Thanks mama. When you say full time do you mean you do this all day long? I want to do as much as I can most days as I need to make some money.

I looked at profit accumulator today.

I will look at team profit thank you.

mamahanji · 22/03/2018 20:20

Team profit is completely free so it's always worth it for the completely free guides and tools and advice.

I am a stay at home mum and around the kids I can manage 2-3 hours in the day, sometimes more and I do a few hours in the evening. And the weekend. But I do take days off and not do anything.

My current goal is to be more productive with my time as I feel I can spend less time if I have better planning. I'm much more of a wing it person but I'm not happy with the amount of time I spend as I feel only half of it is production right now.

But I'm also still trying to accumulate all the information I need and just constantly want to expand what offers I do.

How much do you have to start with? Because the more you are able to start with, the quicker you can make money. The majority of it will be in the exchange as liability and the bookies will be a much smaller amount as a stake. But familiarise yourself with the basic concept first of what you are going to do. It feels way scarier at the beginning but once you have done it a few times, it's less nerve wracking and then you become used to it pretty quickly.

I would 100% recommend the Team Profit Facebook group as it's a great community and they are more than happy for you to post questions and they can and will happily talk you through everything you need to.

Oddsmonkey is brilliant for the tools and all the guides and the threads. But that's not needed at the beginning.

Feel free to PM if you want with questions.

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 22/03/2018 21:09

I could probably start with about £50-£100. I'm going on holiday over easter week so plan to start when I'm back when kids back to school after half term.

I could easily do as much as you do in a day especially in the evenings and weekends.

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 23/03/2018 14:36

Mama would you say I definitely need to use the spreadsheet?

mamahanji · 23/03/2018 18:41

I think the Team Profit spreadsheet is invaluable at the beginning. Even if you only use the very basics like

Coral sign up offer
£10 deposited
£10 trigger bet on Man Utd vs Chelsea (Chelsea to win)
Back odds
Lay odds
Win/lose
It then tells you your qualifying loss exactly

And then exactly the same for the free bet
And it tells you your profit and will tell you at the top a running total of your profit. It's handy because it tells you how much you need to lay on the exchange once you input the odds and works everything out for you.

So I do think the spreadsheet is very good for the beginning to make things neater and clearer and have all your bets recorded in one place.

Team profit have a weekly list of good things to bet on for trigger bets for sign up offers. You want to experiment and get the smallest possible qualify loss so the back odds and the lay odds need to be close. Ideally lay odds less that 10% higher. And to get more money from the free bet, choose odds over 5.0.

Oh and change all bookies you are going to use from fraction to decimal. It is more accurate and that is what MBs use.

vandrew4 · 24/03/2018 00:31

getting on for £2000 this week. it's been cracking!

shortaris1 · 24/03/2018 05:39

Wow Vandrew that's great. I've made a few beginners mistakes that cost me profit but just won £660 on the Dunder sign up offer so I'm delighted! Its my first month back doing MB after a disastrous attempt a few years back.

I've woken up super early so going to get organised for today's bets. I'd love to try 2 up's but not brave enough yet !

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 24/03/2018 08:02

Wow vandrew that's brilliant how long have you been doing this?

vandrew4 · 24/03/2018 09:28

been doing it 2 years now but only just started the casinos really. wanted to wait till i had a big bank behind me

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 24/03/2018 10:30

Talking of big bank behind you... how do you guys use these winnings to live on and to have treats from if you continually need to have such huge amounts in the exchange?

mamahanji · 24/03/2018 12:32

So ideally I don't want my bankroll to drop below £1.7k. At the moment it's around £2.8k so I've got plenty for what I want to do right now. Before MB we were scraping by each month. And now I make enough each month to add to my bankroll and spend a few hundred extra in the home. When I was making £300 a month I didn't feel I had enough to spend more than £30. But it depends on the size of your bankroll and what offers you do. Some need a larger bankroll than others.

I don't think you need a huge amount on the exchange. I like do have £300 or so in Betfair and £600 in smarkets. I leave a small chunk of around £100 or less in my main bookies like William hill, paddy power, bet365, coral. And the rest I try to keep in my bank account so I can put it where and when it's needed.

I'm hoping go start on hi5 and extra places which I think needs a larger bankroll but I'm not sure yet.

MissFitton · 24/03/2018 13:23

Hello MBers. I'm really scrabbling round for offers at the moment. Having lost a few of the big bookies there doesn't seem to be much for me to do except get on with the rest of the sign ups.

Those of you doing casino offers - where are you finding them?

OP posts:
VanessaShanessaJenkins · 24/03/2018 15:52

Any tips for casinos?

I've joined oddsmonkey and signed up to 7 bookies so far. Been at it 3.5 weeks and made £320 as I've been taking it slow and steady.

I keep reading that casinos are the way to go though and despite reading up I'm still rather nervous of trying. I've done William hill free spins and won a couple of pound this week and today won £7 with free spins on sky but feel completely baffled when doing it. You don't seem to do anything other than press a button and watch. I don't understand why there are 100s of games which are essentially the same but with different skins.

mamahanji · 24/03/2018 16:12

I would just stick to free spins offers if you've only signed up to 7 bookies. There are over 50 decent sign up offers that make money easier and risk free instead of casinos which except the free spins offer do involve risk.

The different slots have different levels or RTP (return to player) and variance. So a slot with an RTP of 95 that is low variance would return £95 for every £100 wagered. On average. A high variance slot with an RTP of 95 would return £950 of every £1000 wagered.

Casinos are not risk free. They are more advantage play. And whilst some people make really good money from them, there are also downswings of busting out or losing £10 15x in a row. So unless you have a larger bankroll, it's not a good idea to risk some of it.

