Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

Newbie here, Thanks so much for the suggestions. Ive been reading through some of the threads and have applied today to crisp, scored 19/20 and have been added to the waiting list so fingers crossed 🤞

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 15:51

How are you all applying for Crisp, is there a link? I google it, came up with the site and found a page that said 'No position available at the moment'. Plus, is it only for UK based people?

Thanks for the threads, have been a lurker for a long time Grin

Cheers Otterses , much appreciated. Have been working online for 18 months now for another provider but want to make sure I keep my options open. Off to check out link now.

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 16:05

I think I've read that Lionbridge, who I work for at the moment, dont like folks to be working for other companies at the same time. Does anyone know anything about this? I don't want to lose the current gig prematurely.

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 16:32

re: crisp, I just did the online test and recieved the following

"Thank you for your interest in becoming a Crisp Risk Analyst Contractor.

You have now been added to the waiting list.

If an opening comes up that suits your availability and skills, you will be contacted by email."

Does that mean I passed the test?

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 16:32

received

PollyShelby · 19/05/2019 16:40

@usernamepinched you'll get an email soon telling you how many you got right.

Otterses · 19/05/2019 16:49

@usernamepinched scroll down and there should be a score out of 20.

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 16:59

Thanks. Just checked my email and I received 18/20. Going to try again and see if I get more (or less!).

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 17:02

I'm not sure how they are marking the test. I took it again and for a few of the questions I selected more than one answer and somehow I've come out with 19/20. I don't think they are penalising for incorrect selections, so it might pay to select a few answers if you are in doubt for each question?! Weird. Anyway, I have now achieved the pass mark and so am legitimately on the waiting list. I'm not in the UK so have no idea what the market for jobs might be like in my current home country.

Otterses · 19/05/2019 17:36

@usernamepinched they do penalise for incorrect answers, some of the quiz questions have multiple answers Smile

Started dabbling in MB again today, should be £11.10 up or have a £10 free bet to use later.

Going to hit Crisp hard next week. Aiming for one bet per day. Plus Nile. So £30 a day minimum.

Hi, have a couple of questions for those of you who do Crisp, I am one week in. Firstly, I haven't received my dashboard log ins, chased this up, was sent a link to reset my password, but didn't receive the email notification that was sent, tried several times to no avail, now chasing support and have no idea about this. Secondly, have no idea how I'm doing, does anyone get feedback? Feel that I am making some mistakes, worried about being penalised/sacked. Could also really do with knowing how much I am earning, hence the dashboard. Has anyone else experienced similar? Thanks

Afternoon and hello to the newbies like me

Not long finished work and tired but about to eat so bonus

Otterses how many Axie's have you now? I had a quick look at the site and not sure i understand it but it looks like fun.

Username Lionbridge have a list of other companies that they will dismiss if your found working for them. Appen (Butler Hill) is one of them. Crisp wasnt on their list. I'd applied for lionbridge too...Im waiting to see who I can signed on faster with, appen or lionbridge.

Lanister Nooooo! you did the same as me. Its frustrating isnt it lol. Hope you've applied through the Agent route now. I keep checking my status not that im desperate or anythingBlush. It hasnt changed. Hoping to be another step forward early in next week.

WheelyCote · 19/05/2019 17:55

Beemybaby Welcome! If they've let me stay as annoying and terrible with grammer as I am...can't imagine they'd kick you outSmile.

Thanks for the ideas of the online working sites. I dont teach per se but I technically could in my area of work, so will have a look at that. You never know

usernamepinched · 19/05/2019 18:42

WheelyCote · 19/05/2019 19:00

Pineapple did you email Crisp back or Appen?

Otterses · 19/05/2019 19:01

@WheelyCote I'd leave Appen be Grin they refuse to give updates.
