Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

I've done ten tasks on Bane and now have a

Moremoneyplease · 18/10/2019 11:01

Oops, pressed too soon!

I have a message: 'There is no work currently available in this task.
Unfortunately, there is no work currently available for this task, but there might be soon! Please check back in a few minutes.' Have other people had the same?

rhij86 · 18/10/2019 11:03

@moremoneyplease I just managed to log on during a break in work. Managed 3 tasks and then got the same message - guess that means the work is finished for now? I'll check back around lunch time.
I wonder if this was a one off task or whether we'll continue to get batches through like this?

rhij86 · 18/10/2019 11:06

There are some £10 tasks on clickworkers at the moment if you have an iphone (I don't Sad )

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 18/10/2019 11:12

I managed 2 tasks on Bane before i got the message!

Did anyone have problems with websites not loading? It happened to me a few times.

rhij86 · 18/10/2019 11:24

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock yes I had that issue for some as well

ArthurShelbysTash · 18/10/2019 11:31

Thanks @rhij86 fingers crossed. Enjoy date night!

obviouslymarvellous · 18/10/2019 12:03

Is anyone doing the iPhone tasks on clickworker? I cannot get the vision app to open the url and have followed what they have said - it's driving me mad now ⚠️

CatHopeful · 18/10/2019 12:04

I managed a few of the Banesecond round tasks this morning. Just sat down hoping to do some more and they've all gone :(

I have an ancient iPhone 6, so can't do the Clickworker jobs either.

Zepilidi · 18/10/2019 12:06

Did anyone have problems with websites not loading?

They kept auto putting in a slash both for the button links and when you put thr link into the boxes, it would add a /, which made some sites do a can't find error like on wiki,
Another problem was it auto put https but not all sites have which made some fail to load.
I removed the https and slash for ones where that was a problem then judged but no idea if that was right call! (but for some they just wouldn't load regardless)

Moremoneyplease · 18/10/2019 12:10

@obviouslymarvellous The clickworker one is driving me mad, I've done it before and had problems with it. I'm on the 'game' (so to speak...!!) and I can't access the newspapers. I know from before that if you don't get on the newspapers within ten minutes or so, you can't finish the task and get the code for payment so I ended up closing it. Very frustrating as it's a good task for £10!

SNISR · 18/10/2019 12:12

@obviouslymarvellous when I click on the click it keeps taking me back to the App Store when I've already downloaded the app. It's so frustrating!!

obviouslymarvellous · 18/10/2019 12:12

@Moremoneyplease I can't even get the vision app to open it's just constantly goes to App Store and then I go back to link and nothing - think I'm giving up! I have messaged clickworker but no reply x

obviouslymarvellous · 18/10/2019 12:13

@SNISR glad it's not just me! What browser do they mean to open with?

Moremoneyplease · 18/10/2019 12:15

@obviouslymarvellous I've no idea, they say not to cut and paste the link, but I don't know how you'd get it into a browser otherwise!

SNISR · 18/10/2019 12:17

@obviouslymarvellous no idea what they mean by browser, instructions arnt clear at all! 😅
I have a palfish class starting in 15 mins so I've given up as it says it takes half an hour to complete the task.

Moremoneyplease · 18/10/2019 12:21

@rhij86 I hope there are more batches coming, I want to be one of the full-time Appen people! Good luck for date night Wink

obviouslymarvellous · 18/10/2019 12:23

On the upside this thread is great! Long time lurker but long term prolific/respondent user have applied for a few on Appen and have been approved so thanks to you all :)

Moremoneyplease · 18/10/2019 12:34

@obviouslymarvellous Yes, it's great, isn't it? I've discovered so much!

Onehellofaride · 18/10/2019 13:02

Passed the Crisp assessment! They are sending me my login details so hopefully I can start next week!

Frenchdoors1 · 18/10/2019 13:30

Hi all the clickworkers.
I'm just letting you know that I have just received an email saying there are technical issues and payments most likely will not be paid by the beginning of next week.
You should get an email, just thought I would let you know.

rhij86 · 18/10/2019 13:40

@frenchdoors1 yes I just had the email. A pain! But should mean a higher payment for me when it does go through as more of the pinterest stuff will have been approved.

CatHopeful · 18/10/2019 16:25

A question for shift people on Crisp - did anyone else find that they went in MEGA quick time today? Next week is half term so my availability isn't great anyway, and I only wanted to pick up one, max two per day, but I only managed to get one shift I could do for the entire week :(

NCforsafety · 18/10/2019 16:48

Thanks for this thread - bloody brilliant.

Have finally done Bane and Noyo on Appen.
Done 25E on clickworkers this week.
Re-submitted application for Crisp and passed again.

Monthly total so far from Prolific, Respondent, Qmee, Clickworker and User Testing is £270. I budgeted for £100 so I'm very happy. Not including Appen money as it won't pay till November.

Wanted to say usertesting.com is making the most for me at the moment - $70 today alone (best day so far as had time!) and it's really easy once you've done the first test one which is a bit anxious as you feel like a nob talking to your computer. Would recommend it if you don't mind sitting there talking to yourself (computer or phone).

Need one more sign up on gener8 if anyone's feeling nice - please?

@CatHopeful that happened to me too. I am really gutted as I need those shifts 😫
