Hello everyone Grin a new month, and a new thread, and a £280 target to hit!

There aren't song rules, as long as you've made some extra cash. So from eBay to remote jobs to saving money by switching your house insurance provider - it all counts.

There's a list below of the sites mentioned in the previous thread, hopefully I haven't missed too many, but add anything else you think of.

£24.50 on RedWigWam today!

Honestly, I haven't paid enough attention to this. It's fantastic if you do online food shops like me.

Today they had 4 different mystery shop/review product type things for Asda for either delivery or click and collect. I was due a delivery soon anyway, so I added those on. Reimbursed for the products and a £6-7ish extra for reviewing them when they get here. If it all goes to plan, that's the easiest money making I've had all month!

Now ... to crack on with Crisp. It's been a hectic day, so I'm going to revise, then do the test while DS naps tomorrow. It HAS to be done tomorrow though. Or my time is up.

Redwigwam keep emailing me with suitable tasks but when I log on (straight away) they are not in my job list - all I get is sodding baby treats - I don't have a baby!!
I also just got log in details for a typing thing I had forgotten about. Too knackered to start now though, will take a look in the morning.
Waiting on a call for a respondent job @BlockRockinBeats has pimped me out so fingers crossed I get accepted Wink haha

I'm doing UTest academy - it's very confusing!

reddA · 26/02/2019 19:26

Tons of usertesting emails coming through too but my parrot is talking too much for me to take part in a quiet place Hmm

namechangedforanon · 26/02/2019 19:36

Hello hello!

I am back... sorry had a busy week or so but I've done a few interesting Respondent projects ! Even had a face to face breakfast in London with a personal care project.

Really enjoying this but been super busy at work.

I have also got my partner onto matched betting. Hope he catches up to me quickly so he can take me through the more complex offers that I bailed out at!

How are you all doing?

Going to do Football Index now!

namechangedforanon · 26/02/2019 19:42

Otterses - what are you doing from Redwigwam may I ask?

Otterses · 26/02/2019 20:08

That's a shame @reddA I guess it's luck! I did two baby snack offers, and two for some Birdseye chicken things DH will eat.

@namechangedforanon good to see you back Grin I'm just doing the review product tasks on there. Nothing exciting! Now I'm just prepping for Crisp.

Just had the computer test with Respondent - OMG, my camera came on the laptop and a really fit bloke appears, I'm sat here looking like crap in my dressing gown Blush FFS I thought it was a telephone call - I don't even know if I've been accepted, it didn't sound great but will have to wait and see. At least I was dressed I guess!!

Otterses · 27/02/2019 07:03

@reddA Shock

Wait and see I guess!

I've got an absolutely stinking cold, so I think it'll just be Crisp and maybe some comping today between entertaining DS.

£19 on jackpot joy this morning Grin won 9 earlier this week, and 10 today on a bonus box. So I can actually withdraw!

reddA - really interested to know how you get on with the Utest academy.

Disappointed to hear about Nile being closed. I'm still waiting to hear and was looking forward to it. Sad

Otterses · 27/02/2019 10:26

@margaritasbythesea a lot of the time with Nile, etc. You're basically waiting for someone to be kicked off Sad keep an eye on it for that and any other interesting sounding projects.

OP posts:
reddA · 27/02/2019 10:56

@margaritasbythesea I'm quite enjoying the academy, I'm currently waiting to see what the next stage is.
These companies all seem to really over complicate things, why can't they just make the process simple - maybe they are hoping some people will just give up but it's a lot of work, mostly time spent figuring out what you're actually supposed to be doing! Hmm

Numptysod · 27/02/2019 14:12

What other projects are good to do on Appen? Any recommendations?

margaritasbythesea · 27/02/2019 14:43

Thanks reddA - I thought when I looked at bits around the academy that it was prepared for people who already knew what they were doing. I suppose that the people who made it are expert at what they do but don´t have much experience of teaching.

Otterses · 27/02/2019 14:47

@Numptysod Saluda and Truckee are very similar to Nile.

To be honest, apply for everything that fits your time commitments!

I've emailed saying that I'm ready for the Crisp final test 😱 the modules they ask you to do with the mini quizzes aren't as scary as I suspected.

I'm guessing they'll set it up tomorrow. I've decided if I pass, I can have a more expensive TV Unit as a reward 😂 I live the life.

Again, I'm so excited to hear everyone's monthly totals tomorrow. Almost as excited I am for the double bubble bonus on heart bingo.

eBaying has failed miserably. Partly due to cheeky fuckers, but my friend has just told me she's been expecting again so I'm going to pop all of my bits round to hers next week.

OP posts:
duffed · 27/02/2019 17:12

Beware the crisp mod2 program will have a different layout to the training guide and be a much simplified version it threw me!

Otterses · 27/02/2019 17:15

Ohh thank you for the heads up @duffed !

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 27/02/2019 19:25

Sorry haven't had chance to read entire thread but how are people getting on with crisp? I have finished the modules and done test waiting for result...it was bloody hard!

Otterses · 27/02/2019 19:34

@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes was that the out of 20 test or the final assessment :) ?

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 27/02/2019 19:35

The final assessment

Don't think for a minute I will pass that

Otterses · 27/02/2019 19:42

😱 everyone seems to say it's hard @WithAllIntenseAndPurposes ! Fingers crossed for you. I've emailed saying 'I'm ready...' so hopefully I'll do the assessment tomorrow.

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 27/02/2019 19:46

There just seems to be very little information to assess...a few words in some cases with no context

Otterses · 27/02/2019 19:52

Hmmmm @WithAllIntenseAndPurposes ... that doesn't sound great!

Was it quite representative of what you would see as a worker, do you think? As in a lot of it being 'noise'.

OP posts:
duffed · 27/02/2019 20:01

I thought i had done awfully at the test but had actually passed! so think its meant to puzzle you a bit

in the test and update it says 'no risk' rather than noise
