Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

I hate to tell you this.... but the results won't be announced until Sunday, don't get up early!!! Grin

Otterses · 23/05/2019 21:44

Wahhhhhh @smurfmonkey Blush sleep deprivation has gotten to me I fear. I'm losing track of the days.

Up early anyway I think! See if it's any better that time of day.

Just wanted to remind you all make sure you're putting EVERYTHING through cashback ... just got a nice surprise £111 that I'd totally forgotten about and that's made my week ! So thought I'd remind you again .

I've found Top Cashback far better than Quidco .

If you haven't joined yet ;

www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/geecreated

I'm going to be back for June .. I know I said this last month but having work issues IRL so need focus . Still doing quite well on a little bit of matched betting and Respondent stuff !

namechangedforanon · 23/05/2019 21:57

I'd also recommend doing the Casino matched bet deals through cashback too .

Check Quidco and TCB and Coupon Arbitrage for the best deal for each site

Otterses · 23/05/2019 21:57

@namechangedforanon

Hope work gets sorted out, and look forward to seeing you on the June thread Grin !

Thank you for the reminder, I withdrew £138 this week from Quidco, amazed me too! About £300ish still pending.

So happy this is going so well for you!

So that was from my holiday last sept and it just cashed now 🤣 so so slow but worth it . Have about another 150 currently tracked in TCB.

No idea about Quidco as haven't checked for ages , TCB seems to always have better percents and had paid out quicker .

Will investigate !!!

namechangedforanon · 23/05/2019 22:08

Wahoo found £52 just sat in Quidco ! Praise to the cashback overlords

Frenchdoors1 · 23/05/2019 22:30

Thank you Otterses

BoeandBall · 23/05/2019 22:51

Can I join? I've just looked at appen and it looks good! I went on crispthinking but it says there's a waiting list??

morekidsthanhands · 23/05/2019 23:06

@otterses from what I've seen, surges do tend to be better earlier in the morning - but even so recently haven't been up to much. They need a new client. A biggie.

morekidsthanhands · 23/05/2019 23:15

@boeandball if you have the time I would absolutely go back and read through this thread and the previous ones.
There is a waiting list for crisp and it takes effort to get into it with tests and things but it is 100% worth it in my opinion.
There was a link posted a few pages back with lots of other suggestions too

Otterses · 24/05/2019 06:24

@namechangedforanon it really varies! I found Quidco was much better for 'set cash' deals. For example, my BT broadband would have only got me £50 on TCB (and excluded offers) whereas Quidco I got £120, am £80 gift card and a free galaxy tablet worth £149! It's worth shopping around Grin

Early morning has failed. DS heard me and decided he wanted to get up too.

Popping in with namechange. Was here ages ago.
Suddenly, after nothing, Appen have awoken. I failed one test but at least I know now my applications haven't been lost in cyberspace.

I always use Quidco, I find them easier with payouts somehow. Though haven't been on tcb for years.

WheelyCote · 24/05/2019 07:43

passed first test
Im on Falcon

WheelyCote · 24/05/2019 07:45

I seem to have Fletcher too. Is fletcher the awful voice one that you all dislike very much?

WheelyCote · 24/05/2019 07:50

Loving the app that let you know when prolific has changes!
Its been an awful week so I havent done any but my phone pings loads through the day and can see the surveys but I've had to just put it on the backburner

MrsGaryLightbody · 24/05/2019 08:08

@Otterses
Thank you Smile any income would be fab but 100 a month would stop me losing my home. Thanks to Dh!
I'll look at Crisp, absolutely no idea what moderation is though Confused
I'll also look at TopCashback.
I can't do matched betting or bingo as I'm crap at that kind of stuff plus I absolutely cannot lay out any £ .

MrsGaryLightbody · 24/05/2019 08:09

Also... you do all realise that you're speaking another language Grin

0hmygoodness · 24/05/2019 08:41

With the Appen projects, are there any that can be done on a computer? They all seem to ask for a smartphone / IOS device.

I have a phone and a really old slow Ipad but I can't imagine spending hours trying to do things on there with my terrible eyesight and fat fingers.
Any projects I can apply for for an old fashioned, sit down at a desktop computer? Smile

mydogisthebest · 24/05/2019 08:56

What is Rattle? Is it an appen project?

I got an email from appen saying I had been invited onto Carmel. I clicked the link in the email and it took me to a questions page. I filled that in then got told I had already applied to appen!

I emailed appen (Tuesday) and have heard nothing. They don't seem very organised

MrsGaryLightbody · 24/05/2019 10:24

I remember an article about someone scanning their receipts and getting vouchers or offers for doing so.
I've keep all my receipts Confused is there a link to this magical site ? And if so can you use old receipts in retrospect?

Otterses · 24/05/2019 10:47

🤬 ...

My DBS certificate has arrived. Looks like I may need to start work sooner than I thought - I was hoping I'd have a bit more time to make enough for that £1350 nursery bill!

I'm on £450 so far. No more time to arse around. I'll be doing four hours of crisp every night and fuck knows what else to make up the difference. Maybe Rattle if I'm lucky 😂

@MrsGaryLightbody Shoppix and Receipt Hog - they need to be no older than 7 days.

It's not as complicated as it sounds, you're moderating content for companies Facebook pages. So if someone posts a comment to Coke saying 'I found a cricket in my can!' You'd flag that up to them as a customer service issue, etc. A lot of it is common sense 😊

@mydogisthebest yes 😊 Rattle is on Appen. Can I ask what email you sent it to? The generic enquiry one I think just throws your email in a pile to be sorted through 😩 I'd imagine with 100,000 people working for them that must take a while to sort through,

@0hmygoodness you'll have to look at what you're invited too - there's so many projects some of us will never have heard of. Yukon and Map related projects are PC/MacBook based.

OP posts:
MrsGaryLightbody · 24/05/2019 11:05

@Otterses I'll definitely try the receipts thing. Shame about them having to be less than a week old lol

The moderator won't work for me as don't have Facebook etc

0hmygoodness · 24/05/2019 11:06

Hadn't realised there were so many projects! Just managed to fail Java twice so messed up there.

Otterses · 24/05/2019 11:20

@MrsGaryLightbody OH YES IT WILL Grin

You moderate through a tool that Crisp use. No need to go on Facebook (though it may be useful to have a 'dummy' account with no friends, name, etc. So you can check content in more detail if needed.)
