Thank you @seizethecuttlefish Grin

I've just picked up my newly repaired phone! I need to catch up on here.

Aims for the month anyone? I'm going for £600 in hopes of covering Christmas early on.

dimsum123 · 01/09/2019 16:53

@37Otterses, I've been lurking on this brilliant, inspiring thread. Going to start trying out some of the suggestions this month.

Could you please give me a ballpark figure of how many hours it would take you to make £600 in a month?

dimsum123 · 01/09/2019 16:54

Sorry not sure where the 37 came from!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 01/09/2019 17:00

I've made about £300 with Appen this month plus whatever they pay me for Amur and some nice freebies i got from that project.

Also about 25 with prolific and 35ish from gener8 if i can ever cashout!

No website tests this month as the kids are on holiday and are too loud plus i'm shattered!

Really pleased with that for the school hols. Also got paid for my new dinner lady job :-)

Otterses · 01/09/2019 17:48

@dimsum123

Roughly, I'd say 60-70 hours. I really could do it in less, but I like watching Eastenders and other distracting shite while on Crisp Grin

AdaShelby · 01/09/2019 17:52

I'm aiming for 600 this month. Mainly through market research, Crisp and Prolific.

September already! How did that happen?

justtheonethen · 01/09/2019 19:23

I'm aiming for £1k this month on crisp. I made £900 this month and I was away for 5 days so should be doable. Fingers crossed for some scandals Grin

I really need to start saving for ivf, my money has been going on annoying unforeseen things like the car, I did buy dd a very nice new car seat which I am pleased about, also got £30 off as they initially sent the wrong one.

Would really like appen to pull their finger out of their arse and accept me on something, anything. I have had 12 projects in progress for about 6 months.

seizethecuttlefish · 01/09/2019 20:23

I need Crisp to come through! I'm working like mad on things and not really making much.
Appen is brutal because of the payoneer charges. I made $2 after they deducted the charges for the Noyo project. Appen have said I've got a payment of $45 dollars coming but I have no idea when.
I need cloudworkers to pay me but even then I've not hit £100 this month. It's a bit disappointing.
Even Clickworker is quiet. I'll tally it all up later, just needed a moan Wink

Bring on SeptemberSmile. Target £300 again for this month

Grabbygabber · 01/09/2019 22:49

I'd like to join in but I'm completely new to this. Where am I best starting?
I just tried to sign up for crisp but only got 16/20 on their sign up test (pass mark being 19).

Id like to find somewhere I can sign up and do every month to bring in some extra cash around the kids but a bit overwhelmed on where to start.

seizethecuttlefish · 01/09/2019 22:55

@Grabbygabber the links below will give you some ideas. I make about 20/30 between surveys, tracking receipts and other bits. If you can get a regular project through Appen that's good too.

OP posts:
Grabbygabber · 01/09/2019 22:59

@seizethecuttlefish how many hours roughly does it take you to make 20/30? Also is that a month.
I've just looked at apen but it's asking for a cv which I currently don't have. So will need to wait to apply there.

whatthewhatthewhat · 02/09/2019 00:00

Place marking!

DontCallMeDarling · 02/09/2019 01:04

place marking too

Otterses · 02/09/2019 06:12

@Grabbygabber

I think the best starting point is to tell us a bit about you, what skills/time you have, and how much you need to make.

Aspen just want to know you're vaguely coherent Grin so don't stress too much about cobbling together a CV.

Speaking of Appen ... I've had my contract renewed Shock

Grabbygabber · 02/09/2019 07:54

@Otterses think selling myself isn't my strong point but I have two young kids so have every evening plus two fulls days per week, would love to generate £200-300 in a month but appreciate that might take some time to build up to that.
Skills wise I was a customer service team manager for almost 10yrs before kids, so used to using various it systems, putting together projects and presentations etc and managing a team. (hope that helps)

seizethecuttlefish · 02/09/2019 08:26

Well done @Otterses! I've not had anything good on Appen. Wish I did and there doesn't seem like a lot of new stuff happening on it.
@Grabbygabber I do surveys etc on my phone when there is a minute. It just depends what there is. Using shoppix for receipts has netted about £5/month, easily. Intellizoom are good, if you meet the requirements for the survey, it's quick and easy. There are loads of bits and bobs you can do.

OP posts:
Grabbygabber · 02/09/2019 08:50

@seizethecuttlefish what sites/apps do you use for surveys. I tried surveys in thr past and was doing hours a day for like 10p I did hours and never got a payout. Do was put off by it

anxiouswaiting · 02/09/2019 08:51

Thanks for the new thread!
The income I am getting since joining has finally convinced DH that we can afford a Joie spinning car seat so I am super happy about that! Managed to find it with £40 off too so even happier Grin

My goal is £500 this month, my maternity leave is over Sad and I am on annual leave for 6 more weeks so we will have a bit more money than we have been used to - although dreaded chilcare fees come next!

I'll get my £10 a day from Appen, will try and do more on Crisp this month and then the usual surveys to boost it. I say it every month, but I really do need to get up and running with matched betting! I was hoping DH would do that for us as he has a much more logical brain and I am scared of getting it wrong, but he keeps saying he will look into it and doesn't so I may have to bite the bullet and so it myself.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 02/09/2019 08:59

i like qmee for surveys as there is no minimum payout (my referral link)

qm.ee/28838AAC

justtheonethen · 02/09/2019 09:14

@anxiouswaiting that's the one I've just bought! It's really good Smile

bananamuffin99 · 02/09/2019 10:55

In August I made about £90 from selling stuff on ebay, I had aimed for £100 so I am happy with that :) I only started cloudworkers on 16th August and still managed to send the 1500 messages so I should get around £136 after conversion on 10th September. I think I've also made around $10 from Intellizoom, but it takes 21 days to pay out so nothing in Paypal just yet.

My September goal is £250 on cloudworkers and then another £100 from selling on ebay.

Doseydots · 02/09/2019 13:45

Hi there I am new to this but would like to join if I may?

I did overtime with work yesterday and today I spent £10 less on my food budget so that will go in the pot.

I am also intending on doing surveys and matched betting.

I will look into crisp.

Doseydots · 02/09/2019 13:50

Could somebody explain crisp to me please, not sure what they are about now I’ve googled them !
