Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

First tome doing clickworkers. I was booted out of Pinterest project too. I logged on a couple of hours ago, couldn't do the ones I was booted out, but was another Pinterest one, which I was able to do. I've earnt €20 so far 😳

Is it like this every day?

whatthewhatthewhat · 11/10/2019 12:14

Any Crispies refreshing email psychotically? I know we don't technically have to be paid until Monday, but it'd sure as hell make the weekend nicer if it was today!

🤣

Bemystarlord · 11/10/2019 12:16

Arrggghhhh having Crisp pressure panic!! Think because i’ve been waiting so long I’ve built it up and i’m so worried i will mess it up. I’ve worked through the course and have emailed to let them know so just waiting to test the test but I am so so nervous. 😬😬

Bemystarlord · 11/10/2019 12:16

P.s @Otterses great news about peppermint :)

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 12:19

@SNISR it's been a few weeks since the pinterest stuff died out, but when I first joined this thread and then clickworkers it was like it for a good few days. I'm sure someone on here said they were regularly making in the region of £75 a week from just the pinterest stuff!

SNISR · 11/10/2019 12:21

Wow wow wow! Thank you. I'll carry on rating then until I get booted out or they die down @rhij86

BlackCatFan · 11/10/2019 12:28

@whatthewhatthewhat yep, checking my emails constantly! Must stop 😬 I'm sort of relying on the money this month, so I'm panicking a bit.... I'm sure all will be fine.

I've been accepted for project Peppermint. But confusing as it looks like you have to wait for batches to come through, so can't start straight away 🤔

Also waiting for a payment from music magpie, which is taking forever!

I had an email notification this morning to let me know that my local Jobcentre are recruiting for work coaches. I've wanted to do that job for so long. Worried about the application, I know what I'll be spending my weekend doing- civil service competencies, yay!

BlackCatFan · 11/10/2019 12:30

Have you been offered shifts yet @whatthewhatthewhat ?

NCforsafety · 11/10/2019 12:35

Hello hope you don't mind a stupid question from me re Appen but I just don't get it.
I've received emails saying I've been accepted for Atascedero and Nifflywhatsit but have had nothing further. Atascedero says 'work this' on the projects page but doesn't give me any instructions.
Am I being very very dim?

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 12:41

@NCforsafety no, I'm having this same issue! Was accepted onto Atascedero 2 or 3 weeks ago now. The guidelines page says you'll get all the info in an email... the email I had said check the guidelines page... Confused
I've sent a couple of tickets to support but not had a reply. Given up waiting now!!
Niffleywhatsit hasn't started yet, so I believe everyone is waiting for more info on that one.

Elmosonfire · 11/10/2019 12:46

@Buster27 sounds like you and I are having a very similar experience with Crisp. It’s quite tough getting the hang of it isn’t it! I worry with all the similar ones that I may well be getting it wrong over and over again! The whole set up seems really good though and I can see me really getting into it so just don’t want to mess it up and get the sack! GrinShock

mydogisthebest · 11/10/2019 13:11

I have also been accepted for Peppermint, Bane and Niffywhatsit but have had nothing further since the acceptance emails.

Not sure what to think to be honest. I have had problems with Appen before. I was accepted for Nile but could never get the rating tool to load either on my laptop or phone. Despite emailing them several times I never got any help and then got a slightly stroppy email saying I was not doing enough work on Nile! About a week later they emailed again saying I was being removed from it as I was not working enough hours! I wasn't working any hours!

I worked some pinterest jobs on Clickworker this morning and although I took my time and really thought about each one after working 3 batches I was told I had made mistakes so could not work any more of them

Fizbo · 11/10/2019 13:14

For anyone kicked off Pinterest I logged back in on a different device and have had no problems since? I stopped at €20 as I'm busy today and also been accepted to Peppermint and Bane curation on Appen. Although no work from either of those yet. Has anyone on Cloudworkers been paid yet? This should be my first moths pay with them and I'm hoping for around £150.
I can't thank you enough @Otterses for starting all of this Thanks

Elmosonfire · 11/10/2019 13:34

@Bemystarlord best of luck with Crisp assessment!

justtheonethen · 11/10/2019 13:55

@Bemystarlord you will be fine. Good luck with it!

Happy with my £80 crisp adjustment for being underpaid- £922 total Smile

I'm totally new to blogging though so it's pretty basic at the moment, hopefully it will get better!

rhij86 · 11/10/2019 14:28

I'm taking part in a paid research panel at 4pm, strangely I'm really nervous!! It's talking about saving for a house and getting on the property ladder. No idea why I am nervous Hmm

justtheonethen · 11/10/2019 14:41

@rhij86 you will be fine, they are always lovely

AliciaWhiskers · 11/10/2019 14:42

Ugh, I'm blocked on the Pinterest tasks. Dammit!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 11/10/2019 14:58

For some reason i haven't had a clickworker payout even though i've had the money payable for a couple of weeks. Anyone know why?

flashingbeacon · 11/10/2019 15:11

Just a quick place mark so I can read at home at my leisure, plan is to go into the new year on a high.

LeaderoftheAteam · 11/10/2019 15:57

Does anyone do anything for Mila? They are asking for lots of ID ect and want to check they are legit.
I've signed up to click workers, how do you apply or get accepted for tasks? Is there a test to sit?

MrsWombat · 11/10/2019 16:12

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock I wondered this too, so I went into the payment settings yesterday and authenticated my paypal. Fingers crossed that works as I've got over EU10 cleared now and another EUR20 waiting to clear.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 11/10/2019 16:33

@mrswombat thanks for that. Not sure how i missed the option the first time!

TheLolaMontez · 11/10/2019 16:43

Clickworker is a bit slow for me again today, not slow enough to get kicked off the Pinterest task though Grin bloody thing!
