Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@Buster27 I think we all felt like that when we started Crisp. I began on the training data too, and thinking back I did not have an 'unsure' option at that point either. Possibly because it was premoderated content? I don't know. Don't be scared to send content IDs for guidance. I sent loads to begin with. I still send the odd one or two now. It took them a little longer than the 7 days to get back to me, but I didn't get any feedback at any point, just an email saying that I could progress to live queue work.

@TheLolaMontez . sounds like you're doing really well. I haven't heard back about my Peppermint application yet - it's still 'in process'. I'm taking that as a bad sign, because with Niffle and Bane the acceptance emails were immediate.

Is anyone doing Ramsey on Appen?

Was it long after applying that you heard about the Appen projects? Do you know if they restrict you if your on Truckee for example

I've received an email from appen saying I've been selected for noyo which is great but it says they've sent me a separate email about my independent agent agreement which I haven't yet received? Any ideas?

Is clickworker mega slow for anyone else or is it just me? The hamster can't be running very quickly today.

Trying to complete appen registration for truckee but it won't accept my mobile number as primary number. I've tried with and without spaces and country code. Can anyone remember the format they used please?

@juicy0 I typed it as normal, but omitted the 0 at the start of my number.

Thanks @CatHopeful but it still says not valid. I've tried dropping the first 0 from my mobile number with and without spaces.

Cracked it! Had to use +44 then the number

Hi all

I've been reading through the last couple of threads and have a question if that's ok?

I'm doing the transcription test for rev and I'm happy with what I've done except for the first bit where there is music. I couldn't see anything on the guidance as to how to deal with that so I've named the first 'speaker' as Music before moving on to Interviewer, Person 3 and then the named person. Do you think that will be ok or should I name them / deal with the music differently?

Also, thank you to everyone who contributes to these threads - you're an inspiring bunch

I'm beginning to think you must all be incredibly patient as I'm finding the appen site really frustrating! I can now see a list of projects but when I click on the qualify button it just takes me back to the top of the page of projects??
On the plus side I've been given the go ahead for noyo but haven't received the email from survey monkey to start and fletcher minor.
