Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@juicy0 it took a couple of days I think for me to get the surveymonkey email through after I got accepted onto noyo.

@Buster27 my peppermint one is showing as in progress too - a shame as that seems like it would have been a nice little earner!

For those mentioning clickworker and the lack of jobs. Keep checking under asessments and eventually you should get the assessment for UHRS jobs. It isn't available all the time but once you pass it, it will then give you access to their other jobs platform.

Frenchdoors1 · 10/10/2019 14:51

@0hmygoodness

Thats great information thank you.
I have checked an odd time but will do so even more now.
Wondered why there were huge amounts of people online.

holdtheladdersteady · 10/10/2019 16:25

Question about Respondent - does anyone ever get any work from them?! I've applied for loads, but only been accepted for one, which was a month ago and was reviewing an app.

Thinking of trying matched betting, but really worried about messing it up!

justtheonethen · 10/10/2019 16:41

@holdtheladdersteady I've had one or two a month for the last few months. Took a while to get the first one though. Definitely worth pursuing.

holdtheladdersteady · 10/10/2019 16:43

@justtheonethen thanks, will keep applying!

juicy0 · 10/10/2019 17:03

Thanks @rhij86 it's good to know all is not lost! Any idea why when I quick the qualify button it takes me back to the top of the page rather than to what I need to do to qualify? Can you only have one or two projects in progress?

justtheonethen · 10/10/2019 17:06

@juicy0 that's weird. I have loads in progress (16 Grin) so I'm not sure what that is about. Try it on your phone/laptop instead?

SNISR · 10/10/2019 17:07

@holdtheladdersteady I got a $150 survey about 4 months ago and then nothing after that until this week. I got 2 $20 ones a few days ago.

Moremoneyplease · 10/10/2019 17:33

@holdtheladdersteady I'm re-reading the Team Profit MB stuff and am going to start in the next couple of days. I'm quite nervous as it looks complicated but I've made almost £200 in the last month from this thread so if I lose it all, it was money I wouldn't have had anyway!

BlackCatFan · 10/10/2019 17:38

I was hoping for an invoice from Crisp today but no sign of one. Is it supposed to be within the first 10 working days of the month?

rhij86 · 10/10/2019 17:56

Does anyone know if any of the cashback sites do insurance (pet and contents) and if so does anyone have a referral code they want me to use?

justtheonethen · 10/10/2019 18:13

@BlackCatFan yes so by end of the day Monday, tomorrow hopefully. I assume the surge adjustments they posted about earlier are slowing them down.

CatHopeful · 10/10/2019 18:17

@Buster27 I'm glad my old posts are helping - hopefully as you can see, we really all have been where you are with it now! Stick with it though, it's really working for me now and totally worthwhile :)

I'm hoping for an invoice tomorrow too, that will give me the weekend to sort it out. Still taking me a while to configure in Excel, even though I've got a template saved!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 10/10/2019 18:18

Topcashback and Quidco both do insurance i think. Might be worth trying both to see which is the best deal.

rhij86 · 10/10/2019 18:36

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock

Thanks - I'll check out the cashback sites once the baby is in bed and I have time to think properly RE insurance!

Just wanted to say thanks for the bingo link - did you get anything for me using the referral?

Anyone who wants to, I suggest you follow spocks referral link for the bingo. I'm up £11.76 just from the free spins!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 10/10/2019 18:41

@rhij86 thanks. I got 10 free spins and won 73p lol!
You have done well, I was only up £3 from
Spins then tenner on the bingo.

Coconutbug · 10/10/2019 19:16

Hi all, thanks for great thread. I am very interested, I've mainly been selling stuff on eBay/Facebook but slowly running out of things. Think I've made about £500 at least over the past few months!
I've been doing alot of surveys but not a great earner.
Does anyone do this as their main source of income?

justtheonethen · 10/10/2019 19:34

@Coconutbug I do Crisp as my main income. It has meant I don't have to go back to work after my mat leave so I'm thrilled Smile.
Also have an Appen project but I'm seeing that as bonus money as I don't know how long it will last.

SNISR · 10/10/2019 19:36

Anyone who is interested in working from home wanting a reliable income, Enterprise rent a car have customer service roles available.

I applied on Friday and have an interview scheduled. The interview is at home through the zoom app.

I feel it's only suitable to anyone who is living closer to Leeds - West Yorkshire as once you have passed the interview and offered the role, you have to go to their office in Leeds for 2 weeks for training.

LeaderoftheAteam · 10/10/2019 20:06

@SNISR have you got a link to the application? I had a look on the website and couldn't see it.

I have been accepted to two tasks on Appen now just waiting for them to start. Sold 2 things on ebay, wasn't alot but at least something. There is a table top sale at a village hall in a few weeks. A table is £10 and I could sell some baby stuff and books. Do you think it's worth it? I suppose if mainly oldies go they aren't going to be interested in party dresses and baby stuff?

Can anyone tell me more about cloud workers, I've been accepted but not too sure about it. I have a partner and kids so I feel a bit funny about it I guess. What kind of stuff do they want to speak about? Do you make stuff up?

Well done everyone

Coconutbug · 10/10/2019 20:16

@justtheonethen thanks for the reply! Looking for something to do after I finish mat leave as not sure my current job will work around it. Will look into it a bit more once mat pay runs out

SNISR · 10/10/2019 20:22

@LeaderoftheAteam the one I applied for seems to have expired, but the link
below seems to be available.

careers.enterprise.co.uk/job/aldershot/customer-support-representative-office-or-home-based/24824/13632517

I suggest bookmark as when I applied last week there were a few work from home roles available. 😊

LeaderoftheAteam · 10/10/2019 21:02

@SNISR thank you! I will keep a look out. Good luck with your interview
