Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@BlackCatFan I still haven't heard anything further about my Peppermint application unfortunately.

BlackCatFan · 12/10/2019 14:44

@CatHopeful I wouldn't worry too much as I worked out you can earn the same amount doing click worker anyway, and it's the same work. I got to €11 this morning before being kicked off. 🙁

Kandgmummy · 12/10/2019 15:41

Has anyone tried 20cogs? Thought it seemed quite straight forward and looked like a nice little payout however I’ve just clicked and realised I need to complete all 20 cogs before payout 🙄 do they actually payout?

SNISR · 12/10/2019 15:58

How long are we blocked from Pinterest ratings once we are kicked out?

SNISR · 12/10/2019 15:59

*clickworker Pinterest ratings

FridayNightLightss · 12/10/2019 16:03

I got kicked out yesterday, tried clicking again about 2mins afterwards and it let me back in! Not sure if it was a bug that I got back in or its only a short kick out? I've been back in and doing it since then.

PleaseHelpM3 · 12/10/2019 16:06

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking for ages but think I perhaps qualify to join in now as....

I've made over £200 ebay selling in 2 weeks! First sale on 27 Sept and I just added one or two auctions each day. Fairly shameful actually as it's all stuff/clutter that's been used for ages, predominantly from the attic so won't even be missed around the house.

TheLolaMontez · 12/10/2019 16:28

Been doing some more clickworker today. I'm finding it pretty boring though I have to say. Does anyone have any tips to make it more bearable to complete?

FridayNightLightss · 12/10/2019 16:30

I've just been having Netflix on in the background, just finished watching a documentary on Bill Gates while doing clickworkers!

SNISR · 12/10/2019 16:43

I only started rating on clickworker yesterday. jobs I'm assigned to are blocked after I made mistakes, but I'm able to do the ones that are not already assigned. I've made £50 since yesterday morning!!!

Itsallsuchamess · 12/10/2019 17:15

@TheLolaMontez
I also have the TV on in the background, maybe that's why I keep ending up on the naughty step! (where I am currently). Agree its pretty mind numbing stuff.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 12/10/2019 17:40

I'm trying to do clickworker whilst the kids are watching tv. It so slow between batches though that i'm getting annoyed!

TheLolaMontez · 12/10/2019 17:59

I did some earlier with the TV on in the background but I got so bored I fell asleep 😂

Frenchdoors1 · 12/10/2019 18:15

@TheLolaMontez

Haha, you were so bored you fell asleep lol.
I did a load a couple of hours ago until I got kicked off for doing some wrong, they don't tell you which ones you're doing wrong though! Everytime I click on a job now it says Oops, Angry
I'm still not sure how it all works tbh.

TheLolaMontez · 12/10/2019 18:26

None of them will load for me now, I guess they've got enough people working them

Frenchdoors1 · 12/10/2019 18:33

Same here, well let's keep trying, somebody is bound to need the loo at some point...

prettyretro · 12/10/2019 19:00

Sorry I'm the completely annoying newbie here to bug everyone on a Saturday night...

What it clickworker? It is similar to qmee?

UpfieldHatesWomen · 13/10/2019 08:59

Hi, I hope you don't mind me joining. I just want to say a big thank-you to Otterses and all the others posting useful information on this thread. I'm in a bit of a tight spot financially and am now about to start working at Crisp! Unlike others it happened within a couple of weeks, so I guess I've been lucky. I've signed up for lots of other things too, but to no avail so far. Has anyone signed up to Utest? I keep getting email messages from them wanting me to pay test a website that looks well dodgy so I'm definitely not entering my card details on that, just wondering if it's legit.

Moremoneyplease · 13/10/2019 10:04

I've done one test for UTest, definitely didn't have to pay to do so!

Moremoneyplease · 13/10/2019 11:18

@prettyretro Clickworker seems to be varied tasks such as reviewing Pinterest pins or websites. I've been on it for a month and made €30 for testing a couple of websites then about €30 in the last couple of days on the Pinterest tasks. Feel free to use my sign up link Smile

ChubRubTub · 13/10/2019 12:24

Has anyone done the English transcriber job with isoftstone? I've been accepted on it - I've got nothing else going on, so might as well give it a try.

It's not transcription in the same way as Transcribe Me etc. It's just short clips you need to check/ add tags to etc.

Fizbo · 13/10/2019 17:03

Has anyone taken the Peppermint test on Appen and found out if they passed?
I submitted mine this afternoon and not heard yet.
I know on other tests I've taken with them you normally find out pretty quickly either way?

Wolfff · 13/10/2019 17:30

Does anyone here work on Lionbridge rather than Appen. I hate the project I'm on and wonder if the grass is greener over there.

Otterses · 13/10/2019 17:54

@Fizbo snap. I think we should hear by the 18th?

It's been a weekend of tests for me! First that, then I applied for a prison officer job on a whim so I've had three daft tests with that today Grin

Fizbo · 13/10/2019 18:00

@Otterses oh I must have missed that bit, thanks.
Good luck with the prison officer job!
