Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

@Otterses I did it on the iPad but had the printed guide next to me.

Octopus37 · 11/05/2019 07:12

Thanks for the info Smurfmonkey, makes it a bit easier

mydogisthebest · 11/05/2019 08:28

I got an email yesterday evening from Lionbridge saying I may be a good fit for one of their jobs. They have sent me through documents and a test I thin (I haven't looked at them properly yet).

That would be good and mean I can stop hoping appen ever accept me. I would probably do Lionbridge and matched betting.

What's the work like for Lionbridge, is it reasonably easy?

flowerstar19 · 11/05/2019 11:54

Hi all, me again! I just applied for Appen for the 'Micro Tasks', reckon I can find the odd hour here and there, hopefully - should I apply for 'Raters' too? Grateful for any input! That would mean writing my first CV in 14 years, ha!

anxiouswaiting · 11/05/2019 12:53

Do you have a link for Leapforce please @WheelyCote. I have heard of them before but when I looked for them I just keep finding they have been take over my Appen?

I am also signed up to isoftstone and have been offered a transcription project but the training seems very long and actually it is quite difficult as the audio is pretty poor so I may bow out from that.

Finally got the Carmel application stuff all finished for Appen only to login and find there are no tasks available so that is a bit annoying, still have 3 other projects going through the application process.

WheelyCote · 11/05/2019 15:27

Im loosing the will with redwigwams ergistering process. Hoop after hoop. Give me strength. All this for 7.50 + upto 6pound expense. Might give this task a miss and leave redwigwam for a day or so grhhhh Is anyone else registered with redwigwam? did you find it as equally frustrating?

anxious Ive been trying to find leapforce but I think it was bought out by Appen and is now appen. If i find anything to say the contrary I'll share the link.

WheelyCote · 11/05/2019 15:30

Registered for a project with lionbridge. WIll wait to hear. Applying for it has meant I now have an upto date CV which is a bonus :D

Just realised I seem to miss out all grammar, sorry guys

Beardsticklemyfancy · 11/05/2019 21:41

How and where are you all selling your wee?! I have lots of it. Should be worth a bit :)

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 11/05/2019 23:45

Selling wee?????Confused

Otterses · 12/05/2019 07:32

@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes @Beardsticklemyfancy DO NOT TRY TO SELL YOU WEE 😂 that's quite illegal.

It's been linked to a couple of times on the last page - clear blue want samples of urine in exchange for love to shop vouchers.

justtheonethen · 12/05/2019 07:57

Also on the clear blue trials- if anyone is ttc then they run a regular trial that involves you using their ovulation tests and sending your wee off. Think it's a £50 love to shop voucher but you also get the ludicrously expensive ovulation kit for free which is fab if you are trying for a baby!

Otterses · 12/05/2019 07:59

 I must find a link @justtheonethen Shock

I honestly can't believe how fab crisp is. Super easy to make £10 a day (at least) especially if you work during a surge. This thread has been brilliant, thank you so much for helping me find a great way to make some cash without having to leave my little girl. I'm on £280 and I only started last Sunday.

justtheonethen · 12/05/2019 08:12

@Otterses uk.clearblue.com/survey

They don't want me as I'm breastfeeding 😭

justtheonethen · 12/05/2019 08:13

Oops sorry @Otterses didn't realise you had already posted it!

Otterses · 12/05/2019 08:18

@justtheonethen how rude of them Shock !

To be fair, I doubt they'll want me with PCOS and endometriosis Grin

Wondering if anyone on this thread is outside the UK but still earns from Crisp, Appen etc?

Thanks to everyone for sharing their wisdom!

justtheonethen · 12/05/2019 08:32

@Otterses i expect they will. I did it before and was under the fertility clinic for treatment. I'm not sure they asked but maybe they did!

justtheonethen · 12/05/2019 08:32

@Galanta crisp take people from any country except one- Dominican Republic I think. Something to do with payment issues with that country.

Otterses · 12/05/2019 08:34

@Galanta Appen is worldwide! As is Crisp to a degree Smile

I think my question got lost in the thread. Can anyone tell me what the Lionbridge exam is like. I am a bit stressed by the amount or studying they say you should take

Otterses · 12/05/2019 08:50

@mydogisthebest can't offer much advice on lion bridge! However there's a blogger (moneyformummy) who wrote a couple of excellent posts about passing and studying the very similar Leapforce exam Smile

OP posts:
mydogisthebest · 12/05/2019 09:02

Thank you Otterses. I will look at that. It seems you only get the one chance at the exam and I am already getting stressed about it when I don't even have a clue what it will entail!
