In the year ended December 2016 in the UK, sales decreased by 25% and new business owners decreased by 52%. That is from reports filed by FLP UK at companies house.
The companies gross profit margin decreased by 67% from 2015.
2016 was a bumper year for cheques, it was the year when every bot walked across that stage with huge cheques with many zeroes on them. The 2016 cheques were based on how the bots did in 2015, which was the real bumper year for bots.
The cheques for 2017 were more modest and most top bots had drastic reductions in amounts. Dearest Yawn dropped from a $150k cheques in 2016 to a $50k cheque in 2017. Not sure what she got his year, I must be getting old as I don't recall seeing her cheque, I must have missed it, could someone let me know how much Yawn's cheque was this year? (This will never get old
)
Given the massacre that occurred with the UK cheques this year i'm guessing that in 2017 FLP UK did even worse. Last years accounts won't be submitted and online until October though.
It is stated that the 2016 decline was driven by a reduction in sign ups. Sales 'only' declined by 25% so it was the lack of sign ups that cause the drop in money.
As we know from posters here, new sign ups are one of the key things to getting a decent cheque and doing well over the year, so that makes sense.
If we look at the cheques for 2018, please please can someone PM me how much Yawn got, you know what she is like, so humble, so she's not bragging, then signups in 2017 are going to be even worse than in 2016. This will lead to even more of a decline in profits for FLP UK for 2017.
We do not live in the biggest country in the world, we do not have the biggest population. If we start talking about upside down triangles then there are only so many people in the UK that can be signed up.
Out of those who may be the type to sign up, so many have already signed up and dropped out. I looked at 20 people that Yawn had listed last year, I think it was her top twenty or something like that, there were only like 5 who were still active with FLP. The other 15 are gone from FLP for good.
Not to mention the UK has a pretty sweet anti-MLM movement.
The financials for 2015, which was the boom year for FLP UK are as follows. Sales grew by 81% and new business owners grew by 54%. The directors expected this to grow in 2016, which of course it didn't, it went down the toilet.
This is also evident in the country rankings. UK was number 1 in 2016 at the rally, dropping to 2 in 2017, and now we are 6.
FLP UK seemed to think that the huge growth in 2015 was down to weight management products, which may have played a small part in it.
Since 2015 there has been huge growth in other weight loss MLM's, weight loss coffees being the biggest. Are you going to spend over £100 on a C9 where you have to restrict your intake and drink yucky shakes, or spend a lot less on a box of coffee where you can lose weight while eating the same foods you ate before?
Given that everyone saw profits dropped when new sign ups decreased i'm guessing that is why we are seeing the huge push for new signups that we are seeing now.
Which is stupid, as if you sign them all up now, where are you going to find new blood for the rest of the year?
