Thanks Toobusy. It's good to know Natasha's not been kidnapped by the Bot Mafia. I had visions of her being held against her will in a garage full of unsold stock Grinbeing forced to drink skinny coffee on the hour every hour as some sort of punishment!

DoratheExplorer17 · 22/10/2017 11:30

Good grief I've only just caught up. Totally lost you all for a while. Couldn't find the new thread!!!!

Someone asked about Eagle retreat and why most of the top bots weren't on the cruise. It's because none of them qualified. They may have done the necessary CCs themself, but soaring managers have to qualify themself, PLUS they have to have 3 separate manager downlines also qualify. As a sapphire you have to have 6 separate manager downlines also qualify. And as NONE of their downlines qualified then neither did they. So whatever excuse they come up with for not going, it's because they didn't qualify. Apparently they've all taken a year off 🙄 So when you do that all of your team appear to stop as well. Just make the whole 'work for 5 years and then retire' quote seem like a load of rubbish!

cozietoesie · 22/10/2017 11:58

Gosh, Dora.

spanfan · 22/10/2017 12:02

Thanks Dora!!

I thought a few of my fave bots had gone a bit quiet.

BSintolerant · 22/10/2017 12:23

Where are all these bots who have retired after five years? They simply don't exist, do they?

DoratheExplorer17 · 22/10/2017 12:33

I've never actually met one BS and I met a lot. Uber has been at it for about 10 years I think. The previous Uber almost 25 years. Biggest uber of them all (guy from Germany) about 20 years. I've yet to find anyone who has actually done it. When the announcement came out in the magazine about the eagle cruise, I made a point of reading it very carefully. There were. One of the top bots names on there but there was a little section that said 'members of the leadership team INVITED to attend' which means they didn't qualify but were invited along to do a speech on stage. If none of the U.K. Top bots were there it would have looked a tad embarrassing. Especially castle bot, the poster girl.

BSintolerant · 22/10/2017 15:37

Very interesting Dora. Forever Living's MD was a bot. Wonder why he gave it up for one of those things he encourages bots to think of as something to be avoided at all costs, i.e a job? Grin

BSintolerant · 22/10/2017 15:48

And what will be their excuse for not qualifying / fewer sales next year?

The dog ate my passion planner.

I left my "why" in the back of a taxi.

My eyebrows ran off to join the circus (if only I'd had them microchipped). Wink

cozietoesie · 22/10/2017 16:02

Oh Dear..........ran off to join

cozietoesie · 22/10/2017 16:03

the circus.....Grin

cozietoesie · 22/10/2017 16:04

Sorry. I was laughing too hard. Wink

DoratheExplorer17 · 22/10/2017 16:38

Hmmmm not sure. They can't use the same excuses this year. I do also happen to know that uber is even worried about whether she will do level 3 chairmans bonus this year. She said to one of her managers....you'd better hurry up and do chairmans bonus or I'm not going to get level 3!!!! Shut the front door.....I always thought it was about helping your downlines, not your own financial gain? She might just scrape it but it's looking a bit iffy, so maybe she will end up buying that final downline qualifier. Just so she gets level 3. Kind of defeats the point of the cheque if you've already spent the money on products in order to get it!

Spongebobette · 22/10/2017 17:10

What do you mean by buying the downline qualifier Dora?

DoratheExplorer17 · 22/10/2017 17:20

Sorry Sponge.....by that I mean that she will definitely have 5 manager legs who do chairmans bonus, which is level 2 for her. She needs 6 to do level 3. She will have one more downline who needs some help to qualify. She will work out exactly how many CCs that person needs in that persons own manager leg and also what they call open business (people who are not yet manager). Uber will then run incentive competitions in whichever team needs it in order to get the CCs, things like order 2 C9's within the next 24 hrs and you get a free one. And she will offer to pay for the incentive prizes, which will all be C9's or skin care sets. This gets loads of people trying to get orders for C9's (high CC value) Uber will use her card to pay for them, but get the relevant downline to put them through their account, in order to make sure that leg gets their CB. I've seen it happen. It's basically manipulating where the CCs go. She will say it's to 'help her downline get CB' but actually it's to make sure she gets level 3, and the big cheque! Depending on how many CCs are needed, she could be spending thousands!

cozietoesie · 22/10/2017 17:41

And how do her downline people feel about it? (If you know.) Can’t they see the manipulation?

Spongebobette · 22/10/2017 18:01

THanks Dora

It’s all a bit murky isn’t it

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 22/10/2017 19:21

It also explains why she's had bugger all "maternity leave" and was straight back onto the recruitment/sell/mentor treadmill

BSintolerant · 22/10/2017 19:23

That's exploitation. What a grubby so-called business.

Spongebobette · 22/10/2017 19:56

Yes she’s been very busy recruiting and presenting all over the place, with the baby in tow. No possibility of taking maternity leave

It’s hardly living the dream is it!!!

shortaris1 · 22/10/2017 20:57

I 'popped' on a few threads back and got some great gossip.

I was at the fitness expo in Glasgow last week and there was a FOREVER stall. No one went near it in the 5 hours I was there Grin

spanfan · 22/10/2017 21:57

Yawnbot is delighted to have been recognized this evening....

... By her own husband.

Does she really not see how ridiculous she looks?????

Mielabel · 22/10/2017 22:53

I noticed than spanfan and actually popped on here to see if anyone else would point it out, it's so daft Grin she's really upping her recruitment game at the moment too isn't she? It made me think how pleased I am that I never made it in MLM, as Browbot has done very well indeed, yet instead of 'retiring after 5 years of hard work' still needs to recruit hard 7 or 8 years down the line to keep all her lovely things and lifestyle and home. Personally I think it makes a regular job look very secure and cushy in comparison. I would hate to be on her shoes as you don't have experience in anything else to fall back on as well. it genuinely makes me feel like I dodged a bullet.

BSintolerant · 22/10/2017 22:56

spanfan Grin Did he recognise her from behind?

Eddierussett · 23/10/2017 04:52

Reading the comments above, I realise it's actually quite a long time since I've seen a bot make the retire in five years claim in a public page. Ditto for the willable income claim. Maybe they realise it won't fly as a claim? I have seen a lot more of the 'amazing, the company pays me just for helping/teaching others' statement instead.

Spongebobette · 23/10/2017 08:45

Yes that’s right Eddie. It used to be very common as a claim but now it’s more about flexible working, being paid to help others etc
