Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock

Do I need to keep the initial £10 deposit in there to keep playing the free games? Or can I withdraw it all?
Also I've gone through topcashback for my insurance products so hopefully you'll have a bonus headed your way soon

BlackCatFan · 10/10/2019 22:11

@SNISR could you tell me where you found the Enterprise job advertised? I had a look on their website and the only position I could see was one where you need to live in Hampshire.

It would be great for me as I live near Leeds so could commute for training.

Buster27 · 10/10/2019 22:18

Just did a quick 15 minutes on crisp. Definitely wasn't as overwhelmed as last night and actually got through some items Grin I've been getting a lot of similar ones which I'm not 100% sure I'm doing correctly (probably overthinking), so I've sent off a couple of queries this time and think I'll feel more confident when they confirm if I've been doing them right/wrong. I don't want to do too many without knowing in case I'm getting them wrong and they get rid of me! I think I will stick with short bursts while I'm getting to grips with it.

SNISR · 11/10/2019 05:27

@BlackCatFan I'm sorry I think the jobs may have expired. There were a few positions on indeed which redirected me to the website to apply.

I suggest book marking the page for future.

Tbh I'm not too sure if I'll be able to go ahead if I get the position as it's 40 hours a week which for me may be too much. I also do palfish a couple of hours a day, and will have to give up for this position as I'm sure the timings will clash. I know I'll make more doing enterprise but if it doesn't work out I'll have lost palfish too.

Thanks @SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock used your link and won £2.70 on the free spins. Bingo starts tonight.

Wolfff · 11/10/2019 06:27

Ooh got a $50 bonus from Payoneer, for having $1000 pass through the account. It will go towards the charges Wink

Otterses · 11/10/2019 06:57

I'M ON PEPPERMINT Grin

@Coconutbug I did for about three months when I was between jobs after relocating and waiting a few months for my background checks to clear. I was about £800-£1000 with not putting in heaps of effort, and I had DS at home during the day so only worked during naps/early morning.

I'm sure I could give up work and WFH long term. But I'm not quite ready yet. There's a few things I want to set up first, like a charity supporting people in finding flexible work, and I'd love to be able to set up something 'different' using Crisps model of just logging in and out, and doing as much as you like.

@Otterses well done!! Glad you got something new :) not looking hopeful for me as mine is still showing as in progress 😫
Fingers crossed for the next one!

SNISR · 11/10/2019 07:25

That's such a fab idea! @Otterses

If you need any help with any of your ideas, please let us know as I'm sure there will be loads on here that would like to help. I'm in, boss! 😊

CatHopeful · 11/10/2019 07:41

@Otterses well done re Peppermint. Mine is still 'in progress' so I doubt it's going anywhere.

Otterses · 11/10/2019 07:58

@SNISR

I'd love to hear any ideas people have of what they'd like to be able to do from home! It's all well and good giving options, but it would be even better if it provided opportunities people were genuinely interested and engaged with. There's a fantastic project I'm contributing to a project at work at the moment that would have been an amazing Appen-Style project from home analysing the suitability of vulnerable adults for interventions and courses. I want there to be more stuff like that out there, across all fields.

I just don't think what we're doing as a society is working, we're all stressed, and lack a work life balance. Opportunities for carers and those with dependants that offer flexibility are virtually non existent. I think our lack of 'time' is linked to so many issues. I know I can only speak for myself and people I know, but I know when we both work a 40+ hour with with a toddler, we're going to cut corners, we'll buy a plastic bag full of stir fry, take the car everywhere, buy takeaway coffee in a cup because we forgot our reusable cups again, all because we're in a rush and it's the faster option. I can't help but think if we all had the choice of carers with greater flexibility, us/the planet would be a hell of a lot happier.

Lots of Pinterest jobs on clickworkers this morning! I got some wrong so have been kicked off 😬

Otterses · 11/10/2019 08:09

@Fizbo

Me too Grin ! I'm sure they'll forgive us in a couple of days.

SNISR · 11/10/2019 08:38

I'm doing the Pinterest ones for the first time. Not sure if I'm doing it right. I do 20 and then get 20 more to do and then 20 more 😅 is that correct?

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 09:04

@SNISR yes that's right!
@Fizbo that's happened to me sooo many times, they unblock you after a day or two so don't worry too much.

Just ploughed through a load on the way to work and made about 7euro - will do more at lunch time if there's any left!

Hope everyone has a good day.

SNISR · 11/10/2019 09:09

@rhij86 @Otterses @Fizbo
Ok so after earning about £6 I've been kicked out too now 😂

This was my first Pinterest project thing and I actually really enjoyed it 😃

Frenchdoors1 · 11/10/2019 09:41

Well said @Otterses!

SNISR · 11/10/2019 09:47

@Otterses 100% with you. There are so people out there that would benefit from this.

I for one am definitely interested in what you are doing.

Moremoneyplease · 11/10/2019 10:08

Great idea @Otterses I've signed up with a few 'flexible working' agencies but they're not really flexible, they mainly mean they've got part-time jobs available, not ones you can work from home or actually do when you want. Also, I've had enough of 'corporate' life and I don't want to ever face another job interview so all the stuff on this thread is perfect for me. I'm just hoping for one of the bigger 'jobs' to come my way!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 11/10/2019 11:08

@rhij86 you don't need to keep the initial £10 in to keep the free spins. I withdrew my winnings last night and won about £6 from 10 spins this morning, thanks @SNISR!

@Otterses i totally agree with you. I only work very part-time (dinner lady) because my oldest is Autistic and needs me after school. Also i have mental health issues probably caused by me being Autistic (undiagnosed but very similar to my son!).

I have a degree and worked in a related field for 10 years before having kids but i just cannot cope with a stressful job at the moment. I love being able to work when i want and not have to talk to anyone lol!

Those reasons above are why i am trying to set up a blog to earn money for us and to help other people do the same. Very early days yet , i only have 62 followers and 9 on my facebook page!

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 11:12

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock ah ok, I'm glad I left the £10 in then! Withdrew my winnings but will make use of more free bingo this evening.
What's your blog? I'll follow!

Coconutbug · 11/10/2019 11:21

@Otterses that sounds like a great idea and I'm sure many parents will thank you for it! You are right it is so hard to work with a child, I am currently on baby number 2 and already stressing out how I'm going to pick up 2 children from 2 different childcare before 6pm with a 5pm finish time!
Love the idea of being able to log in and out when you can. I think this may be very suited to admin style work! I'd be very interested and will try and pick up some more of this when my mat pay runs out and I may or may not find another job.
Grateful for answering my questions thank you!

CatHopeful · 11/10/2019 11:27

I did my first bit of Clickworker this morning on the Pinterest task. Got to just over 9Euros before being booted off which is frustrating. Do they automatically pay into Paypal once the 7 days has passed?

Also completed my first week of shifts on Crisp. Looking forward to booking some more for next week when the allocations open.

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 11:54

@CatHopeful from memory (although I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong) they pay on a Wednesday. So it should show up as available to be paid after 7 days, then it will get sent to your paypal the following weds
