I've posted the Jeffrey Archer incident earlier on this thread, that was the beginning of the end. But the absolute last straw concerns a death. MIL to be precise. She had a terminal diagnosis about 18 months before her death, and during those 18 months we spent a lot of time at the hospital, in between bottery. We were still being pushed to go to this meeting, that conference, do this do that, by the uplines. Then MIL died and I was speaking to one of the upline bots, who was very sympathetic, and said, take as much time as you need, we'll cover for you.
That's when I thought, fuck this. Could have done with someone saying that to us 18 months ago and we wouldn't have wasted the time we could have had with MIL.

lipbot has had a spa experience unbefitting an "extremely experienced business lady" (she was asked to be quiet in a bar).

@spanfan, I agree! Such an odd mix of sensible feminism, narcissism and lack of self awareness of her own privilege (claims of being skint but having parental safety net). She is also very 'clever' about concealing FL most of the time. Earlier in the year she did seem to coach some people in non MLM business but if you read carefully the current 'society' she is plugging seems to be her FL recruitment... Similar to lanzabot actually - you suspect the MLM business is still there somewhere but it is difficult to spot. I do wonder what you would get if you contacted her for mentoring/coaching for a non MLM business.

at the idea that going to Birmingham is jet setting (nothing against Birmingham but I would expect a flight in, you know, a jet plane...). Also, in a normal business surely you would never schedule meetings for the same day in two cities that are in opposite directions
