I know only 1 person per household can sign up to Appen and that if you work for Appen you can't work for Lionbridge. But was wondering since I am working for Appen could my husband sign up with and work for Lionbridge?

Tapbath · 03/11/2019 15:43

I just read about this on reddit, seems to be a maybe depending on the projects

@spockpaperscissorslizardrock signed up for both. You should get the payments once I've received the cards and made a transaction

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 03/11/2019 16:23

@rhij86 thanks! I have the £6 from Revolut in my account already! Monese says 1 referral pending Smile

Hi, just stumbled across these threads. I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, it has been asked upthread, but I can't see an answer. Am I correct in thinking that these earnings are to be declared with Universal Credit? Just like a second job would be?

Secondly, I have a full time job working 39 hours a week. Is it easy to do some of these as well? Is it worth looking into. I want to earn a nice figure a month, but worried if its worth it. How much time does it take I suppose I'm really asking there?

Otterses · 03/11/2019 17:26

@RunningNinja79

It does need to be declared, taxed, etc. UNLESS ... it's matched betting.

I work 37-40. I earn around £400 ish a month not putting an awful lot of effort in to be honest. I get up at 5am, do an hour before work, then maybe an hour in the evening.

RunningNinja79 · 03/11/2019 17:36

Thank you Otterses

People using Ohmydosh! ive just signed up but am wondering about some of the gambling site deals, when they say 'play through all your cash plus bonuses' what do they mean?

keeperofthetrolls · 03/11/2019 21:36

Hi all
I've been lurking in the shadows during october and some of your earnings are AMAZING! So far I have

  • Completed the Crisp test (scored 17) and waiting to hear back.
  • Signed up to Mystery Shoppers and completed 2 so far and been paid £4 for a 5 minute phone call.
  • Earned £8.56 in Prolific
  • Earned £17 in Populus live (I do love election time for extra the surveys)
  • Installed Gener8 to chrome and have amassed 150pts (mainly from browsing on here) in 3 weeks.
Here's my referral link for anyone who want to try it. refer.gener8ads.com/r/u0uXjW

As you can see I'm nowhere near £10 a day but I'm just getting warmed up. You all inspire me and fingers crossed I'll be reporting much better figures in december

For anyone interested in online English teaching, there is a Facebook group called Hired online English teachers (or sth similar) where the chuggers from various companies (and there are gazillions) do their recruiting. Lots of the companies offer similar setups to Cambly where you don't need a qualifii as you are just chatting in English to foreign students. Others have different routes in, either chatting for the non qualified or non degree holding, and a teaching route for others. Palfish is another.
(my Cambly video was rejected too, and I've been teaching ESL and teacher training for 25 years which made me laugh a bit)

rhij86 · 04/11/2019 09:11

So does anyone have any fresh new ideas for earning some extra £ this month or is everyone sticking to the usual stuff on here?

Frenchdoors1 · 04/11/2019 09:29

Hi @rhij86
Well, it looks like I'm going to be doing the usual stuff.
Still waiting for appen projects thst are hanging in mid air.
Waiting to hear if I get any of the 3 jobs thst I've applied for on Respondent.

MoreMoneyPlease · 04/11/2019 10:55

I've been doing this for about six weeks now. Last month my best earners were:

Clickworkers £80
Ebay £40
Userbrain £30
Intellizoom £30
Mystery Shopper £20
Neevo: wait and see!

So all small amounts but better than nothing.

@rhij86 No new ideas, I'm afraid but always looking! I saw something about being a polling clerk which might be of interest?

rhij86 · 04/11/2019 11:08

@Moremoneyplease thanks! Will look into polling clerk and userbrain (not heard of that one before!)

TheLolaMontez · 04/11/2019 14:06

Is anyone else on project crescent with Appen?

seizethecuttlefish · 04/11/2019 14:13

Bane anyone had any invoices generated yet? Really aware that it's due to be submitted tomorrow and I have nothing for this!

TheLolaMontez · 04/11/2019 14:21

I haven't got anything for bane either @seizethecuttlefish Confused

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 04/11/2019 14:24

No new ideas here either, doesn't seem to be much happening for me today.

At the minute i'm trying to tick of all the boxes on a game of Swago on Swagbucks!

TheLolaMontez · 04/11/2019 14:32

So slow for me too @SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Sad I've gone back on cloudworkers for a bit. Did some little tasks on clickworker earlier but they only seem to be a one time thing. Urgh. It's been such hard work these past couple of weeks Sad

Bemystarlord · 04/11/2019 14:39

@TheLolaMontez I’m on crescent 🖐🏻

Bemystarlord · 04/11/2019 14:41

Anyone who is looking for other ideas are you on Utest? Im currently doing one that is quite similar to an Appen voice one and they have lots of varied jobs not just website testing so may be worth a look.

TheLolaMontez · 04/11/2019 14:43

Ah hello my midland friend @Bemystarlord Grin so, crescent... I seem to get booted off loads of tasks for "not meeting strict guidelines" and I have to be cooled off for 24 hours Hmm does this happen to you too? It's really frustrating as I'm sure I'm not actually doing the tasks incorrectly.

rhij86 · 04/11/2019 14:45

@Bemystarlord I'm on utest but keep forgetting to check it! Will take a look :)

GachaBread · 04/11/2019 14:53

@TheLolaMontez do you know what day of the month cloudworkers pay out?

TheLolaMontez · 04/11/2019 15:03

@GachaBread - I think it's normally within the first 10 working days of the month (don't quote me though) Smile
