thing, and made £15 today with that, so my total today is £15. hoping to get it to 20 a day once appen starts. Is this realistic?

HarrietThePi · 04/01/2020 00:01

@Cutegiraffe

I asked the same question in the previous thread (how to get money more instantly).

The one that was most helpful for me was Qmee. There is a website and an app. I only use the app to do surveys. I have made just over £20, which isn't loads but it's the best I've ever done off of surveys. And the best thing is there is no minimum payout. I waited until I had £10 both times before withdrawing the cash but you don't have to do that. The cash is instantly transferred to PayPal and you then can transfer it from PayPal to your own bank account instantly too.

I did sign up to Roamler and Be My Eye - these are apps and I think the work is mainly mystery shopping. I've got limited mobility so these ones aren't great for me though I believe that some of the tasks are telephone ones (so calling up stores to ask certain questions and reporting back). If you're able to get out and about install the apps and they show tasks in stores that are local to you.

I also signed up to 20cogs, a fair while ago. But so many of the cogs need you to spend a little money. Nothing major. £1-10 is about the average and the rewards you get are higher than what you spend. 20 Cogs doesn't pay out until you have completed 20 cogs - each cog is like a task. But this will be no good if like me you don't have £1-20 to spare for signing up to the various offers.

I'm on swagbucks and ohmydosh too, but haven't had much joy with either yet.

And today (after seeing it recommended on ohmydosh) I have signed up to Pureprofile. I think it might be surveys too. I'm a bit dubious about this one, after spending quite a lot of time giving them a fairly high amount of information I've yet to see any way of earning.
