Spongebobette · 31/10/2018 20:40

This is the 44th thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, Valentus, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Another long, copy-pasted ‘U OK hun?’ post from Wig. Bloody hell woman, spit it out! Have you split up with Sleaze or what????

And if you soft focus filter your photos even the slightest bit more you’ll be a pink blob!

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 04/12/2018 23:24

@ArbunneHun my dissertation wasn't as long as that. Wtf? So she's confident in dancing and NOT confident in dancing?! AHAHAHAHAHA

CatherineCookson · 04/12/2018 23:50

Looks like Wig managed to copy and paste all by herself ...

Not SF Ladiva.

She used to be best mates with the self-styled queen of Cheshire and they were godparents to each others’ kids. Fell out publicly over money.

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 05/12/2018 00:44

@CatherineCookson well spotted, pet! WORD FOR WORD! Ahahahahaha

SSDGM · 05/12/2018 01:20

That pic is slightly terrifying.

Nakedavenger74 · 05/12/2018 06:37

@UnapologeticallyUnhinged and @CatherineCookson. You can tell it's cut and pasted as the 'your' and 'yours' are all used appropriately!

My new younique hunbot has gone quiet after only 2 weeks in the biz. She was halfway through announcing daily black Friday deals (a week of them) then went back to normal family posts only. I hope she has seen the light

fromdownwest · 05/12/2018 10:58

I love the sales pitch - sceintifally proven, backed by science.

Cancer is scientifically proven, doesn’t make it a good thing. Such a strange sales line. Buy Water - it’s scientifically proven.

It just shows the complete lack of any buseinss or marketing awareness- they hear one line on stage then repeat it.

The desperate year end deals are now appearing - £3.07 for a lip balm? Strange pricing structure!

Spongebobette · 05/12/2018 11:02

I am amused by bots posting 'I've been challenged to sell 25 lip balms, please help me meet my target!'

DownThePan · 05/12/2018 11:10

That's not a challenge, that's a demand from their upline!

Spongebobette · 05/12/2018 11:12

exactly!!! It's so transparent!

I would imagine yawn is referring to these threads. She was certainly picked on a few years ago and people constantly laughed at her appearance. I read the threads when reading through and they were at times very nasty. I think she is still overly focused on here. Certainly things like her saying she is taking the month off then not is worth comment but things like her taste in home decor which is often brought up is not. She is by far the main focus on these threads

JasperRising · 05/12/2018 12:15

On the subject of scientifically meaningless statements. I think my favourites are:
1: FL bots stating that bio cellulose means their face masks are 'backed by science' followed by the claim that other companies don't invest in science Hmm

2: Juice plus (I think?) Bots claiming their products are backed by 'gold standard' research. I still have no idea who they think defines or assigns these standards. I suppose you could argue that research published in a peer reviewed journal with a high impact factor might be of gold standard. But has research supporting JP products ever been published in one of those journals...

I despair of critical analysis and even basis scientific awareness.
