Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

Does anyone do matched betting now. I'm thinking about it but very confused even after watching a video about it. Do you have an initial cash outlay?

morekidsthanhands · 22/05/2019 16:15

@pollyshelby more money! Though surges have been few and far between at the minute. They happen because of more content so things will come through quicker too.
I am curious as to what the pays like for the combat, coke etc. Anyone know?

WheelyCote · 22/05/2019 16:51

Looks like Java needs a certain ios. ive switched to a samsung. Is it possible to do java without a phone or tablet or mac? i.e on the pc?

WheelyCote · 22/05/2019 17:00

morekids thanks for the tip!!Grin

what webpage did you use for prolific...the login page or the studies page?
when im out and about I can potentially extra using this Smile especially whilst getting set up on appen and waiting for crisp

goodluckandgodspeed · 22/05/2019 17:03

What is Appen?

WheelyCote · 22/05/2019 17:03

goodluck Prolific seem to approve in 1-3 days so if your doing a couple of surveys a day then once you get going, it may feel like every day.
Just received payment for prolific :)

morekidsthanhands · 22/05/2019 17:05

@difficult you log in to prolific through the app so it's the studies page. It'll make more sense when you get the app it sounds hard work but it's dead easy. You highlight the no more studies text and it notifies you when that changes.

@goodluckandgodspeed

Anyone up for an earn £10 a day challenge this year? http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legalmoneyy_matters/3466885-anyone-up-for-an-earn-10-a-day-challenge-this-year#83772838

@WheelyCote Java can only be done on iOS I'm afraid Sad there's quite a few for Mac only, I just got rid of mine!

@3dogsnorth yes, you need initial outlay of £25 minimum I would say, the more cash you have the faster you can work through the welcome offers. I'd keep watching different guides until it 'clicks'. It's one of those things that sounds more complicated than it is. I found the profit accumulator site very helpful, but there are loads out there.

@morekidsthanhands @PollyShelby

STAR WARS. I'll happily put money on the release day being the biggest surge of the year.

morekidsthanhands · 22/05/2019 17:41

@otterses got all excited then googled it. Bloody December. I could do with a good surge - lack of them means I have no excuses to not work on my uni work haha.

Otterses · 22/05/2019 17:47

@morekidsthanhands Grin there's bound to be another big one soon. We just need someone to say something incredibly offensive or for Brittany Spears to shave her head again. That sort of scale.

Otterses noooo damn it! lol and awwww....I thought you were on Java?

Ive applied to Yukon but not heard back yet. need to have a look at the others tonight

FatandSassy · 22/05/2019 19:26

I've had no completion codes for any surveys on prolific yet. It's getting really annoying, I've only done three, the first one I missed (typical) as I closed the page too quickly, the last two have had no codes and just a "return to prolific" box to click. Anyone else?

OnlyBejoking · 22/05/2019 19:53

Is it okay to apply for everything possible with Appen and see what sticks? I'll be over-committed if they accept me for everything and wouldn't have time.

MrsKappa · 22/05/2019 19:59

How did you get on with Rattle in the end reddA? I was invited to try the test too but it actually looks very involved! Two days is not enough time for me to study all the material and practice I don't think!
I've been trying to pass Crisp and can't - about 5 attempts and always 16 :(

PollyShelby · 22/05/2019 21:05

@FatandSassy the nocode ones will be paid, just take a little longer.

WheelyCote · 23/05/2019 06:33

Ive been accepted for a job, :)

Anyone experience with Mayan? is it awful or alright?

WheelyCote · 23/05/2019 06:45

or it might be Tigris....its in the email trail. Tigris alright or awful?

WheelyCote · 23/05/2019 06:46

and how often do we get paid from appen? monthly?

MrsKappa · 23/05/2019 07:27

Well done @WheelyCote. I have no experience with Tigris but payment is regular - invoices submitted on the 1st, within a few days you are told if it is approved and then payment usually the 13th or 14th - nice to get something mid-month! :)

WheelyCote · 23/05/2019 08:00

Thanks MrsKappa do you prepare your own invoices of the time spent on work or do they record the time you spend?. Hope that makes sense

Otterses · 23/05/2019 08:18

@WheelyCote it varies depending on the project. It'll be in your guidelines once their issued, should be under 'academy'. Some projects auto generate times on your invoice.
