I was informed for the Nile Project, their is a test to pass to be allowed into the project? Is it hard?

JustLurkingAway · 25/02/2019 12:44

Afternoon!

I'm still waiting on Appen, applied for 3 projects 2 weeks ago and the 3 new ones last week, only the new 3 are appearing on the current processes page. Heard nothing yet, keeping my fingers crossed!

Going to have a look at matched betting tonight, still worried about me messing up it or somethingGrin

Frenchdoors1 · 25/02/2019 12:56

Can any of you please give me a brief idea what Quidco is?
Thanks

BlockRockinBeats · 25/02/2019 13:06

www.quidco.com/raf/8979750/

@Frenchdoors1

Quidco is a cashback website like Top Cash Back. Whenever you need to make an online purchase, look on the cashback sites to see if there are any deals on. For example, there was a great deal with Quidco last month where you got £50 cashback for joining Gala Bingo and wagering a tenner.

I have been going through TopCashBack when I do my shopping on Amazon. They pay up to 9% depending on what you buy.

It can take several months for your cashback to be payable so we just see it like a more long term savings (although it tracks quite quickly and shows in your account).

Above is my referral link to Quidco. I will find my other link and post it .

Frenchdoors1 · 25/02/2019 13:10

Thanks BlockRockinBeats
for the advice and link.

Here is the referral link to TopCashBack where I go through to shop on Amazon.

There is an offer on at the moment to get £21 CB when you join Football Index, where a £50 cash bonus is being offered when you deposit £25 and buy players for this amount.

ottersees has provided details of how to apply up thread. I joined last week and my £50 bonus came through at weekend. I have used it to buy more players. I intend to sell them this weekend and they cash out all my money, including bonus.

BlockRockinBeats · 25/02/2019 13:12

@Frenchdoors1 a link to Top Cash Back above. I forgot to tag you.

Frenchdoors1 · 25/02/2019 13:31

Cheers BlockRockinBeats
I will have a good read of it all before I sign up. Smile

duffed · 25/02/2019 15:58

so tomorrow I have a phone interview about a sex advice chat bot for £100 and a respondent call about co-parenting for $40

i have had weeks of not earning much and applying for everything so effort does pay off. still fighting swagbucks/prepaid digital solutions for £35 mastercard vouchers - the site to redeem them is broken and the customer service just tells to call an American phone number. grrr

duffed · 25/02/2019 16:06

Wait... THEY FIXED IT! got my vouchers, phew

Internaljukebox · 26/02/2019 06:17

Wow you all seem to be doing amazingly well on the surveys, Im just worried about having the time to do them? How many hours a week do you dedicate to it?... I'm selling this week. Listing 3 items a day on facebay and doing my first car boot of the year on Sunday.

Otterses · 26/02/2019 07:18

Ugh. Is Betfair down for anyone this morning?

OP posts:
Otterses · 26/02/2019 08:05

Right 😂 I'm going to do my Crisp Thinking assessment tonight. With the modules open next to me for reference.

I'm shitting myself. I've felt less pressure before job interviews.

Numptysod · 26/02/2019 10:22

Has anyone else had this?
Can’t find any other projects

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry we are unable to proceed at this time as there are no available slot for the Nile project. Please note that we will be contacting you if you are chosen to work on available projects in the future?

BlockRockinBeats · 26/02/2019 10:53

@duffed The sex advice bot study sounds er...interesting! I have not come across that one. Is it on Respondent?

BTW @Otterses and @duffed I redid the Crisp test and I got 19 points so I have passed! Whoohoo! Thanks for helping me out with two questions I was stuck on. I had a mental block about spam. How long did you wait until they got in touch with you about the next stage. I am now on the waiting list.

Going to apply for Appen today. It all seems very long winded and complicated from what I have read here but worth it if you get accepted. I suppose this is the way with remote working and no colleague sitting next to you to ask for help.

BlockRockinBeats · 26/02/2019 10:55

@Otterses

Good luck with Crisp! Let us know you get on!

duffed · 26/02/2019 11:35

Congrats @BlackRockinBeats! hope you aren't waiting too long - they seem to be desperate for hands on deck from what I can see.

reddA · 26/02/2019 12:33

Does anyone do UTest?
My Appen still says pending for Tigris and the other 2 have disappeared, keep checking my inbox for anything from them or crisp. Survey sites are all quite slow for me at the moment.

lazymumsmh · 26/02/2019 12:41

SO I finally got an email through from respondent to say my $20 for the YSL/Beauty survey is on its way, yay! Its not a scam Smile just took a lot of emails to the support team.

Prolific has been fairly good to me recently, racked up £15 and waiting on a fair bit more. Did anyone else get the two part survey about the magic tricks?

@duffed the sex advice chat bot! that sounds amazing, where are you doing that?

duffed · 26/02/2019 12:49

its not too weird - its a bot you can chat to if you want to ask about std symptons, sex issues and are too embarrassed to go to a gum clinic. I think i did a survey on swagbucks about it, and then they followed up. I've had a few things like that through swabucks and various surveys - doing an ice cream study and was invited to a product test too though you can never tell what you are doing as they don't title their surveys.

duffed · 26/02/2019 12:50

oh - and the bot is just a sit at home and they'll call me thing, nice and easy!

lazymumsmh · 26/02/2019 14:27

I still need to sign up for swagbucks. Does anyone have a referral code?

BlockRockinBeats · 26/02/2019 14:38

@lazymumsmh Hi there. Here is my Swagbucks referral code. Not used the site much, you have reminded to take another look!

JustLurkingAway · 26/02/2019 18:44

Interesting, had an email from Take Note typing, my application was successful! Definitely didn't forget I applied & did the test. Hanging on for Appen - fingers crossed.