Free spins are always good to do as big wins can come from them occasionally and also they are completely risk free. Today I've had £15 from 3x10 free spins offer. So they are really worth doing. But until your bankroll is larger and you've done most of the sign up offers, you could lose most of your money with no return.

MissFitton
Here is a list of bookies that offer regular low-medium risk casino offers I do

William Hill often do 'bet £10 on certain slot, get 10 free spins' the 30 seconds of free spins ones aren't really worth doing as you can only really get 8ish spins and the slots are usually low rtp and the EV is low.
William hill have one at the moment which is 'wager £10 and get £5' the £5 has wagering on it. It has an EV of about £3 and a good tactic is to wager the £10 on blackjack using wizard of odds strategy and then taking the £5 bonus to a high RTP slot and wagering any winnings from it.

Dunder do 'deposit x get y free spins on certain slot' again you wager your deposit on blackjack and then withdraw it, and then do your free spins and if you are in profit after your spins and wagering, cancel your withdrawal and then withdraw it all.

Virgin Games and Star Spins do a wager £5 on 3 days and they give you a cash box bonanza. You can wager the £15 on blackjack if you don't want to risk it or do it on slots and hopefully get a good win. The cash box bonanzas have been brilliant for me. I've had over £300 in the last 2 weeks from them.

Jackpot joy also do box bonanzas

Grovesnor casino do free spins daily most of the time and a good 'wager £10 get 10 free spins'

I have a list someone gave me that I use, I can find it at attach it if people want? It's a very comprehensive list of most of the low risk offers out there.

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 24/03/2018 16:37

Thanks for the reply. That's very useful and detailed. Think I need to suss out the %s of each game out just find a list of the best ones for free spins etc as they all just look the same and there are sooo many of them.

Had some free money on live roulette last week and there were about 15 live roulette tables to choose from but with varying amounts which could be bet each time.

mamahanji · 24/03/2018 16:43

Any slot that has a jackpot in it is actually lower RTP than it says as the jackpot is added into the RTP. You can just google the name of the slot rtp and it will tell you the rtp and the variance. When you are offered a completely free casino offer then it is worth doing if you are comfortable with it. Roulette you can either do red or black, or cover 2/3rds of the numbers or my personal favourite is stick it on a number. My personal favourite is red 7Grin.

It's best to avoid jackpot slots unless you have to use the spins on them as you are more likely to win the little than the jackpot and the actual rtp is substantially lower. A slot with over 96% rtp is pretty good. Bloodsuckers and bloodsuckers 2 is one of the best slots with a 98% rtp but it is often excluded for offers as it is such a high paying slot.

mamahanji · 24/03/2018 16:44

Oh and each website has different slots. They don't all have the same ones so it's hard to know before hand which is good to use.

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 24/03/2018 18:48

Thanks again.

Stupid question alert- virtual sports? I'm assuming there is no way to lay them so is it possible to make money from the offers on them?

mamahanji · 24/03/2018 19:27

I'm they aren't layable but if you are given a free bet on virtual sports from a trigger bet with either no QL or tiny QL then there's no harm in a punt. But it's not something I do or put the effort into doing as there isn't guaranteed profit or advantage play which is what I follow.

postitnotes · 27/03/2018 10:02

@mamahanji I'd like your casino offers list if you have it, please. I want to be efficient with my time. I get an email with a casino offer, spend ages remembering my login, then reading the terms and realising its not worth doing!

mamahanji · 30/03/2018 17:26

Postit

I'll get it together and post it once I've sorted it.

Does anyone share matched betting with their friends and families? If so, how did they react. And has anyone reacted negatively?

AveAtqueVale · 31/03/2018 14:39

Hi - I’m giving this a go with profit Accumulator and I’m already confused Blush. Signed up with coral and Betfair, did as instructed, That’s all gone ok, but coral haven’t given me a free bet. So now I don’t know what to do - their live chat keeps cutting me off. I also saw a topcsshback offer to sign up to Ladbrokes, so did it, but now it seems to be their casino rather than normal betting and I have no idea how the heck that works! Rescue me!

mamahanji · 31/03/2018 14:42

Did you check on the minimum odds for the trigger bet? That's usually the issue.

I wouldn't take the Ladbrokes offer as the sports sign up offer for Ladbrokes is really good. How much was the cash back for and what were the criteria?

AveAtqueVale · 31/03/2018 20:16

No I think that’s where I’ve screwed up. Balls Easter Angry. What do I do now?

And Ladbrokes the cash back was £40 + for a £20 deposit used in three different wagers over the next three days. But I don’t really know how to place a safe bet - didn’t realise it was for a casino rather than sporty things. I suppose if I get the cash back though it doesn’t matter if the bets aren’t safe. But I guess cashback is not guaranteed. Argh this is all very confusing!!

mamahanji · 31/03/2018 20:53

If you didn't use the right minimum odds then I'm not sure, you could try live chat and see if they will credit it anyway. It never worked for me when I did it wrong but some people say it has worked.

The Ladbrokes casino cash back is wager £20 within 3 days of clicking through the link? So worst comes go worst you could lose the entire £20 on the casino; and then get the cashback. But cashback isn't guaranteed, I have personally never had a bad experience with it; but people have.

Even though you clicked get cashback, you don't actually have to take it. So I would just ignore it and instead focus on working through the sign up offers and sports cashback.

A few times I have forgotten the minimum odds and missed out on a promotion or free bet. You get used to it and it because second nature.

I always recommend joint the Team Profit Facebook group. It's brilliant and everyone is really helpful and can help you through it all. And Team Profit website. All free but very helpful and informative.
